"Really? Well, IMO your batting average as regards rightly interpreting passages would have you kicked off a Tee-ball baseball league.
Just letting you know buddy. "

36then what about the One whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world?
He is stating here that He is greater than anyone Psalm 82:6 refers to.

That He is - unlike every other man - from heaven, and sent to earth. Above every so-called 'god'

We are from below; He is from above.

I have never heard anyone say this. Thats why I asked you who believes this
The argument that insists Jesus saved everyone, all people, says that. By virtue of the meaning of the adjective, all. (Jesus saved all people)
"Being or representing the entire or total number, amount, or quantity: synonym: whole.
Constituting, being, or representing the total extent or the whole.
Being the utmost possible of."

Just as with the pronoun, everyone. (Jesus saved everyone) "every person; everybody."

Above every so-called 'god'
Greater than any 'god' so-called or otherwise
- this is exactly Hebrews 1
GOD Himself calls Him "Oh God" and "YHWH"

it is not blasphemy for Him to declare Himself equal to God
- this is exactly Philippians 2
His true form is God. It is not robbery.

He is not denying the fact that He is God. He is destroying their objections.

Clearly only those who believe, and clearly not everyone believes

Here let me help you, it is not universalism to state that Jesus took on the sins, paid the debt for all humans past present and future.

It is only your Calvinist view that turns this into universalism.
Because you wrongly believe that Jesus only died for the elect which is heresy.

Who in here can show the scripture where it says Jesus death on the cross saved everyone on earth for all eternity? Whether they believe or not?

No, and no one can. Jesus death on the cross saves us from our sins if we believe on Him and trust Him for salvation. So you're talking to air here, no one said that.

That's what the Pharisees claimed.
Jesus claimed otherwise
RM.....we are all witnessing your persistent, ongoing, strenuous exertions in degrading the Son of God, YHVH, Creator God Almighty, the Eternal One, the Alpha and Omega, Whom the angels worship and will worship forever, to some unbiblical second class citizen (a god?) of the Trinity. With shock and dismay I might add.

Jhn 5:23
That all men should honour the Son, even as G2531 they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Heb 1:6
But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says:
“Let all the angels of God worship Him.”

This is not the only instance of God calling God God. Just to let you know.

Heb 1:8
But to the Son He says:
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A
scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

What scripture says is that He died for the sins of all and in this way justified "many"

There is no one the piercing of God is unable to redeem.
But it is only those who put their trust in this that are redeemed; for those whose faith is anywhere else, His death and resurrection is to them condemnation because of their unbelief.

You argue it when you insist repeatedly that Jesus died to save all.

1. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not 1Tim

2. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2 Pet

3. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John

4. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people

5. For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe

6. Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel? Ezk

7. For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live.” Ezk

8. But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, !!!! Christ died for us. Rom.

9. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Rom

10. “Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. Is.

11. Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Rom

12. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. Rev

13, For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Rom

14. Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. John

15. So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. Acts

16. The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, Acts

17. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” Acts

18. When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John

19. I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.” John

20. It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all. 1 Tim

21. We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. 1 John

22. But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!

Agree. Was that yet another crash and burn interpretation conjured up by RM?

Just come out and state what you believe, that Jesus only died for the elect and the rest have no Saviour
I'd like to take the opportunity here, because i am so often wrongly called a calvinist, to point out that i agree with you on this point - Christ died for the sins of the whole world, not just some sins of some people.

It is only those who believe that enjoy the atonement He accomplished.

It's because most people have totally misunderstood original sin it seems. It has basically given the Universalists a foothold upon which to stand. One false doctrine creating another and another.
Christian Universalists , Christian Universalism, are not sustained by the Bible as you also know.
It's understandable that using scripture to prove that is not well received.

At what point on the road to Emmaus did the 2 disciples understand?
I think it is a good point that these disciples were not called 'unsaved' but 'foolish and slow to believe' while they didn't yet understand

@Mem

Make sense?
Not unbelieving. Slow.
And after that rebuke - praise God! - He began to explain to them :coffee::love:

((love you both))

This of course fulfilling His mandate and commitment to His own. Which we ourselves can also depend upon.
