2 Cor 4:3-4

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
 we've been over these verses as well, brightfame52, and the verses do not support your assertion that the Gospel is the mystery.

the god of this world is satan and, yes, in agreement that satan works to obscure the Gospel so descendants of Adam end up with him in the lake of fire.

satan has always worked to thwart God's purposes ... all the way back to Adam and Eve.

The Gospel was not hid from anyone ... including satan. The Gospel has been proclaimed throughout all of history.

satan knew the Gospel, yet he worked to crucify the Lord Jesus Christ.

satan did not know the mystery, the hidden wisdom and if he had known the mystery, the hidden wisdom, Scripture tells us satan would never have crucified the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:7-8 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it [the mystery, the hidden wisdom], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

The Gospel is not the mystery.

1 Cor 2:14 does not refer to the Gospel.

1 Cor 2:14 tells us the mystery, the hidden wisdom cannot be understood by natural man.

1 Corinthians 2:7-8 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

The Gospel is the Gospel which is proclaimed throughout all of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation.

The mystery is the mystery.

Until God revealed the mystery, the hidden wisdom to Paul, the mystery, the hidden wisdom was kept secret since the world began:

Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began

Until God revealed the mystery, the hidden wisdom to Paul, the mystery, the hidden wisdom was not made known:

Ephesians 3:4-5 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit

Until God revealed the mystery, the hidden wisdom to Paul, the mystery, the hidden wisdom was hid in God from the beginning of the world:

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ

Until God revealed the mystery, the hidden wisdom to Paul, the mystery, the hidden wisdom was hid from ages and from generations ... BUT NOW made known:

Colossians 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints

Your problem is that you conflate the mystery, the hidden wisdom with the Gospel.

conflate
to combine two or more separate things
.
1 Cor 2:14 does refer to the Gospel. John Gill writes and I agree:

But the natural man,.... Not a babe in Christ, one that is newly born again, for though such have but little knowledge of spiritual things, yet they have a taste, and do relish and desire, and receive the sincere milk of the word, and grow thereby; but an unregenerate man, that has no knowledge at all of such things; not an unregenerate man only, who is openly and notoriously profane, abandoned to sensual lusts and pleasures; though such a man being sensual, and not having the Spirit, must be a natural man; but rather the wise philosopher, the Scribe, the disputer of this world; the rationalist, the man of the highest attainments in nature, in whom reason is wrought up to its highest pitch; the man of the greatest natural parts and abilities, yet without the Spirit and grace of God, mentioned 1 Corinthians 1:20 and who all along, both in that chapter and in this, quite down to this passage, is had in view: indeed, every man in a state of nature, who is as he was born, whatever may be the inward furniture of his mind, or his outward conduct of life, is but a natural man, and such an one
receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:
not the things relating to the deity, personality, and perfections of the Holy Spirit, though these the natural man knows not, nor receives; nor the things done by him, particularly the operations of his grace on the souls of men in regeneration, concerning which he says, as Nicodemus did, "how can these things be?" but the truths of the Gospel before spoken of; so called, because they are contained in the Scriptures edited by the Spirit of God, are the deep things of God, which he searches into and reveals; and because they are made known by him, who is given and received for that end and purpose, that the saints might know them; and because they are delivered by the preachers of the Gospel, in words which he teacheth; now these the natural man receives not in the love of them, so as to approve of and like them, truly to believe them, cordially embrace them, and heartily be subject to them, profess and obey them, but on the contrary abhors and rejects them:

for they are foolishness unto him; they are looked upon by him as absurd, and contrary to reason; they do not agree with his taste, he disrelishes and rejects them as things insipid and distasteful; he regards them as the effects of a crazy brain, and the reveries of a distempered head, and are with him the subject of banter and ridicule:

neither can he know them: as a natural man, and whilst he is such, nor by the help and mere light of nature only; his understanding, which is shut unto them, must be opened by a divine power, and a superior spiritual light must be thrown into it; at most he can only know the literal and grammatical sense of them, or only in the theory, notionally and speculatively, not experimentally, spiritually, and savingly:

because they are spiritually discerned; in a spiritual manner, by a spiritual light, and under the influence, and by the assistance of the Spirit of God. There must be a natural visive discerning faculty, suited to the object; as there must be a natural visive faculty to see and discern natural things, so there must be a spiritual one, to see, discern, judge, and approve of spiritual things; and which only a spiritual, and not a natural man has.

We have been over this, yet you believe not. The natural man is lost, so while in a lost condition the Gospel is hid from him or her. The word hid is in the perfect tense in the original denoting that its permanent as long as one is in a lost natural condition. Sorry

We have been over this, yet you believe not.
 that I do not hold to your erroneous dogma does not mean I do not believe Scripture.

