No; prophecy is the Holy Spirit giving you a message for another person or a group of people, not speaking to you about your own situation.
No.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Maybe ask yourself what that means.
Every Christian has the God given right to prophecy

Corinthians 14:5
I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy

Everybody means everybody.

Look at the story of moses

Moses was burdened by having all the troubles of all the people of Isreal on his shoulders

He was so burdened he said to God I would rather you kill me.

So God said I will place the spirit upon 70 people to ease your burdens.

As soon as the spirit was upon the chosen 70 people they began to prophesize

This is a pure indication that anyone who reçieves the spirit also prophecies

It's also a 100 percent indication that prophecy is a manifestation of the holy spirit 🙂

I think you need some personal prophecy in the form of personal Discernment then 😋

Have you ever tried a cold shower.

It works wonders for your breathing.

The trick is you have to start to the shower so it trickles out.
Just put your head under first then ease your shoulders in

Then after a few minutes turn it on full.

But if you feeling brave get an involve booster 🙂

And stay in for 15 mins everyday

Doctors orders for you 🙂

You'll be surprised how much your breathing and relaxation will improve after just a few weeks. 🍺🍺🍺☕☕ Cheers 🙂
I have had a few cold showers but really can't recommend it. I have found that as I get older I appreciate warmth. Took a hot shower this morning.

Discernment is something every single Christian should have in their spiritual arsenal.
It helps when you are reading scripture and try to apply what you read to how you live your life and treat others.

Sheesh was it your family who worked you to hard
Or your Job.
I hope your not that bad.
I have had an interesting work life. Currently, semi-retired, work 4 days a week, probably get it down to 3 day a week by the end of the year. No, my family did not work me too hard, but I have worked hard to take care of my family. Still in fairly good health and quite mobile. Occasional aches and pains but that is to be expected as you get older. It's not so bad if you think about it. No complaints or regrets.

You two both seem nice @The_Watchers_2017 and @Karlon

The Gift of Discernment is many times the Holy Spirit alerting to us beware of either what's being said, maybe a situation is at hand, who knows but the Spirit of God will let you know and once you understand it is the Holy Spirit, you can set the clock and bank on it happening as the Spirit warns.
I came across some studies in scripture, and where you see phrases like desire the gift of prophecy in the kjv

The word Gift is in italics which means its been added, the word Gift is not in the Greek texts or Hebrew or Aramaic.

The studies suggest the texts in the kjv suggest it should translate as have spiritual things and especially desire prophecy.

But in the kjv it translates especially desire the gift of prophecy.

In the Greek texts it translates as have spiritual things and desire prophecy no gift is mentioned.

The source then states if was translated correctly a Christian would realise that actually prophesy isn't a gift at all but a manifestation of the holy spirit.

Seems like you have travelled down a rough patch of road. I read once that what does not kill you will make you stronger. I believe that there is an element of truth to that saying. Seems to be true in your case.

Every Christian has the God given right to prophecy

Corinthians 14:5
I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy

Everybody means everybody.
It’s not a “right”; that’s just the wrong concept completely. Prophecy is a gift given to some, not to all (see 1 Cor. 12:29 in context).

Look at the story of moses
… As soon as the spirit was upon the chosen 70 people they began to prophesize

This is a pure indication that anyone who reçieves the spirit also prophecies
The case of the 70 elders does not indicate anything of the sort; rather, it is a narrative passage which does not teach that concept but only informs what did happen in that situation.

It's also a 100 percent indication that prophecy is a manifestation of the holy spirit
Which we already knew from other passages.

Please, learn the correct words. “Prophesize” is not a word at all. “Prophecy” is a noun, and “prophesy” is a verb. One who employs this gift “prophesies”. Several such words together would be “prophecies”.

I think you don't see God given right as inherited.

You may have seen it as demanding.

However I have now found evidence that actually prophecy is not a gift at all, it's a manifestation of the holy spirit 😊

The reality is Christians like your self don't realise prophets of the old only had the holy spirit in part, where as Christian have the holy spirit in full,

Christians as result of poor translation in the kjv and niv have been mislead in to not knowing prophecy is a manifestation of the holy spirit 😊

No, it's simply the wrong word. "Rights" in the sense of God-given inalienable authority-based privileges, are mentioned only once (that I'm aware offhand), in John 1:12...

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

Gifts of the Spirit are not "rights" in the same sense... at all. I don't have the "right" to prophesy; I may have the gift but I may not, as Paul makes clear in 1 Corinthians 12:29.

However I have now found evidence that actually prophecy is not a gift at all, it's a manifestation of the holy spirit 😊
You really should read more carefully. They are called both gifts and manifestations, not one or the other.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. 7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.

The reality is Christians like your self don't realise prophets of the old only had the holy spirit in part, where as Christian have the holy spirit in full,
It's rather arrogant for you to think that I didn't know that. To be blunt, you don't know jack about me. Don't pretend otherwise, and don't make unwarranted assumptions.

Christians as result of poor translation in the kjv and niv have been mislead in to not knowing prophecy is a manifestation of the holy spirit 😊
Um, no. See above.
