It made for a better story. He didn't have to, scripture says so

Flour can be used as a sin offering

Jesus forgave peoples sins without shedding any blood, and told us he had the authority to do so

Mark 2
10 So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.”

Christ was not a fake human. This "avatar" thing you speak of is not biblical. It comes from a sci-fi movie which isn't even real.
We have a thread going where many here believe God took His own sperm and His own egg, mixed them together and implanted them into Mary

Her human uterus was used to grow this God
He wasn't human, just looked and acted like us

FAQ: From whence did baby Jesus obtain a Y chromosome for his male
gender?

A: In the beginning, Eve's entire body was constructed with material taken
from Adam's body.

Seeing as how Eve is the mother of all women, then any material taken from
Mary's body to construct a Y chromosome for baby Jesus would be owed to
Eve's body.

The beauty of it is that a Y chromosome constructed with material taken
from Mary's body would not be an alien substance created ex nihilo; but
would be 100% natural, and easily traceable all the way back to Eve, and
from thence to the very dust that was used to construct Adam's body.

I can't prove any of this of course, but nevertheless I sincerely believe that
what I suggest herein actually took place when the power of the Most High
overshadowed Jesus' mom per Luke 1:35; and if my suggestion is true, then
little Jesus was thoroughly my fellow top to bottom-- biologically descended,
as I, from the Man that God created in the book of Genesis.

Heb 2:17 . . He had to be made like his brethren in every way
_

They believe women's DNA doesn't contain any sin, somehow

I'm with you, if every human has a sinful nature, Jesus would have 50% sinful DNA or nature from his mother side

So many can't grasp that he was like us in EVERY WAY and say sin DNA only comes from fathers sperm and since Jesus didn't come from human male sperm, he can't have any of Mary's sinful nature DNA

Hebrews 2:17
Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters, so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then he could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people.

Could someone parse the Greek for me and translate what "like us in every way" means?

Jesus had a sinful nature from his human mother Mary and never once acted on it

Or, none of us are born totally depraved with tainted DNA, we are born pure and then nurtured by the world into becoming little sinners

One or the other

No. Jesus did NOT have a sinful nature, and you are way off track. You are promoting "another Jesus" and a heretical teaching.

You promote a Jesus that was not fully human; and if not fully human, couldn't take sin away , per the Holy Scriptures

Let me know if you need me to show it to you

HINT: Its in Hebrews

Jesus of Nazareth was FULLY sinless Man and FULLY God at one and the same time. Any idea short of this is not from Scripture but from the devil.

Your claim that Jesus has a human sin nature is completely false. Christ could not possibly be the Savior of the world if He was the same as all other humans. So you are here to simply troll Christians and stir the pot.

There are many cultists who vehemently deny that the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man. Obviously they do not really understand the reasons why it was necessary for God to become Man. So we need to address this from Scripture (and everything stated here can be backed up with Scripture):

1. Mankind was created in the image of God in order to have eternal fellowship with God -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

2. Because of Adam’s sin mankind was separated from God, and without the New Birth no one can see or enter into the Kingdom of God.

3. Because God is absolutely holy and righteous, sin not only led to physical death, but would also lead to the Second Death -- eternal separation from God.

4. God has no pleasure in the the death of the wicked, nor in the eternal damnation of any human being. Hell (the Lake of Fire) was created for the devil and his angels.

5. But the only way for God to be reconciled to mankind would be for the sin debt of the whole world to be paid in full. Obviously no human being could pay this debt.

6. But because of God’s mercy, grace, and love, God chose to provide a remedy through His Son. The Lord Jesus Christ -- the Lamb of God -- would by Himself pay the full penalty for “the sin of the world” by the sacrifice of Himself (an offering to God the Father).

7. Because Jesus of Nazareth was fully God and fully sinless Man, He could not only suffer and die on behalf of every sinner, but He could also rise again from the dead after three days and three nights. And that is exactly what He did.

8. So the reason why God had to become Man was to remove the sin barrier between God and mankind, and at the same time destroy the power of sin, death, Hades, Hell, and Satan at the cross. The resurrection of Christ was evidence that this had been accomplished.

9. However, only those who repent (turn away from their sins and idols) and believe wholeheartedly that Jesus is God who died for their sins and rose again for their justification will be reconciled to God and receive the gift of eternal life. They will also experience the New Birth when they receive Christ into their souls as Lord and Savior.

