Works Salvation. you mean Christ + circumcision ect... Yeah that is false
Amen. Works of the law. Circumcision, kosher dietary laws, etc. Not ALL works. The NT teaches salvation by repentance, faith, and good works, and salvation by baptism (Mark 16:16, 1 Peter 3).

i beleive in salvation by faith, there is nothing or we have done nothing to gain salvation its all his doing...how ever wha i get is it has become just words...in other words..if we are saved, where is the fruit of the salvation that was given to us freely thru the grace of our Lord Jesus christ..
Christianity is not just sit around and say hey am saved..its about working with Christ, cuz when he returns he looks at our deeds and works according to the book of revelation..
Salvation is a gift from God to those who repent and beleive in him but with it comes the cross, cuz when our heart is regenerated we work for the King

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Mt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Works... None is good but God. How prideful it is to say you can bring your works before God and therefore he owes you salvation. Salvation is a gift. Mercy is a gift. It is all a gift. Your very faith is a gift. The bible is Very clear that what God gives us is a gift and is not earned. I may expect this kind of argument from the Jewish community but Christians should know better...

Eternal security is a another gospel (FALSE gospel) and counterfeit grace message built upon partial truths and Scripture removed from context
Eternal obedience to the will of the Lord will lead to eternal security.

Then no one will have eternal life. For no one can be eternally obedient. We will all screw up at some point. At which unless we place ourselves back under law. Even when we screw up. God, who is now our father still loves us. He will chasten us no doubt, And no chastening feels good. But he will not kick us out of his family

What you have just done is what scripture straightly tells us not to do. You have made provision for your flesh.

Romans 13
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Too many times we who are mature and doing all the right things look down on those that are doing the best they can while stumbling through lifes pit falls. The Church in the only Army I know that kills their own wounded. Rather than putting the finishing blow on someone who is struggling we should reach out to the in the spirit of meekness to help restore them to God.

Galatians 6
1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

We are to love one another restoring one another knowing that we ourselves may also one day may fall into temptation. I believe we can live sinlessly, but that doesn't necessarily mean we will, and when we mess up God is not angry, He loves us and wants to restore us. We as fellow believers need to have this same heart toward one another, not judging and nic picking everything we each do.

We are warriors in a real war, this is truly a battle and we need to have each others back, not hold the knife that finishes the other off for good. It is bad enough that The devil sticks his foot out then when we fall he puts that same foot on our knecks and try to hold us down, we do not need to kick each other when one goes down. Even the man kicked out of the church of Corinth in 1st Corinthians 5 was forgiven and restored in his relationship to God, and to the church in 2nd Corinthians 2
2nd Corinthians 2
3 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.
4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
5 But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.
6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.
9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So not only do I want to make clear that I know that it is only through Christ that we are able to obey God, but that we all including myself remember to show mercy to our fallen brothers and sisters

No what I have done is do what God tells me to do and no longer place myself back under law. If one can lose salvation because of sin, They are under law not under Grace.

I also admit I am not perfect. I seek to look at the spirit. But I do not always do it. Then again neither did Paul. He called himself a wretched man. If Paul was not perfect. I would be arrogant to assume I could ever be perfect!

Do you have kids? I hope not. For I would not want to be your child if you are anything like the Father you claim God is.

Romans 6
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
......
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

You cannot serve two master. Either you serve Christ or sin, not both

Any gospel that makes allowances for sin is a false gospel. While not one of us is perfect, what we must understand is that, while God created man with free will, God did not create man to sin but rather for right fellowship. Sin came into this world when mankind decided that, not only did they want to be on the same level as God (thus eating the forbidden fruit), but also that man's ways (clothes made of leaves) are better than God's original design (nudity). In doing so, man not only rejected God's ways but also rejected God himself - the penalty of which is nothing less than death. Then, because man believed his way is better than God's way. God exiled mankind from all that God created to make life easy for them, and from then one man would have make his way, hunt and / or gather his own food and build his own shelter.

Sin is when we exalt our way over God's way. What makes sin worse for the believer is that God provides the means of escape when we are tempted through the indwelling Holy Spirit (1 Cor 10:13) , yet so few believers actually turn away from temptation in favor of right fellowship. That why sin still grieves the Holy Spirit, because our sin reveals our unbelief of the scriptures (ie. faithlessness). Without faith it is impossible to please God. Thankfully God is always willing to forgive when we humble ourselves and repent of our misgivings.

I believe that if we are truly experiencing the new covenant, then we will have complete victory over sin. To be a full grown son, we must be made free. I believe Jesus has made us free, all we must do now is walk in our freedom. When people say that we are not to make sin a habit, but yet everyone sins, and will not be completely freed from sin until the resurrection. They do not truly believe (have faith in the fact) that the Son can make us free indeed.

I do believe that we can be free from habitual sin however, let's face fact, we all stick our foot in our mouth's from time to time and / or unkowingly rub people the wrong way. I think we all possess certain character flaws obtained through past experiences that we may be completely oblivious of yet they may be obvious to others. It is the role of the Holy Spirit to make us aware of us such flaws through the process of sanctification.

I believe we can live sinlessly, but that doesn't necessarily mean we will

The first step to being perfected is to realize it is not us, but Christ is us and that we on our own would never be able to accomplish anything, only by the grace of God working is us and for us enables us to accomplish perfection. Even then it is not us, but the Holy Spirit working in us that accomplishes this, yet when we get to Heaven we get the credit. Good deal huh?

Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Expanding on that thought made in Philipians 3:3 for one second Lue Engle quotes Mike Bickle in Lue's book ''Nasirite DNA''

''Nazitires who are not living with intimacy with the Lord also face the danger of self righteousness when they rejoice in their commentment to the Lord Jesus and not in Jesus Himself. Just like the Pharisee who despised the tax collector, in Luke 18:9, we will admire our own dedication while looking down on that of others. Too often we judge other by their actions, while judging ourselves by our intentions. The heart of those who rejoice in their own stregnth will end up in one of two pitfalls: either arrogance of accomplishment, like this pharisee, or self hatred as an unworthy son. Only embracing the grace of God to us with humility can help us avoid this''

We not only have to realize that it is God working in us and not our capabilities working for themselves, but we must serve God to the best of our ability out a pure heart of love growing in intimacy with Him, and not our of religious duty to be able to become what God wants us to become in Him while remaining completely humble.

Faith without works is dead. We are saved by faith in Jesus Christ and everything He teaches. When one has faith it is always demonstrated by works. Now, perhaps you believe you do not work, but I have some of the Good News to bring to mind. "Believe that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh and He is the Savior of all who call upon Him, this is works." Remember he who waits is also working. Let us all believe
, pray, edify whenever possible, wait, and whatever we are permitted to do do to the glory of God. Love also is works and a gift from God. God is Love. Blessed be our Savior, Jesus Christ, in Jesus Christ's name, amen.

Oh yeah???

when we mess up God is not angry, He loves us and wants to restore us.

Restore us? So let me guess. You would kick your child out of your family for a white lie. And tell then when they are ready to repent you might let them back in to "restore" them? Because this what people who claim one can lose salvation for sin is doing.