2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

From Pulpit Commentary
Verse 3. - But if our gospel be hid. This is added to avoid the semblance of a contradiction. He has spoken of "manifestation of the truth," and yet has spoken of all Jews as unable to see it because they will not remove from their hearts the veil which hides it from them. How can "a veiled gospel" be a "manifested truth"? The answer is that the gospel is bright, but the eyes that should gaze on it are wilfully closed.

2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

vs 4 - the god of this world is satan ... not God the Creator of the heavens and the earth and all that is therein.

satan obscures the Gospel. God proclaims the Gospel. The Gospel is revealed in Scripture from Genesis to Revelation.

when it comes down to it, your claim is that satan is more powerful than the Gospel (which is the power of God unto salvation - Rom 1:16).

you have absolutely no faith in God ... nor in the Gospel ... the power of God unto salvation.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it [the Gospel] is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The Gospel is revealed in scripture, but scripture is of the things of God, they were given by inspiration of God, they were not given by and through the natural man, but by Holy Ghost inspired and moved men of God, Holy. Jesus had to supernaturally open up the understanding to understand the scripture Lk 24:44-46

44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

So again, the Natural man cannot understand the scriptures, the Gospel 1 Cor 2:14

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

John Gill says of Luke 24:45

Then opened he their understanding,.... He not only opened their hearts, to attend to what he said, and the proofs he gave of his resurrection from the dead in a true body; but he removed the veil from the eyes of their minds, and gave them an understanding of the sacred writings, respecting this matter:
that they might understand the Scriptures; concerning his sufferings, death, and resurrection, which they were very ignorant of before, and which were as a sealed book unto them, John 20:9 though they had been from their infancy brought up to the reading of the Scriptures, and had had the advantage of Christ's ministry for some years; which shows the necessity of the special illumination of the Spirit, and the influence of his grace to remove the darkness of the mind, and give the true sense of the sacred writings.
You foolishly think people can naturally pick up a bible and read it and understand it.

Again John Gill says of 1 Cor 2:14

The Gospel is revealed in scripture, but scripture is of the things of God, they were given by inspiration of God
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

2 Peter 1:

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The above verses tell us that God is the Author of Scripture ... not man. The point of these verses relates to the Authorship of God's Word.

For you to twist the meaning of the verse to make a claim which is not supported by the verse is nothing but vain reasoning in your futile attempt to support your erroneous dogma.

 Jesus did not reveal the Gospel to them at this time. They had already been taught the Gospel ... they had been with Jesus as Jesus taught the Gospel to others ... they had already believed the Gospel.

Prior to this appearing of the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, the only people who had seen Him were Mary Magdalene and the two men on the road to Emmaus. However, the apostles and disciples did not believe Mary or the two men when they told them they had seen the Lord Jesus Christ (Mark 16:1-13).

The Lord Jesus Christ chastened them because they did not believe Mary or the two men:

Mark 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

In the record in Luke 24, the Lord Jesus Christ opened their understanding to the all things written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning Him:

Luke 24:

44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures

Jesus did not open their understanding that they might understand the Gospel, as you erroneously infer.

Jesus opened their understanding to all that was written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms concerning Himself.

How long have you been studying Scripture?

Do you understand all that is written in the law, the prophets, and the psalms concerning the Lord Jesus Christ?

brightfame52 said:

 more of your conflating the Gospel with the mystery, the hidden wisdom.

1 Cor 2:14 relates to the mystery, the hidden wisdom. Not everything written in Scripture relates to the mystery, the hidden wisdom.

Here is a record where God revealed His Word to an unbeliever:

Isaiah 7:

10 Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying,

11 Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.

Ahaz was an unbeliever ... Ahaz understood the words spoken to him by God through Isaiah the prophet. Ahaz rejected the word of God ... not because he did not understand, but because he suppressed the truth in unrighteousness (Rom 1:18) ... just as all folks do when they reject God's Word.

God reached out to Ahaz through Isaiah. Ahaz thumbed his nose at God and piously claimed he did not want to "tempt" God.

God has always used believers to reach out to unbelievers ... it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

In our day, the believer is to hold forth God's Word. God reaches out to mankind through the believer ... that is the means through which God tells us He reaches out to mankind throughout the history of mankind ... all the way back to Genesis.

Adam taught his children. Seth was a son of Adam ... Seth taught Enos ... Enos taught in his generation, the children of Enos taught in their generation.

Enoch preached in his day. Enoch was Noah's grandfather ... Noah preached in his day ... and on and on throughout all generations of mankind ... all the way to the present generation and on to future generations.

The issue boils down to whether it is God's Word being preached or man's vain reasonings.

