We know it won't be all about worshiping Jesus or GOD,
No. We don't know that at all.

EVERYTHING we do will be about worshipping and glorifying God. Doesn't mean we will sit around all day singing praises, just that EVERYTHING we do will be by His Will. Doing His Will IS worship.

AS for sex in heaven? I don't know. It seems unlikely to me. Since there is NO marriage in Heaven, you'd have to believe God is cool with going around and having sex with everyone.

Also, it's unlikely we would even have a sex drive at all. since that is God ordained and designed for procreation.

But no eye has seen, nor mind imagined what God has prepared for us. I'm thinking it probably isn't sex, but something MUCH better.

If you're going to use the idea of brothers and sisters in Christ, than Christians should never get married. That's incest. Marriage will not apply in heaven. You will not have a spouse in heaven. Marriage was to set restrictions for sex on EARTH. There will be male and females in heaven. What good are genitals in heaven if there is no sex?
Actually, scripture commands us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Incest is physical, not spiritual. Scripture is also clear that there is no marriage in heaven. Remember, biblical marriage is the physical act not a ceremony.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Mankind is the pinnacle of God's creation...and created to do two tasks: live and work. (Gardening and subsequently farming)

And now we get to add another element to the real world of Heaven which is timelessness. (As opposed to this temporary world scheduled for demolition)

Much like there is a huge difference between a line of code in a computer and human beings so is the difference going to be between our lives in heaven versus what we live in here.
There will be perfect efficiency in Heaven....meaning that there never will be any waste. (No toilets or sewer or handwashing)

A new world...completely different set of rules. So don't get caught up in designated professions or tasks for when you get there.

I like to think there will be many pleasures in heaven. We know it won't be all about worshiping Jesus or GOD, We will eat and drink, have jobs and homes.

you can always try hell and see if that's better LOL. maybe there will be sex parties there.

It has gotten to the point where I am afraid to address your posts without fear of getting banned.
 I noticed you had been away for a while.
Is that why I hadn't seen you around?

open threads started by JohnB; for I have realized that no matter what the thread is titled it will always somehow end up being about sex
I don't even know how I ended up in this one 🤷

You would think that at his age he could find something better to do....

Christians like you only see sex as being evil. You never see sex as becoming one with the other person or its benefits to a person.

Jesus said there was no marriage in heaven, he didn't say there was no sex. GOD created sex and so many of you want to ban it in heaven. You have a very narrow view of what heaven will be like.

In heaven, we will no longer have a physical body; we will have a spiritual body. …And so, there will be no marriage and no sex in heaven.
Jesus told Thomas, "touch me and see. A spirit does not have flesh and bone"

The Bible is clear:

Mark 12:25
When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.
Nothing in the bible says they don't procreate. That is something man has made up. Genesis 6 says the Sons of God were attracted to the daughter of MEN....it's not the daughters of Seth, it's the daughters of men.

JohnB is completely obsessed with sex; it's all he thinks about. He's never going to change; if people are sick of his sex, sex, sex all the time, in his mind it's their problem not his.

My only question is how long is this going to be allowed to continue. What's the spiritual benefit from it? How does sex in heaven or whether Adam and Eve had sex before the fall contribute to anyone having a closer walk with Christ? When does it stop being a subject of Biblical relevancy and become perverted and inappropriate?

You completely neglected the points about how sex would even operate.

Since there is NO marriage, are you saying God would allow/arrange for you to have sexual intercourse with potentially millions of different people? You actually think this is what Heaven will be like? One big orgy?

Ya know, there is ANOTHER religion that tells it's adherents that 72 virgins await them in Heaven.

Or would you have ONE person, that wouldn't be called your wife, but maybe Heavenly significant other/domestic partner?

It's foolishness John.

Why would they have sex outside of marriage then? And with who?

Lets try this AGAIN, there is no marriage in heaven. Jesus said there is no marriage, he did not say there is no sex. You and others are the ones putting in that restriction.

Have you been to heaven? Again, you're applying laws meant for the earth to what happens in heaven, a place you have never seen or been to.

John, the Scriptures make it clear that sex outside of marriage is sin... does it not?
So where are you going with this?

Than you have never read the Song of Solomon. There's a whole book about lovemaking between a man and a woman. When GOD said "The two shall become one flesh" that was BEFORE any mention of children.
it's about Earth.

nowhere in that Scroll is Heaven mentioned in relationship to human pleasure.

Your THREAD, the TITLE, you created, is about HEAVEN. and the argument you present is [[ONLY]] about Earth.

where in the world did you ever think God adopts things on Earth for His Heavenly Kingdom?
in fact, that is literally the very opposite and backwards thinking of literal Reality.

get over it, no "SEX" in Heaven!

I think its a natural conclusion to draw. What purpose would sex serve in heaven?