10. God offers salvation freely to “whosoever” will obey the Gospel. But those who do not obey the Gospel will be damned. So if you have not obeyed the Gospel, God now commands you to repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
He did not become a man. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God. God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. And God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. As it is written, behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

You mean there was no Deity in the DNA of His flesh?
Jesus walked on water and turned water into wine. Jesus knew the past and the future exactly. Obviously, Jesus was operating at a level far above our own. Jesus also emptied Himself and became one of us according to Philippians 2. Exactly how all this is understood is way above my pay grade.

Here is a very serous problem to consider.

God told Moses when asked wat to call Him, I will be What I will be. I believe this on faith. Do not limit our Maker as being only as words have elated to some and not others. He will be What He will be. Start with Father, Son and Hoy Spirit.

That is true Nehemiah6.

The only way mankind could have salvation is there had to be a sinless man that fulfilled the law without fault which Jesus said not one tittle or jot shall pass from the law until all is fulfilled.

Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins but in the Old Testament the blood of animals could only cover their sins and there was a remembrance of them every year in which they had to be covered again for the blood of animals could not completely take away their sins.

But the blood of Christ completely takes away sins.

This plan was before God laid down the foundation of the world.

That is why the Bible says Jesus is the beginning of creation even though He was not born until 4000 years later.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word with God, and the Word was God.
All things were created by Him and without Him not one thing was created that was created.
And the Word became flesh.

In the beginning was the plan of God to come in the future in flesh, and that plan was with God before He laid down the foundation of the world, and that plan was God manifest in the flesh.
All things were created with the plan of God to come in flesh and without that plan God would of not created anything He created because Jesus is the reason creation is successful, eternal life, and judging the angels and people.

The Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world.

God calls things that have not happened yet as though they already happened for if it is a plan of God to happen in the future it is the same as if it happened in the beginning for it will surely come to pass with no hindrance.

In John 17 Jesus said the Father loved Him in the beginning and then said that the glory that He had before the world was He wants the saints to have the same glory and that they may be where He is at and behold His glory for the Father loved Him before the foundation of the world.

Jesus was speaking as a man because the glory He had at the beginning could not be talking about Him being God for the saints could not receive that glory but Jesus as a man was praying that the saints could be in heaven with Him and behold His glory as He sits on the throne in heaven.

God came as a man and that plan was already in the beginning but it was the same thing as if it already happened.

Why did God need to become Man?

In order that He might offer Himself as a sinless sacrifice for man's sinfulness. Also, He provided an example for us as well as providing us with many teachings. He gave us insights into Himself that are not always obvious from studying the OT alone.

There are many cultists who vehemently deny that the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man. Obviously they do not really understand the reasons why it was necessary for God to become Man.
Agree. To deny His deity is to deny His Gospel. He and the Father are necessarily One.

5. But the only way for God to be reconciled to mankind would be for the sin debt of the whole world to be paid in full. Obviously no human being could pay this debt.
Correct. (y)

7. Because Jesus of Nazareth was fully God and fully sinless Man, He could not only suffer and die on behalf of every sinner, but He could also rise again from the dead after three days and three nights. And that is exactly what He did.
Praise the Lord! (y)

10. God offers salvation freely to “whosoever” will obey the Gospel. But those who do not obey the Gospel will be damned. So if you have not obeyed the Gospel, God now commands you to repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen. Good post.

To be honest; none of this makes any sense to me whatsoever.
Perhaps we should appreciate you for your honesty, but...

I cannot fathom why a supposedly intelligent God, a God of love no less,
would proceed to create a race of fragile beings knowing in advance that the
majority of them would end up lost in spite of His best efforts.
To insinuate that God is not infinitely intelligent and infinitely loving is... not good.

These things are in no way confusing or hard to digest for those who have tasted of the goodness and grace of our loving Lord.

God desires that men come of their own free will. Any man who goes to Hell goes because he has chosen to. No sympathy for the Devil and his children from me. I love my almighty and wise Master and I know He loves me. If many go to Hell, that is not God's fault. I personally think that God's plans and ways are nothing but good and just and far more intelligent than mine.

Job 40
1 Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,
2 Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
3 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
