Now regarding your question about the young women who are not yet married. I do not have a command from the Lord for them. 1 Corinthians 7:25. There are no rules for Christian dating. About the only guide lines was no sex before marriage, and we fail at that. I guess GOD's rule was not high enough, churches make up their own.

I'm sensing that you have a personal stake in this issue... given the number of threads on the subject started by you in recent weeks. Maybe, instead of dancing around it, just share what's going on for you (though perhaps not in this forum).

I get tired of Churches, pastors and Christians taking verses out of contexts, using their personal opinion as GOD's word. examples, there's no sex in heaven. Show me the verse that says that. They cannot.
Hammering single Christians with
2 Timothy 2:22 to flee youthful lust. The verse has nothing to do with sex. Read 2 Timothy 2:23 to see the context.
I heard a pastor telling a Singles group, when you have those strong desires, like GOD putting Adam to sleep, let those desires go to sleep. They do not go to sleep.

Matthew 22:30...For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Jesus did not say they will not have sex. Read Genesis 6:1-2 "When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose." These fallen angels had desires. They were attracted to the women.

If everything reproduces after its own kind the sons of God cannot be referring to angels.

Marriage is the sexual union of man and woman, two becoming one flesh.

Did you read this part?

Paul doesn't encourage marriage, but he doesn't forbid it either. This isn't a command from the Lord, but rather this is Paul's "...judgment as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy." He considers it to be sound advice given the "present crisis" because "time is short."

1 Cor. 7:32-38
32I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord.
33But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world—how he can please his wife—
34and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world—how she can please her husband.
35I am saying this for your own good, not to restrict you, but that you may live in a right way in undivided devotion to the Lord.
36If anyone is worried that he might not be acting honorably toward the virgin he is engaged to, and if his passions are too strong and he feels he ought to marry, he should do as he wants. He is not sinning. They should get married.
37But the man who has settled the matter in his own mind, who is under no compulsion but has control over his own will, and who has made up his mind not to marry the virgin—this man also does the right thing.
38So then, he who marries the virgin does right, but he who does not marry her does better.

1 Cor. 7:40
40In my judgment, she is happier if she stays as she is—and I think that I too have the Spirit of God.

That's true if one can't control their own will, i.e., their burning passion. The ideal is to have self-control.

37But the man who has settled the matter in his own mind, who is under no compulsion but has control over his own will, and who has made up his mind not to marry the virgin—this man also does the right thing.
38So then, he who marries the virgin does right, but he who does not marry her does better.

So far all I've heard is talk, criticism of "churches" teaching false doctrine, and ranting about how teaching purity is a bad thing. Time to put up or shut up.

You mentioned Calvary Chapel in another thread. Who are all these "churches?" Do you have any official statements from any of them that are public? Any videos, websites or newspaper articles that document what you're saying?

It's beginning to look more and more like Dino's right: You have some kind of personal beef with someone.

Most of that is Paul's opinion and he makes that clear. I told people decades ago I would much rather care for pleasing a wife. I did what GOD asked me to do, but it wasn't by far what I really wanted to do.
Do you have a verse for this?

The oldest, and likely the most widely held, interpretation is that the “sons of God” are fallen angels (demons). This was the interpretation most favored in ancient Judaism and the early church (cf. 1 Pet. 3:19–20; 2 Pet. 2:4; Jude 6). The phrase “sons of God” is clearly used elsewhere of angelic hosts in God’s heavenly court (cf. Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7). Moreover, the narrator seems to contrast “man” and “the daughters of man” with the “sons of God” in Genesis 6:1–2.

Even if one accepts this view how can things of different kinds reproduce? It's not surprising that Satan would want to pervert a good gift of God but wouldn't that be his motivation and not the enjoyment of the act? Taking the form of something isn't the same as being that thing. Jesus actually became human. Fallen angels do not.

Not just Calvary, but pastors I've heard online. Telling singles to wait on GOD's perfect choice for you. GOD does not choose your spouse. No where in the scripture does it say that. If a multi millionaire walked into a church, many of the woman would say that's GOD's perfect choice for her. Having Christians tell me if you as a single person even think you sex you have sinned. That is ridiculous. If thinking about sex is the same as having sex, you may as well go out and have sex. They are teaching things that actually keep people apart.

If they are not angels, who are the sons of GOD in this verse? Please don't say it's the line of Cain marrying the line of Seth. That would mean the daughters of Cain must have been ugly.

I would much rather be the one who married. I would rather care for the things she needs. I have no desire for the singles life.

I'm sorry but I think the best thing for me to do is put you on ignore. No hard feelings.
