I dunno... It depends on the chocolate. Some kinds made by some brands are better than the sweetest symphony or the hardest heavy metal.

On the other hand, I've never tried a chocolate yet that made me want to dance. So there's that.
The same could be said of music, as in: "It depends on the music."

For instance, I would rather eat chocolate than listen to death metal ;):giggle:

uh why are you doubting this, happened more than once!

its common and yes it was men, never had any problems with women being inappropriate online though some women had different kinds of issues...
When I first joined up here, I immediately got two followers... Both sexy girls in their 20s from other countries with brand new accounts... Seems to me there's something GOING ON here... BEHIND the scenes... MAKING the guys act STUPID! :devilish:

Who said anything about death metal? I'm talking heavy metal, not death metal.

Sent By Ravens, Kutless of course, some Shachah, Paige Armstrong...

Even there it depends on the hot fudge. The stuff at McDonald's is more like sweetened plastic.

Or... Are we talking homemade hot fudge here? Because if we are, I could go across the country and seriously hurt somebody for some good homemade hot fudge.

Eh? My response not exactly matching or corresponding to what you said was because
I do not mind some heavy metal. I am talking about my preferences, not yours.

You talk about yours, I talk about mine. Get it?:oops:

I know my rights, submit in silence
Smiling in fear, the rule of tyrants

As wisdom born of scars can't be forgot
So my tongue gives life to my thoughts

My heart, my mind, my faith, my life
The truth will never fear a lie
Live free or die...

I've seen justice, lawless vanity
The mob rules, cult of anarchy

As the loathsome dogs of war come crawling
They meet the fierce conviction of higher calling

My heart, my mind, my faith, my life
The truth will never fear a lie
Live free or die...

Or we could have sister SeoulSearch go back through the 100's of threads and reopen her own, haha, jk or get permission to update some fun/interesting posts.
As far as I'm concerned, anyone at any time is always welcome to rewrite or put their own spin on something I've posted here. I don't have the time I used to spend here, so I don't post nearly as much. In fact, I've always advocated for people to start their own threads, whether with a new or inspired idea, and I really wish more people would try it.

A long time ago I offered to try to help people who had ideas but said they weren't sure how present it into a thread, but then it turned into other people wanting me to take the time to write the whole thing, keep the thread going, and then take all the pushback that came with the subject they were curious about.

I appreciate your thoughtfulness in asking permission, Tabin, but rest assured. :) You and anyone else can feel free to copy, reuse, or recycle anything I've written here anytime.

I really wish more people would try -- it would definitely inject some much-needed life into the forums.

English singer Ozzy Osbourne is often identified as the "Godfather of Heavy Metal."

I was listening to him when I was 15. I still like this song:

Nov 8, 2017 Black Sabbath performing "N.I.B." live for the very last time.

It was on Black Sabbath's 1970 debut album, Black Sabbath. Wiki says of it:
The lyrics are in the first person from the point of view of Lucifer. Bassist
Geezer Butler, who composed the song's lyrics, has said that "the song was
about the devil falling in love and totally changing, becoming a good person."

As a 15 y/o, I did not know that, nor did I care

That's a pretty good rendition of the song, all things considered :)

Well... There's a big difference.

But heavy or deth, I know one thing for sure: I'd rather talk about chocolate than either kind of metal. :D

Just out of curiosity, and you don't have to answer, but did these two "sexy girls" ever try to contact you? Though I'm guessing this was after CC had a fee for sending PM's, which I'm sure had cut down a lot on some of the riff raff.

I can neither confirm nor deny this story, as I heard it secondhand, but a long time ago, I heard of a member who presented an avatar of a very young, pretty female who started "following" all men, mostly several times her age.

Allegedly, "she" struck up a PM conversation with at least one of them, eventually saying things like, "Well, I don't have any experience with (very personal subjects) and was wondering if I could ask you a few questions about it..."

As one could guess, it all went downhill from there, and then "she" hit the guy with, "Hey, I'm underage..." and then proceeded to tell him that if he didn't started paying her (I don't know she was asking that the money be sent to her; again, this is all alleged,) she was going to start exposing copies of the emails he had sent to her discussing said very personal subjects. I don't know what happened after that.

The moral of the story is, don't always trust what you see, especially when it's going to try to lead you right into a trap.

(I'm a gal and I still remind myself of this. If someone tries to "follow" or contact me online whom I KNOW I would never attract in real life, I tend to put up an extra couple rounds of guards.)

So what? You were talking about your preferences, and I was talking about mine.

Criticizing me for talking about mine while you speak of yours strikes me as being a bit... strange.

I'll have to look it up. By 16 I was into Alice Cooper LOL

Other music genres and styles also. I was never what anyone would call a metal head.

I remember one person who claimed they were a woman, making a thread inviting men only to message her so they could discuss her sexual issues. A couple of us women raised red flags over it, and took a lot of flak, I guess from guys who wanted to talk to her privately. Two of them stalked and harassed me for months afterwards. A resurrected thread reminded me of them recently. Ah! Such fond reminiscences :giggle:

If you hover over anyone's avatar beside their post, the "Follow" button is the first along the bottom...
