PROPHECY-- EYES WIDE SHUT

Matthew 15:8-9 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

My son, My children think their eyes are wide open. They think that by attending a service in a building they are serving Me. However, their eyes are NOT WIDE OPEN - but their eyes are WIDE SHUT. They are BLIND to the sin that dwells in their midst. They know the times they are living in are not good times, but because their eyes are SHUT and they SEE NOT, the sin and gross darkness eludes them. My son, many attend these services that are taught by men the lies of man. They say with their mouths they know Me and they know the truth of My Word. However, these men teach heresies and lies based upon man's interpretation of My Word. They do not seek Me nor the Holy Spirit when instructing My children in the truth. They use man-made, cookie-cutter sermonettes from men who do not know Me. GREAT DECEPTION IS NOW IN THE HOUSE, AND MANY, MANY WILL FALL AWAY WHEN THE PRESSURES OF THE TRIBULATION INCREASE. My son, men have allowed every foul demon to come into My sanctuary to pollute the truth of My Word with the lies of satan - to call it love - when it is sin and is an abomination to Me. OPEN YOUR EYES, MY CHILDREN! OPEN YOUR MOUTHS AND CRY - REPENT! REPENT NOW! FOR THE SINS ARE GREAT, AND YOUR EYES ARE WIDE SHUT! DO YOU NOT KNOW the times spoken of in My Word are now upon you? DO YOU NOT SEE the darkness that is encompassing the world is now greater than in the days of Noah? I SAID - BE NOT DECEIVED - YET YOU ARE ALL DECEIVED. Let's consider the church and full time workers as described in the New Testament.

1. Do we know of any full time workers that were supported by the members of the congregation?

So yes, there is a basis for priests to be supported, there is a basis for missionaries to be supported, but my question is not that, my question is do we know of any who were supported?

Paul said he did not use this and later explained he supported his ministry as a tent maker. We can assume that Peter never went back to being a professional fisherman, but do we really know that he was supported? James was the leader among those in Jerusalem and if anyone was supported we would think he was, but I am not aware of that being stated anywhere in the NT.

But we are told by the Lord that the kingdom is like a mustard plant (a herb) growing into a great tree with the birds (the ones that steal the word from the believers) roosting in the branches. My understanding is that the church is not supposed to be some great edifice with a billion dollar trust fund like the Episcopal church in NYC. My understanding is that it is supposed to be like a mustard plant. It repels birds, it doesn't give them a roost. The entire plant is good for food. The Lord never said that were two or three thousand gather together in my name there am I in their midst. All you need is a handful of believers. The main example given to us in the NT is of a man who supported himself while he also taught the Bible. He wrote books, but he didn't sell them, he gave them away for free. People copied them and sent them to others.

I am not condemning someone who is paid clergy or who has published books and lives off their books. What I am saying is that we should not think of that as the standard, on the contrary Paul is the standard. I look at others like Hudson Taylor and George Mueller and I see them walking by faith. The problem I see with Christianity is that it has become a place for evil birds to roost. After the Catholic church was exposed and many other televangelists were exposed, it seems beyond any reasonable doubt that this is the case. Now we have Vicky Goforth Parnel, and Stan, and U B Ready all giving us the word that this is the case and the judgment has been announced.

Because they forsook the Lord God of their fathers

19 But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; 20 Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations. 21 And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus unto this land, and unto this house? 22 And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.

We have received numerous warnings from dozens of prophets and prophecies, both from the Bible and from dreams and visions that judgment has come upon the "house of worship".

The apostate churches have turned away from the Bible, from the statutes and commandments in the Bible. It is clear to all that the US has gone and served other gods, we see this repeatedly at the Superbowl, at the grammies, at many, many events.

Now we have heard the following warning repeatedly:

this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations

It was given to us in our covenant. They have cast the Bible and the name of Jesus out of their sight, they have tried to make Evangelical christians a byword among all nations. As you have done it will be done unto you.

