Pam, a born-again believer since 9 years old. Hi everyone! I'm new to Christian Chat and feel right at home here so far. My dad was a Baptist minister and I received Jesus in my heart as my Savior when I was 9 years old. Even though I don't follow a religion, I follow Christ and that's the only thing that matters! :) So, I don't know what it's like to NOT have Jesus walking with me on a daily basis. My mission has been traveling and singing gospel music, and leading people to the Lord for many years. Jesus and I have accomplished this in prisons, all different kinds of churches, outside get-togethers, and even dating sites and chat forums. God is good! I have been given the gift of healing from Jesus and am His vessel when He ushers me to someone in need. Life has not always been an easy walk, and I have fallen quite a few times; but Jesus continues to be there for me with each and every step that I take. And when I couldn't take that other step, He carried me until I was strong enough to take it by myself again. Mighty, mighty is King Jesus! Corinthians 12:9 states, "“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” I continue to see this over and over in my walk with Him. Thanks for welcoming me to this site and may God bless each one who is here. :)

Jesus walks with me on a daily basis too and glad to see that He does the same for you. Following a religion is one thing but does not necessarily equate to following Jesus. It was wise of you to realize the difference and to walk accordingly. I love the quote that you provided too. Glad to have you join our family of believers and I'm looking forward to your posts. Welcome to CC.

Welcome sister in Christ. We all walk in the path created by Jesus. While we may stumble, God will always pick us back up, even if many months go by. Things will always get better. :) God bless.
