I find a good dose of perspective usually takes the sting out. The world can only bring pressure from the things of the world. If you don't care about all that, you don't feel a lot of pressure. What do you do when the enemy of your soul turns up the pressure. All the things satan can bring to turn up the pressure involve threat of losing - losing money, losing health, losing peer approval, losing all the things of this world. But if you keep in mind all those things will be lost anyway, it's a lot easier to focus on the things you won't lose when you die.
Pressure don't mean much when you ain't in the pressure cooker.
But the Bible does say it is appointed unto a man once to die.why does any counsel regarding "things you won't lose when you die." when death is not the only outcome,
The Lord has not spoken to me saying, "Ye shall surely die."
That's not even what we're talking about in this thread. This thread is about pressure the world brings against you. The pressure you're talking about is a different pressure from a different source, and not relevant to this discussion. The pressure? There is pressure when one loves all - and understands that the loss of life will be great. The pressure is this:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Howdy Yaacov and welcome to the forum.
Um... I'm not quite sure what you are going on about. It's hard to sort out the statements and questions from all the florid prose in between.

Wot ye well, I can verily parse what thou sayest. Marry, methinks I could do far better in such dialect than even thyself.Beloved,
if thou canst not understand the words spoken, what manner of judgement is this:
I have heard of this before: A diarrhea of words with a constipation of ideas.
is it not written:
Adonai:
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
If then ye rquire an interpreter, why sayest thou "...diarrhea of words with a constipation of ideas."
The Lord Jesus of Nazareth, the only begotten Son of the true and living God, be magnified.
it is highly important to know what mood you are in which frames your reaction to temptation. 1st, place yourself in the proper mood. for me, it's comedy. why? because laughing, jokes & anything of the sort is perennially, a cheerful mood. so, at time of temptation & after, i'm in that mood. i laugh at the devil & say, "devil, you and all your about, get out"!!! (in the name of Jesus, by course). when he keeps coming back, & he will, i just repeat it & soon enough, he's gone. constantly embed in your head a new conditioning that dominates temptation. with your own assistance & Jesus' help, you'll get there. add verses also, to the issue. 1st peter 5:7, Romans 6:12, 2nd Corinthians 5:17, 1st Corinthians 10:13. think about it, if you are in a somber dull mood of any sort, your likely to remain "in" the problem instead of "thru" the problem!!!What do you do when the enemy of your soul turns up the pressure.
