As I went on a walk this morning, I asked God if there was anything positive that I could contribute to some of the posts I've read here the past few days.
All I can say is that when people express strong, negative emotions, it usually means they've been deeply hurt, and for that, I am sorry.
Please also remember that sometimes when a person is acting out in extreme sexual ways (giving themselves to people easily, etc.), it is often, not always, but often, a sign that they were abused in the past. Many who have gone through that kind of abuse feel that their body is the only thing people will be interested in, or they decide that they will just give themselves away before someone can take the right away from them again.
And, some of the people who express the strongest opinions are going through some of the toughest battles themselves... I've found that in many cases, the men who say the most negative things about women have the strongest roots in things like violent pornography. Not always, but often. The hate and bitterness gets a hold of the heart and always finds a way to manifest itself...
But the most important thing to remember is that God calls us to love. If we see someone acting in non-Christian behavior, God calls us to pray for them, to ask that God will bless them and bring them to Himself. If we see someone posting something we strongly disagree with, again, God calls us to bless that person and help them through their own hurt.
I do hope that some of the hurting people here receive what God is desiring to give to them (and this includes myself.)