In your case, I can absolutely tell you that you are not preaching God's Word when you hold forth words such as what you submitted in Post #1804:

those He died for do not have to believe it, accept itor do anything but continue being ungodly sinners

... a statement for which you have yet to repent even though I have given you many, many opportunities. Here are just a few of the times I pointed out your outrageous lie:

Post 3009
Post 3019
Post 3025
Post 3035
Post 3045

and you have yet to humble yourself and admit you made a false statement which totally contradicts what the Lord Jesus Christ told people (go and sin no more).

Your "gospel" keeps people in bondage to sin.

The true Gospel frees people from the bondage of sin and causes people to become alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:12-13 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

In 2 Corinthians 3, God tells us about folks who have a vail upon their heart. The only way the vail is removed is when the reader turns his/her heart to the Lord Jesus Christ:

2 Corinthians 3:

14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

16 Nevertheless when it [the heart] shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

If we want to understand Scripture, we must absolutely turn our hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ.

And before you spew your nonsense that only God can turn the heart of the person toward Him, the words shall turn are in the active voice, which means that the person is the doer of the action.

Notice how he speaks of ungodliness in the past tense ? He’s not saying feel free to keep living that way because of grace of you continue on in those epistles you find instruction that leads to repentance and right living fulfilling the promise of righteousness by faith

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge ( hearing and believing the gospel of the kingdom )
after the image of him that created him:

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:5-10, 12-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the instructions about repenting from our old sinful ways and doing the new things walking in the good works the gospel sets before us is part of it all.

you have made good post here , I think if you let the rest of those epistles into your belief it will change what “ grace and faith “ means into a powerful effectual changing of the sinner into a child of God in deed and truth
It's always a false teaching that which implies justification and eternal salvation are a license to sin.

It's always a false teaching that which implies justification and eternal salvation are a license to sin.
yeah the thing is the doctrine is complete false teaching requires us to remove parts of it

“Saved by grace through faith “ isn’t something that erases repentance and righteousness it empowers us to overcome sin and receive the righteousness of Christ

what I mean is if we just accept what is there and don’t cut out everything we don’t accept it’s always going to lead a person to repentance and righteousness

For example the Ephesians letter says this early on

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8-9‬ ‭

Then if you keep reading it goes into this wrotten to the exact same people chapter two is written to

“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:1-7‬ ‭

what you have in the bypergrace deception is using one berse to Eliminate all the others saying “ your saved by grace “ therefore nothing you do or don’t do matters your already saved regardless “

They interpret one verse to erase the others and they in thier mind make them seem contradictory the same apostle writing to the same people the same message yet they’ll use verses like this to explain what they are doing when someone realizes it then they say this

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And use that to explain how they are able to remove the parts of the doctrine they don’t want to accept which is absolutely not at all what that is explaining.

false teaching is to remove the things that are already there in the true doctrine spoken by the lord and explained by his apostles

Even in the beginning God said something to Adam and Eve “ don’t eat this fruit or you’ll surely die “

satan then had to remove that understsnding from thier minds because it was a safeguard he convinces them “ that’s not true you will not surely die God knows it will make you as gods “

He had to remove the idea “ the fruit is deadly don’t eat it “

Faith is to hear and accept Gods word and not to look for ways to reject and redefine it

a Jesus doctrine if we accept it a we learn is always going to accomplish this

“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:32‬

So you have this type of thing in the gospel which plants and builds faith

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬

a then you have as a person is drawn closer by faith this type of thing that teaches us about our behaviors ( just like Paul’s letters address both remission of sin and repentance

“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: he is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

( contrasted with )

But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:46-49‬ ‭KJV‬‬

As we hear and believe he’s teaching us lanout repentance and obedience only because we first believe in him

He chi angels us from one glory ton e next from one faith to the next as we grow we’re being changed from those who constantly desire and approve of sin , to those who begin to desire and Will for righteousness

but it’s a process as we learn we grow

false doctrine is to remove what’s there , interpret it away with your own ideas that are contrary

as Christian’s all we have to do is hear and believe what’s already there and follow after that even when it says we have to stop sinning and start living right we just have to first hesr and let it into our heart then when it roots it becomes incredibly effective to actually change the things deep in us that cause is to keep bound in sinful behaviors

Thhe doctrine sets us free from slavery to sin but it actually does it isn’t just what we say

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32, 34, 36‬ ‭

“What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;

( 1 option ) whether of sin unto death,

( the other option ) or of obedience unto righteousness?

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Being then made free from sin,

ye became the servants of righteousness.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:19

The gospel sets free but not when we reject and re define it and remove all of the parts of grace that do this which is the whole purpose of grace

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-12, 14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

why do our works matter so much to God ?

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

awe need to through Christ learn to love and become zealous for good and become opposed to evil it’s really simple if we just allow the gospel in we will learn and know

Do you understand all that is written in the law, the prophets, and the psalms concerning the Lord Jesus Christ?

 more of your conflating the Gospel with the mystery, the hidden wisdom.

