How many straws ya need to raise a straw man?😂
Don't duck, and it won't go over your head next time.
There is no reason to play footsie with half-truth. This is a nation headed to hell if it continues to teach that sin is a light thing. And one of those, perhaps the worst that one can do, if I'm an Evolutionist, is to tell someone to fail to procreate.
And that's before we get into Millstones around the neck, and the ocean for which we would be forced to dredge to get enough water to drown someone if we actually carried out what God thinks is worthy of all the people in the US with these kids.

JohnDB is 100% wrong, as is this society. It is not good for man and woman to learn to be independent before they are married. This, in addition to suggesting all kinds of sexual failures, is contrary to what God himself said, through Jesus.

But for some, I understand that Jesus is archaic and stupid.

At least you answered my question. You need a whole mess of straws to raise a straw man.

If that's what you took from my replies. Have you figured out how many more you need to straw me?

Wasn't he also an adulterous fornicator? :p Er... At least before he met Leia.
Most people never make the connection, that sound and light is one of the most consistent, perhaps earliest, sources for hypnosis, and every movie you go into is sound and light.
You don't think they're selling naked women and violence as a primer to keep you from learning sin?
You've been hoodwinked, it seems, if you think that there is good in feeding yourself the lessons of the dead.

I don't think we are able to rightly presume there is no such thing now, a Christian house husband.

I know of 2.

And it is entirely biblical. Because we are all one in Jesus. No male, female, Greek, Jew.
I am thinking that the Proverb 31 woman had a househusband.

Actually I never watched them. I'm a nerd... I read the books. All of them.

Yeah, ALL. Like, the Hand of Thrawn series, the Corellian Trilogy... Everything except the Jedi Prince line. We pretend those books don't exist. Never happened.

Dear Sir, it’s not a Disney character. Also I’m not a Disney CEO, and this is maybe hard to believe, but I’m not transgender either lol.

Who has time for LARPing? I have too much to do in real life to pretend to be an entirely different kind of person.

I was racking my brain trying to figure out which Disney character you were! Thanks for clarifying you're not one. ;-)

These are definitely interesting thoughts.

I personally think the shift is already happening. (Again, just from my own point of view,) fewer and fewer men are the heads of households due to a myriad of factors. If I think of all the people I know or have known throughout the years and their families, parents, etc., I can think of only a few that were headed by men (and even if a man was present, he might not have been the leader, whether due to him abdicating his role or a woman taking over.)
I agree, and I'd go so far to say I think it has already happened, 'though maybe not quite as overtly as you describe in your post. In the West, men have been feminised to a significant degree, and women masculinised.

My first instinct is to say that the population wouldn't die off -- because people seem to find ways to have sex no matter what -- but then I have to think of Japan (which is facing that very problem because young people aren't dating or marrying,) and the fact that America is pushing several agendas (gay marriage) that won't produce children.
Yes. But the next generation is then essentially raised by the government, and taught that transgender/homosexuality is good/normal, and it is even rewarded. Then there is not enough men/women to go around for those who don't buy into the propaganda, and they in turn leave the society (to establish a natural family elsewhere), or die childless, or resort to prostitution and/or meaningless sex, which has the same or worse result (for children) than homosexuality.

We've had a lot of thoughts lately running through Singles that Christian men can't find Christian women.

As a single Christian woman, I often feel like I'm caught in the crossfire between the ashes of a movement I never participated in, and men who feel they are caught in the middle of the fallout, but will associate me as a proponent due to gender association.

Sadly, the result for both men and women appears to be the same -- isolation.

And in many cases, a nearly impossible hindrance on both sides to recognize or seek out the hidden gems among the rubble.

Maybe I'm just an optimist (which I'm not exactly known for being,) but I still believe they are out there.
Yes. The battle of the sexes is a tragic war that never needed to happen, and has caused so much damage to many people. But I believe you are right that there are hidden gems amongst the rubble! Never give up! :)

The character is a sketch by one of Disney's former employees, hence the similarity in style.

Your post asked if we should calm down our gender specific personalities. I think I replied as to why this is not, at all, a good choice. Perhaps ever.

Have you seen a lot or much turnaround by others when confronting them about their sins? I know it's always God that's at work, but what I mean is, have you found confronting them to be useful?
Being honest is like a glass of water on a hot day to a people who live among lies and want something else.
I myself have felt better when confronted with the exposure of satan's tricks, and I am too odd to be a human.

For instance, I once worked in a business where 80% of my co-workers were living with their partners rather than marrying. I've often wondered how one talks to someone about this.

Do you have any suggestions or personal experience in handling these situations?
Leave. Do not be equally yoked.
It will only make them angry if you're honest, and will only serve to inflate their theory of the rightness of their deeds if you sit silent. Especially if they know you're a Christian. And Satan knows, so he'll start his army after them, and you.
