Why not
start a new thread when a new topic comes along, you are now 30+ pages into a topic
that has little or no premise. Again, no root, thus no growth..
this thread is about the heresy of perfectionism.
i don't care if it ends up 50 pages or 500 pages long.

the premise is that believing this heresy CAUSES no growth, in fact causes DELUSION.

if you want to discuss gospels that are other than justification by grace through faith, or if you don't like calvin or sproul, start another thread.

if you think sporul is wrong and i am wrong for agreeing with him that we are not made perfect in this life, prove it from scripture. if you agree with the new breed, the manifest sons of god, say so.

I know. I just got tired of clarifying. I'm more of a big picture type. LOL. I'll leave the details to folks who like that sort of thing.

True, but i was his age once and i understand him perfectly.
Its not something you say to someone repeatedly. But it
must be said. And its for his good, although now it may be rejected.
Consumed you and abiding are exactly the same. you jump on anyone that opposes your cult leader Zone, and mask it with piety. Neither of you are any better than her. You all are out to devour God's true flock.

You speak much about love and grace, but you show none.

If you are not trying to justify your sins, then why continue? The bible makes it clear that it is possible to stop sinning and in fact, we are commanded to stop sinning. Lets get this straight, we all deserve hell. All our good works are filthy rags

"The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:" 1 Peter 3:21

It is not the putting away of our sins that saves us, it is the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, but if we do not put away and repent of our sins, we are liars and the truth is not in us.

Good word bro, I have use the hand in glove analogy, you might like it.

The glove can do nothing in or of itself, but when the hand is in the glove, the glove can do everything the hand can do, although it is really the hand doing it.

The glove is us, and the hand is Christ.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:

Your right Paul had no idea what he was talking about, and the epistles need to be thrown out of the Bible

Sheesh, some people .smh

P.S. no body is claiming we are now God

That is so messed up coming from someone who believes that the Holy Spirit no longer speaks to and through people.

you keep moving your lips but nothing's coming out.
go study.
I would tell you to do the same, but it would do you no good as you have already hardened your heart becoming reprobate.

You could prove just about anything you want with scripture. Satan himself uses scripture.

Jesus says My sheep hear my voice and another they will not follow. Thats me. A sheep. When Jesus talks about the "little ones" I always think He is talking about me. The Lord is my Shepherd. Are you sure you should try to attain your own Shepherdhood? Are you sure you should depose Jesus? Should you be teaching others to do this as well? If you teach people that they can or have attained perfection why do they still need Jesus?

When I first got saved I thought I was perfect. What a disappointment when I found out I wasn't. I questioned my salvation. Was I really saved? Did the Holy Spirit reject me? Well I was pretty stubborn so I didn't give up that easy. I decided to start again. I figured if the Lord saved me once maybe He would do it again. Sure enough. The Lord is Faithful.

What if someone listens to you and finds out that they aren't perfect anymore and is not as stubborn as I am? What if they think they have lost their salvation? What would God say to you if you were in front of Him and you were accused of convincing someone that they had lost their salvation? Just things to think about. We have influence and power sometimes even when we don't know it. Wouldn't it be better to give people confidence in the Lord and how much He loves us and How Faithful He is? I think so.

We will attain perfection one day. I know it. But I don't think its gonna be this side of Paradise.

God Bless You

It is all good. I know that everything that Satan says is a lie. So when he uses Zone to tell me I am not spiritual, it only confirms to me that I am walking in the Spirit
