I also profess that they are not modern day prophets as well Tobby. But knock yourself out with the extracurriculars if you so choose. Incidentally, if we are honest with ourselves, each of us would admit to the sin of pride to some extent. Some greater than others. If you find yourself in agreement with their proclamations of damnation against Christ's church and His beloved, perhaps you would do well to recognize that in doing so, you are sanctioning judgement upon those whom Christ has redeemed with His precious blood. Good luck with that Tobby :)
bla bla bla!.. Stop telling people that they are proud if you're no better!. That is my point!. You judge them the moment you call them proud!. And it is a sin!. So stop it for your own good!. And what makes you sure your own teachings are not damnation against Christ's church and His beloved?.

So it's not pride when you say other people teachings are damnation against Christ's Church and see yours as the correct one?. Leave God to judge, let God himself distinguish those that serve his well or not. And stop calling everybody that disagrees with you PROUD!

Then this word is not for you.

I strive to be found in Christ in all that I do. That I be obedient to His voice, in all that He convicts me of. That includes posting words just as the one above.

I know that those others do not reflect the light of God. What foolishness is this. They do not have the light of God, how can they reflect it? But they are not hypocrites. The Muslim will and does give his life for his beliefs. The Hindu does actually live by what he believes. And many others.

Do christians live by the Holy Spirit? Do they reflect Jesus Christ in the world?

You answer.
I have been blessed with know quite of few brothers and sisters in Christ that do and who have the maturity that I strive to reach with the help of the Holy Spirit.

I tend to ignore the others lol kind of like how I stop listening to a conversation when people start making sex filled jokes and start reciting the periodic table or something lol :)

anyways how are you doing today? did you have a nice visit with your brother?

Oh you don't really think that other religions do it better then Christians do you? what is it?

lol my suggestion is read your words as if someone else is telling YOU the same thing and see if your words convict or justify the thoughts in your heart and mind. for it is by YOUR words that you will be judged or justified. ;) just a suggestion.

The other religions do not have the words of life, so no, they do not do it better. But they do follow what they believe better than many christians.

Somehow the world know that as His followers we are to love just as He loves. We are very poor in that task.

My brother in law's visit was not good. He has decided self serving tendencies. He came to visit, and left almost as soon as he got here because his dogs picked up some burrs in my yard. This upset my wife. She really wanted to visit with him. We are both wondering when we will see him here again. Probably never, as my yard is 10 acres and I cannot rid the whole thing of burrs.

But thanks for asking. I appreciate your heart,
In Christ,

oh that is sad, maybe you will be able to visit without the dogs I've found as I get older (lol feels funny even saying that) anyway I've learned the importance of family and cherishing one another and those God has placed in our lives. When we talk about loving others, I think a good place to start is with ourselves and those closest to us.

Every day I think about how many times I take for granted those around me and I ask God to remind me to not rush through live but to cherish each person, because our lives are not about things or actions but relationships and people.

Like God does not want us to DO things for Him, He has all power and millions of angels to DO things. No God wants us to learn and grow as any Good Father would want their children to grow and mature. So many people are still drinking milk learning to eat solid food as their teeth grow. So many still have baby walkers when they should be running the race God has set before them.

I guess we should pray for our brethrens and hope they pray for us. Have a blessed day.

If we can just follow His new commandment, to love one another even as He has loved us, then God would be pleased with us, and the world would know that we are His disciples.

Thank you for your kind words,
In Christ,

If the world does not see Jesus in us, and yet we claim to be followers of Him then our testimony is a lie. That should concern all of christianity. That is does not just shows how far away from Him we are.

How about an amen to that?

Na, never mind, I am a false prophet. There is no way that I could speak the truth.
Your neighbor could live next door for (20) years and never see Christ in you or your family. Not one time, because his mind had been blinded by the god of this world. You were kind to your neighbor and were helpful anyway you could, but they just did not see Christ. Then on the 27th day of that 21st year at 7:02 pm, when it was snowing up a storm, God revealed His light in the heart of that family and they responded to the light of the gospel. You prayed and waited (20) years and now God has revealed Himself faithful and has answered the prayers of a righteous man.

