Gal 3: 2 - 4 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain?

Why is it so many people want to attempt to perfect their salvation by doing good works? Do we really believe that our works done out of fleshly desires after we are saved are any less putrid to God than before?

A person who is saved will show humility in doing things, not for self gain (although he may also do things out os self gain. He is not perfect) but you will see a changed life.

a person who was never saived will always do works (even what we consider good works ) out of self gain. and not for God. As paul said "if indeed it was in vein or you were even saved in the first place)
this isn't even "perfect their salvation" EG.
this is some cosmic kick-start into potential salvation by one's clean slate now kept clean by their righteous abilities.

the worst possible false gospel i know of, for it retains the Name of Jesus and uses the Cross for the man-centered 'gospel' (which is hardly Good News, is it?). even the Big Institutions don't come right out and make this claim....they cover it in ritual and tradition and dogma.

anathema.

When we finally do ask for forgiveness & acknowledge our sins, we receive forgiveness freely. THE SLATE IS NOW WIPED CLEAN. From here on we have a SECOND CHANCE to PROVE our FAITH by GOOD WORKS & NOT SIN anymore like we used to. We have to CHANGE. We are now under MERCY. That second chance to now produce GOOD FRUITS (good works) for Christ. We have been shown TRUTH now.

yeah, this is a new one on me, As bad as the free grace crowd. It is amazing how satan distorts truth on one side or the other of the truth, and so many people fall for it.

The ransom of a man's soul is very costly, we cannot pay to ransom ourselves. This ransom, salvation, is a gift from the One Who paid once and for all who will accept the gift of salvation offered by Jesus Christ. When we come to Christ and realize all He has done for each of us (and does continually), it is impossible to not work to show our gratitude in one manner or another such as in being a prayer warrior, helping others when possible, teaching if possessing the ability, healing, and much more. No, we cannot earn or pay back for salvation, the cost was too dear, but we are free to love in Christ's name, to be forgiving when called upon, and to follow Christ's example as we are led. I would never say "once saved always saved," but I will say anyone losing the gift after having received it is in dire spiritual straits. We work and work towards perfection, and as is written in the Book, we will be perfect "on that day," and our appearance will be just like Jesus Christ, though no one actually can say how that is, it will be such. Now that perfection will not be attained but finished by God, Himself. God bless all in Jesus Christ....Yahoshua Mashiach!

I will say this if you teach christ words word for word you cant possible be teaching a false gospel christ words cannot lie no deciet lies came out of his mouth for example John 14/24 he who does not love Me does not keep My sayings (his words) and the words which you hear are not Mine or My Fathers who sent Me. He is telling you two thngs if you dont keep his sayings you dont love him and he also is telling you the words which you hear are not Mine but My Fathers who sent Me (that means he has a Father and they are his words (and God help those who call Christ a liar) this is the true gospel

John 6/68 to whom should we go Lord for You (christ) have the words of eternal life (his words gives us eternal life dont be like the Pharisees in John 8/43 why do you not understand My speech because you are not able to listen to My words you do the work of your father and the desires of your father you want to do. they could not recieve the truth coming out of christ mouth they were not even able to listen to His words which cannot lie