The same can be said of the US. When we were a godly nation, a charitable nation, a nation trying build up and heal you would never have had enemies coming against us. They would never have gotten allies with them and all the nations individually were too poor and weak to even think of attacking the US. But now, Venezuela and Saudi Arabia (the two biggest oil reserves in the world) both hate the US. Russia is at war with the US (one of the biggest military and nuclear powers in the world), Iran and N. Korea both hate the US. China is in an economic battle and they realize that Taiwan is more important to them than the US. With Taiwan China can rule the world's economy, the US is their biggest customer but also the biggest thorn in their side. Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, these countries all hate the US and will gladly ally with Iran and Russia. The alliance between Iran and Saudi Arabia should scare the US, it is proof the US petrodollar is finished.

The same thing happened to the US after NAFTA, our shields of gold were replaced with shields of brass. We used to be the wealthiest nation on Earth, we gave and did not borrow, but once our manufacturing base was taken away our only shield was our military. Our debt has continuously gone up and up and up. There is a fallacy, people think it is not so bad to have debt equal to your GDP, after all if you buy a 500k house with a 300k mortgage that is debt greater than your GDP. The difference is you don't really have debt because your assets = your debt. Does the US have any asset they could sell worth $32 trillion? No, the comparison is a guy making 100k a year having 300k in credit card debt. Or you could compare our situation to the situation during the Louisiana purchase, only we are now the french. We could sell off California, Oregon, Washington state and Alaska to pay off our bills.

Hebrews 11:1-20 -- Who will be raptured? We will remember their words.

1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

We are hoping to be raptured in the first rapture, or as the Jewish custom is, we are hoping that our names would be written in the book of life. If you want some confidence and assurance about this you need to pray for faith. Remember, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

2 This is what the ancients were commended for.

Sometimes it is absolutely stunning what some people will say and do. The arrogance and gall is incredible. But no one is commended for that and ten years later they are exposed as liars and frauds, and no one cares. But people with faith, people like Abraham, Paul, Peter, and Jesus, we remember their words thousands of years later.

3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

This is a very important and fundamental lesson in science. We could not figure out the mysteries of the universe until we were able to see the things that are unseen. No one can explain what an electron is. I teach Chemistry and my students are surprised when I tell them I don’t know what an electron is. I then tell them what we know and then they too will answer when I ask what is an electron: “I don’t know”. However, even though that is true we can do amazing chemistry and make all kinds of substances because we understand that the electrons are critical in telling us how they will all fit together. Every day scientists make things that you can see out of things you can’t. If we do this in a shadow, then surely the reality is that God has made what is visible out of what is not visible.

4 By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.

Think about that, how powerful is faith. If your words have faith they don’t die just because you do. Today, thousands of years later, we have people all over the globe examining the words of the apostles and prophets and discovering new things every day.

5 By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

Enoch is an excellent example. He is a man of faith, he was a type of those who were raptured, and his prophecy is commended as being divinely inspired by many of the New Testament writers. His words still live today.

6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

If you hope to be raptured then surely you must please God and without faith that is impossible. There are three things you must believe in order to come to God. You have to believe that He exists and He rewards those who seek Him. Finally, you have to believe the Lord’s word that no one comes unto the Father but by the Lord Jesus.

7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

There are many aspects to the gospel of salvation. The very term “salvation” implies there is something to be saved from which is a sinful world. The act of receiving the gospel and obeying the Lord’s commands condemns the world. You aren’t trying to condemn anyone, but they are condemned for refusing to receive the warning. That implies they have heard the same warning as you and rejected it. So you can see how all of humanity is split by this one matter of faith. Some receive the warning by faith, others reject the warning because they are faithless. The rapture is about taking those that please the Lord, those who have faith, received the warning and obeyed the Lord’s commands.

8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

We have had many smaller experiences of this, but in the grand scheme of things, we obey the Lord’s words and follow Him and ultimately this will include the rapture, where we will be going to a place where we don’t know. We don’t know where it is and we don’t know how to get there.

9 By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise.

Living in tents is a big deal to God. The feast of tabernacles celebrates this every year. It gives you a feeling of confidence to know that you could survive in the wilderness.