During those (20) years you had problems in your marriage and even had a time of separation. There was trouble with your kids in their teenage years, your daughter had pre-marital sex and got pregnant. Your son hung out with a rowdy crowd and found himself being arrested for possession of illegal drugs. All these things happened in the plan of God and each time you had to humble yourself and get grace from God to help you deal with the situation. Through it, you learned that God is beautiful for situations and you grew in grace and walked with God in the dark places and found Him to be strong and faithful and He became your refuge and a present help in the time of need.

Many could have looked upon your situation and what took place in your marriage and family and came to the conclusion that you were lousy so-n-so Christians because your testimony and life involved all these things that had the appearance of evil and sin and recklessness. But what they did not know was that God was in it and had never left you nor had He forsaken you, because He loved you with an everlasting love and would never go back on that love because He was bound to it, because it was His nature. He was going to see it through and continue to intercede for you being the High Priest that He is and ever lives to be. Do we know Him as the God of details that is concerned for every single thing that happens to us and are we thankful for His patience and longsuffering because of His great love for us?

I want to know and have fellowship and communion with this kind of God, who never condemns me, who forgives my sin and gives me His grace for all my weakness despite my flesh. Whose love will never think evil of me but only think thoughts of peace to give me an expected end. A God that delivers me from a horrible pit because He delights in mercy and He loves to give grace and exalt those who have been abased. This is the God of the Bible and the God of His written word that we have been given to build us up in the truth and reveal Himself to us through that truth by His Holy Spirit.

A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all the world will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

Tobby.......listen up my friend. If one sins and they are truly a Christian, they know where to go to repent. Not to me .....but to Jesus. :)

This thread is about hypocrisy, which is a particularly heinous sin with God. It is not given to judge anyone. If anything at all, it is to get us to examine ourselves, just as I have done. (Or did you not know, that every word I post I have taken to heart, and let that word judge me first?)

Jesus was and still is very unhappy with hypocrites. I search my heart seeking in His light to find if there be any thing in me which is not of Him. Sadly, all too often I do find things which are not of Jesus Christ. The cross is the only place to be rid of these things.

There is no blasphemy against a man. By definition there cannot be blasphemy against a man. Only against God can one blaspheme. And worse, against the Holy Spirit.

You are way off base Zone.
that's your escape clause is it VW? call it heresy then....you 'prophets' don't care what you tear from His hands and claim to yourselves. no fear. completely deluded.

you evidently have no idea what blasphemy you commit. too far gone. blind.

you have no problem blaspheming God by lying about what He has and has not said.
corrupting His word, claiming He is speaking through you.

BLASPHEMY. you're phony...through and through. FAKE. and a LIAR... HYPOCRITE!

Matthew 7
I Never Knew You
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

We need to understand that Jesus had mercy and love for everyone but hypocrites. Them He had no mercy for, and He will not have any in that day either.

The discipline of love. The kind of love that (1Cor 13) is speaking about. Do you have that kind of love for the believers and your brothers that make up the church that you judge and condemn in the manner that you do? Jesus laid His life down for us and we ought to lay our life down for one another. Condemning and judging the church, where your brothers are, is not laying your life down for the brethren. If you think it is then it is another spirit of the world that is teaching you and not the Holy Spirit.

Yes, I love them enough to speak the words I hear from the Spirit, and suffer ridicule and scorn from you and others for those words.

Look, if the words do not apply to you, then that is fine. Otherwise, you do not know who they are for.

For the rest of your life could you lay aside your gift, edify the church, lay your life down for the brethren, preach the gospel, pray, seek the lost and have fruit unto God? While you do that can you let Jesus Christ judge His own church that He is the head of and purchased with His own blood?
