I'll give you an example. In our universe there are some 2.5 billion stars. We couldn't make 1. And God made these by merely speaking.
Compare that to the greatest minds on earth or our greatest inventors.
He is simply beyond Compare. It is little wonder the psalmist said...what is man that Thou shouldest considered him...
In many ways we have lost our awe of God. It would do us all some good to sit outside on a cloudless night and wonder anew at the Almighty.

You probably never heard of Carl Sagan and even he would say of the number of stars, billions and billions and his estimates were probably low. Cloudless nights in the cities do not give any sense of the sky any more with so much light pollution. This is also a possible contributing factor to mankind's loss of touch with reality in general and God in specific. But now the James Webb telescope provides a 'synthetic' or 'technical' or 'sense enhanced' view of the universe.
Try not to miss the forest for the trees. The heavens declare the glory of the Lord.

I hope you are jesting and if so it is very funny. If not, the point is that all God does is done for His glory. The innumerable stars are meant to reveal the majesty and creativity and the infinity of God. This is meant to produce in us a sense of awe at His magnificence. Even as I attempt to describe this to you I find my choice of words too small to even begin to describe how great God is. My mind is too small to fully express God. Likewise, the universe is too small to give expression to all that He is.

I know who Carl Sagan is and I understood your post. But your original post asks about it in relation to God. Looking at creation from a scientific perspective will never lead you, at least in my opinion, to anything more than a cognitive understanding. I thought you were looking for a greater understanding of God, not His handiwork.

Secularists have unknowingly disclosed and discovered many truths throughout history and God when necessary uses them in His work. This is well documented in the Bible. I am not that familiar with all the details but some people on this chat are.

The number you used is miniscule. God's handiwork is no longer available for viewing due to mans' pride in his own 'technology'.
There are approximately 200 billion trillion stars in the universe. Or, to put it another way, 200 sextillion. That's 200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000! The number is so big, it's hard to imagine.Oct 4, 2021
I don't dismiss advances in culture through secular people. I believe Nimrod was a descendant of Cain and he built cities. Cyrus was a Persian king who delivered the children of Israel out of captivity. There are a multitude more. And while one can draw some satisfaction from discovery in God's handiwork, true satisfaction can only be found in Him.
But I obviously missed your original intention so I appreciate your forbearance and please forgive my intrusion on your topic.

There are some people here in the United States that believe souls were created before our bodies were born. There is a preacher in Arkansas, USA that teaches that souls pre exist.
