If you search online a lot of people say it is prohibited, however I also read it okay to warm up foods in the microwave.... I'm curious if we can use the microwave or not... What do you guys do and eat on the sabbath??? Any input?🤔

You can nothing on the sabbath. Quit breathing, that is work. Eating requires chewing, that is effort. Just stay in bed for a day. You might get away with it. If not, you have sinned. You will have to go to the temple to offer a sacrifice. Just don't go on the sabbath.

That depends entirely on whether you are a Christian or a Jew attempting to live by the Law.

If the former, yes, of course it's okay to use a microwave. Jesus is the Sabbath; the day is merely a shadow.

If the latter, you have bigger problems. Put your trust in Jesus Christ for salvation.

Nope your servants(light company, water company ect.) are suppose to rest also so you need to turn the lights and water off before Friday at sundown and then get them to turn them back on Monday morning. https://biblehub.com/interlinear/deuteronomy/5-14.htm

Matthew 12:8(KJV) For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
Mark 2:27(KJV) And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
Friend you can use the microwave. The believer of Jesus and the gospel is not bond but free to exercise dominion and triumph in Christ .

It's lawful to do good on the Sabbath, so as long as what you're cooking is to feed the poor and needy you're okay.

One man will esteem one day over another while anoterh esteems all days the same. Both are correct as long as they believe how they observe the day.
I observe the Seventh Day as the day of rest. Rest does not mean I go through any rituals, I simply believe the Seventh day is always the day of rest given me by the Father, Himself, and I do not wish to act as though I disdain His gift to use.
The Father does not lie, so if He says it is always to be so, it IS. Who is man to change what the Father has established, and?

Sabbath keeping (with all it's rules and regulations) was part of a covenant with Israel (Exodus 16:23, 29; 31:12-18; 35:1-3; Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3, 32; Numbers 15:32-36; 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13; Amos 8:5; Nehemiah 10:31) that is not binding on Christians under the new covenant. (Colossians 2:16-17)

You can cook and use the microwave on the sabbath.

The sabbath keepers like the SDAs and the rest of them arent ACTUALLY keeping the sabbath though. They are pretending to do so, but biblically speaking, they are not doing it. There are many regulations for keeping the sabbath, not just "resting" on a particular day. And the rest pertains not only to you, but to people in your city, your animals, etc.

Remember this phrase: Its the NEW COVENANT or NO COVENANT

I think the microwave is ok but electric can openers are not so I hope you have frozen food, or a manual can opener.

I just used an electric can opener less than 30 minutes ago. I do have a manual can opener but neglected to use it. My bad, per usual.

Regarding the word "Remember', the 4th Commandment pertaining to keeping holy the Sabbath is the only commandment that has the word 'Remember' in it.

Sabbath keepers like the SDA go to some lengths or even great lengths to comply based on their understanding or perception. Maybe they are misguided, or maybe not. I cannot find scripture that abolishes the 10 Commandments. For the record I do not keep the Sabbath, but maybe that's to my detriment. To me, the Sabbath seems to be a complex subject.

Either I am not spiritually discerned in this particular area or maybe I just don't really want to understand it, less I would be compelled to comply.
