I'm on the fence about one way to lose your slavation and sure on one other.

First, I'm not sure if one gets truly saved and he continues to sin with no change in his life if he will go to Heaven. I do not like works based salvation and don't believe that one can ATTAIN salvation through works, but can some lose it if they never repented? Something to think about. If he lived exactly like he did before. Did such man repent? You can't go to Heaven without repenting.

Second way Im sure you can lose your "salvation" is if you apostate. Like Matt Dillahunty. He was a self professed born again Christian for 20 years then totally left the faith and became an atheist in college.
He did not remain in the faith. He lost it.

If Matt Dillahunty became an atheist, couldn't we say he was never truly saved to begin with?

Many church leaders believe that they were saved. They were sinners like every Christian. Ananias and Sapphira were not being obedient Christians and willfully sinning. Sometimes God's discipline on His children requires death.

If you can find a way to demonstrate conclusively he was never saved I'd agree. Besides saying well, he fell away therefore he couldn't have been truly saved.

Brother MOC Some nice scriptures brother, but if a brother or sister falls away from the faith, they had to have something in order to lose it. Ask Judas, an apostle!! Did he not lose his faith in Jesus?? Do you think he will be saved?? He was so bad he is in a special place of hell!!(Acts 1:16-26)

Now salvation itself cannot be lost, however you sure can reject it after receiving it. (1Tim 4:1-5) What good brother does a man or woman have that they cannot lose?? Can you lose your wallet? etc... Please do also look at (Rev2:4-5) also Heb 3:12-14) Notice in verse 14 brother IF WE HOLD FAST!! SO!!!

It is up to us to hold fast our faith. NOW!!! This is not to judge anyone!!!! You know your faith is solid because you are holding fast!! But some will not brother, and they will receive their reward as well as those who hold fast their faith!! (Rev 22:10-12) Hence why (James 1:22) says we must be doers!!!

Words by themselves are just words, but action associated with our words means much!! Jesus was such a fine example of this, he healed people, he had compassion on people, then he spoke, and his words meant much because of his action associated with his words, and we are to follow him in this, at least to me brother. Hope this helps in our understanding.

No, Judas did not lose faith in Jesus. You cannot lose what you never had...

If you've been "zapped," it's not possible to do anything to cancel it. No need to hold anything fast, no need to endure, no need to believe the scriptures that teach salvation isn't guaranteed until the end. It's a comforting thought really; unfortunately it isn't true.

There's plenty of hope, His name is the Lord Jesus. Remain in Him, steadfast in faith, and you'll have no worries. Reject Him and go your own way and all bets are off.
Jesus has done all the work. I am sealed with the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption...no conditions. Please don't equate doctrine for the Jews to the body of Christ. Rightly divide the word of truth.

I have no idea what you mean and I'm quite sure I don't want to know.
I didn’t think you did. Many take doctrines meant only for the Jews and place them on the body of Christ.

Amen! 1 John 1:8 is in the 'present tense' yet there are those who still erroneously teach sinless perfection and continue to suffer from a terminal case of self righteousness. On the Christianity Board, there are a handful of members there who teach the sinless perfection heresy. Three of those members were previous members of Christian Chat who ended up getting banned. Go figure. ;)
You have judged "people" as teaching sinless perfection. Would you back up this judgement of "people" by quoting someone who you say does this. Christ did this, but I have seen people accused of it, but never have I seen anyone who actually did this except Christ.

Christ told us what to do about our sin, Christ repeated it so you wouldn't miss it or wonder about how sin in our life affects their walk with Christ as a Christian. Christ said "repent". Christ wanted us to try our best to follow our Father, for when Christ taught to greet all people with the acceptance the Father has, Christ said in Mathew 5:48-- Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect

The righteousness of Jesus Christ is imputed to those that believe. What more do we need other than the righteousness of Jesus Christ? I'll answer...absolutely nothing.

If this is the day of redemption

John 5:28
Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice and come out—those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

And if Paul's audience in Romans 6, for example, did not heed his warning here
Romans 6:12
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires.

Then John 5:28 tells us where they will go if they are a part of "all"

And even in Ephesians 5 he warns
Ephesians 5:3-5
But among you, as is proper among the saints, there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk, or crude joking, which are out of character, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure, or greedy person (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

He gives the same warning in Galatians 5:19-21 which may clarify any questions as to what he meant. Yes it is scary, yes it is true. But there is freedom from sins.

Furthermore

Here is the same phrase again and Paul seems to be talking about those both under the law and apart from the law.

Romans 2:7-8
To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow wickedness, there will be wrath and anger.

Romans 2:17
All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law

Eternal security is false doctrine for those who hate truth, period.

Scripture defines the day of redemption as the adoption. It's when our bodies are redeemed and we will finally appear as a son of God.

Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