In your case, I can absolutely tell you that you are not preaching God's Word when you hold forth words such as what you submitted in Post #1804:

... a statement for which you have yet to repent even though I have given you many, many opportunities.

And before you spew your nonsense that only God can turn the heart of the person toward Him, the words shall turn are in the active voice, which means that the person is the doer of the action.
.
Again the natural man cannot receive the Gospel, its foolishness to him because it must be spiritually discerned. 1 Cor 2:14

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned

yeah the thing is the doctrine is complete false teaching requires us to remove parts of it

God forbid.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

awe need to through Christ learn to love and become zealous for good and become opposed to evil it’s really simple if we just allow the gospel in we will learn and know
Yes, we grow in knowledge of righteousness. Nothing threatens our eternal security.

Again the natural man cannot receive the Gospel, its foolishness to him because it must be spiritually discerned. 1 Cor 2:14

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned
1 Cor 2:14 does not relate to the Gospel.

1 Cor 2:14 speaks of the mystery, the hidden wisdom of God ... the mystery which was kept secret from the foundation of the world until God revealed it to Paul:

Colossians 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations,
but now is made manifest to his saints

Your problem is that you conflate the mystery, the hidden wisdom with the Gospel.

conflate
to combine two or more separate things

.
yes exactly grace contains the teachings of Jesus Christ that tell us things like this

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:3‬ ‭KJV‬

That to a believer begins to change thier idea that what they do doesnt matter it begins to teach them “ I have to start living right I can’t just keep sinning and pretending I’m saved either way “

theres that real grace found in the gospel that teaches us to repent and live upright lives and then there’s this form of grace that is a deception

“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

when I explain to you “ your saved by grace “ this doesn’t substitute any of the doctrine teaching us to repent of sin and live right is my point we learn this

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;”

‭you learn that here in the gospel Jesus teaches us to repent of ungodliness and worldly lusts nd to live upright lives that’s my entire point his teachings are where grace is actually found we don’t reject his word and then say we’re saved by grace we accept his word and are changed by grace

This is where grace is found Gods grace that teaches us

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That is to be saved by grace through faith , when we stop rejecting the teachings of Christ that teach us those things . Grace is not to quote a verse saying “ saved by grace “ d certainly isn’t to reject the word of Jesus Christ that teaches us to repent and live right that’s where grace is given and received

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Grace isn’t to reject Gods word it’s to accept it and be saved

Yes, we grow in knowledge of righteousness. Nothing threatens our eternal security.
we have a choice

“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:

but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:12-

those don’t lead to equal outcomes to clarify the flesh he’s talking about

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:19-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we can’t keep living as satans servants that’s what sin is satans Will and it leads to death not eternal life

it’s in the acceptance of truth that we find freedom and strength

sure he said that let’s read it together

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:27-30‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus is saying those who are mine will hear my word and follow after me and I give to them eternal life and they won’t perish ….

he isn’t saying “ whether they hear my word or not and whether they follow me or not ….. so I concur tone that hears and believes the gospel and follows after Jesus will be saved that’s basically my entire faith

He said that verse and he said everything else written in the gospel also it isn’t “ fiddling with the word” to acknolwedge that it’s just accepting the word to do that

Jesus made conditions on everything he promised and told man believe me and be saved the condition there is that we hear his word and follow ( we’re his disciples ) they are th safe ones that shall be saved but this doesn’t cover the ones who refuse to hear his word and follow

what you said is true if we stick with Jesus and the gospel nothin B and no one can ever take us from him but we can always freely walk away also it’s up to us to continue on in faith

2 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
The church at Corinth consisted of unbelievers, newborn believers, carnal believers, and mature believers. When all the church was gathered, Paul taught the basics ... the Gospel, which is where the life of the believer in Christ begins.

The milk of the Word was taught in the general congregation.

However, with the more mature believers, Paul taught the meat of God's Word, part of which consisted of the mystery, the hidden wisdom which the unbelievers and newborn believers were not ready to digest ... they would not understand.

1 Corinthians 2:

6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect [Greek teleios = full grown, adult, of full age, mature]: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory

Paul continues to speak of more weighty matters through the end of chapter 2.

Paul then reverts back to speaking to unbelievers, newborn believers, and carnal believers in 1 Cor 3:

1 Corinthians 3:

1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

You think Paul referred to them that are perfect [Greek teleios = full grown, adult, of full age, mature] as "carnal" or "babes in Christ" and told them they were "not able to bear" the meat of God's Word ... after he just got through telling us that they had discussed spiritual matters that God had hid from the foundation of the world???

Quit trying to align Scripture with your erroneous dogma. You are to align your dogma to Scripture and where you are in error, let go of the error ... don't cleave to the error in your futile attempt to manipulate God's Word to fit your error.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
