Meatloaf that Haters Can Love

Ingredients:

Saute 1 medium onion, minced, in butter

1 large bowl mix 1/2 cup Pepperidge farm stuffing, and

1/2 cup beef bouillon. Add onion, 1 pound ground beef,

4 sprigs parsley or 1-2 tsps dried parsley,

3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese,

1 slightly beaten egg,

1 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.

Blend. Form into loaf in greased baking pan.

Bake 45 minutes at 375 degrees, sprinkle with Oregono, then bake an additional 20 minutes until done.

...and that's all I've got to say about that.
You lost me at ‘Pepperidge Farm’. 😕

I love blue cheese crumbles on a burger. Just that, or add red onions and/or bacon. Eating blue cheese straight is pretty intense... lol
I prefer not to have the sensation of my food crawling in my mouth... (that is what it's like eating blue cheese for me)...

Yeah. That. Even ritz crackers would be better.

Shoot, even saltines would be better.

Hey Everyone!

We're back in business! :)

In Mingle Threads #3 and #4, we came up with a whole bunch of ideas of what to trade @Talljake for his Granny's baked goods... Which inevitably led to this conversation:

Now it's a not-so-well guarded secret that meatloaf has long been one of THE most divisive topics here in the Singles Forum!!

In fact, one of our long-time regulars has apparently been irreversibly scarred by the on-going feud:

Unfortunately, it appears our happy little meatloaf-hating band has sadly been infiltrated, and if something isn't done soon, it looks like meatloaf is going to be on the menu for a long, long time:

And everyone knows how I feel about that!

Quick!!!

Join us in The Fight Against Meatloaf and let's help keep this loathsome dish forever boycotted in the Singles Forum!

Be sure to answer the poll and tell us more about your choices in a post! (All answers are publicly visible and you can check as many answers as you want.) The poll answers are just meant for fun -- feel free to add anything you don't see on the list, but would have liked to!

Help Keep the Singles Forum a Meatloaf-Free Zone yet again!!!

Spam is cream of chitlins in a can.

Hot dogs are cream of chitlins in a tube.

Bologna is sliced cream of chitlins in a tube.

Either way, might as well be eating Vienna sausages.

The meatloaf haters will be eating plant-based vegan burgers. Save the meatloaf for we who can appreciate it.

Up here in northern Norway eating vegan burgers will get you chased out of town, so I wouldn’t wish such atrocities upon anybody.😂

-Now, young lady! Eat your greens!