10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

They talk about people pulling themselves up by their bootstraps. If you live on the land in a tent while you build the city, that is a great heritage. You are imitating God who called not being as being.

11 And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise. 12 And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.

How remarkable is it that the Jewish people can trace their lineage back all the way to Abraham. People do not forget faith and they don’t forget men of faith.

13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. 14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15 If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Once again, those who are raptured are those that God is not ashamed of to be called their God. We have been looking for a country of our own and have no interest in returning to the world we left behind when we were baptized.

17 By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, 18 even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” 19 Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.

This is the big test. Will you sacrifice everything to obey the Lord’s speaking?

20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.

Can you do everything by faith? Many look at this story as being a story of Jacob deceiving Isaac, yet God tells us he blessed him by faith.

Therefore...

"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain" 1Corinthians 15:58

1Corinthians 15 is on the gospel wherein we stand (v1), it focuses on the resurrection of Jesus from the dead where the intense battle was over this truth (v.12-20), this in turn leads to Christ's resurrection being the firstfruits from the dead and how this age of grace is when Jesus will put every enemy under His feet including death. (v21-41) and that in turn leads to the resurrection of the dead (v.42-50), and this in turn leads to Paul showing us a mystery (51-57), the rapture. That is the context of this word "therefore". We believe these things, therefore. We hope in these things, therefore.

1. Be steadfast -- this word is derived from the word for sit, so it indicates being "settled". Settle it in your mind that you will put your full trust in Jesus who rose from the dead and in the word of God and in the apostle's fellowship. We know the surface of the water (peoples) will be choppy, full of waves and wind and be unsettled. We are not bouncing along on the surface with the winds and waves, we are cutting through the waves and have some serious ballast in the boat.

2. immovable -- it is amazing to me how these big, powerful, multinational corporations are not immovable. MLB moved the allstar game from Atlanta to Denver in response to BLM? That was idiotic. They harm the black community in Atlanta, benefit the white community in Denver all for an organization that had no credibility and has since been revealed to be frauds. CNN, Annheuser Busch, Target have all likewise shown themselves to be quick to respond to the wind and the waves of wokeness. The same temptation is on churches and Christians. They were not immovable when it comes to God's word. In football I was taught to fight the pressure, if they are trying to push you somewhere don't go. This is also true in the spiritual realm. The LGBTQ+ community is trying to push you, be immovable. The apostate church is trying to push you to drop the Bible, be immovable.

3. Always abounding in the work of the Lord -- Being a christian does not mean you are a spectator. You are supposed to be on the field, involved in the work of the Lord. What does that mean? Well it might mean sharing the word of God with others, it might mean preaching the gospel, it might mean serving at a soup kitchen, it could mean a variety of things. But one thing is for sure, if someone asks what you are doing the response would be "the work of the Lord" and their response would not be quizzical as though that doesn't make any sense. Is going to a professional sporting event as a spectator truly "abounding in the work of the Lord"? Is going to a movie "abounding in the work of the Lord?" It might be. There was a movie out about the election fraud and the only way they could get it into theaters is if people bought their tickets ahead of time. I went to that and the theater was packed, every seat taken. It was like going to a church revival service. July 4th there is another movie like this concerning child trafficking and I have bought tickets for that. So abounding in the work of the Lord could be supporting other ministries.

Our labor is not in vain. When we hand out bibles with the Gideon's we know that we have a promise that "God's word will not return void". In the same way if you are testifying of the Lord, serving the Lord or speaking for the Lord we have the promise that this also will not be in vain.

When Facebook suspended me for posting concerning the Bible I deleted my account. That was my being "immovable". Zuckerberg does not get to tell me to not share about the Lord. At the time I was "nothing" and Facebook was a behemoth. But I believe it was not in vain that I deleted that account.

I am reminded of a story a brother told me. He was in the petrified forest, he knew all the trees and wood had been petrified. Even so he saw a small stick on the path and kicked it. He just about broke his toe. Compared to Zuckerberg I was that small stick. But if you have been reconstituted with the gospel of Jesus Christ even Zuckerberg better think twice before trying to kick you.
