Raised again for our Justification !3
A proper understanding of this Truth in Rom 4:25 gives this reasonable conclusion, that those sinners Christ died for, the Elect of God, prior to faith, repentance or conversion, they are reconciled to God and totally Justified before Him .Now this can't be said of all men without exception, for some without faith are condemned already Jn3:18.

 ... ripping Romans 8:33-34 and Romans 4:25 from their context in order to prop up your "reasonable conclusion" is nothing but the sleight of men about which we are warned of God (Eph 4:14). I seem to recall that you accused someone of "Dishonesty by not quoting the context" of some statement you made ... but you continuously exhibit your "Dishonesty by not quoting the context" of verses you rip out of God's Word ...

Rom 8:33-34

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Romans 8:1 is key to understanding who is God's elect.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus

Because the Lord Jesus Christ is the Elect of God, those who are in Christ Jesus are the elect of God referred to in Rom 8:33 ... and a person is not in Christ Jesus until he or she has Christ in him or her (Col 1:27) ... iow a person does not have Christ in him or her until he or she is born again.

Rom 4:25 gives this reasonable conclusion, that those sinners Christ died for, the Elect of God, prior to faith, repentance or conversion, they are reconciled to God and totally Justified before Him .
what Scripture says ... God imputes righteousness when a person believes ... not "prior to":

Romans 4:

20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him [Abraham] for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it [righteousness]was imputed to him;

24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

5:1 Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

What the Lord Jesus Christ taught:

Mark 1:14-15Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

What Peter taught:

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord

Cameron143 ... I will continue to expose his erroneous dogma when brightfame52 submits his eisegesis and I will continue to point out contextual error when brightfame52 lifts verses from the context within which the Author of Scripture has placed them in his futile effort to align Scripture to his dogma.

... and because brightfame52 has no Scriptural foundation, he will continue to engage in fallacy as he posts his red herring responses and/or as he completely avoids the issue because his dogma cannot withstand the scrutiny of Scripture ... which is why his responses consist of "more unbelief" (or words to that effect) when believers here on CC submit Scripture which exposes his error.

it's sad because brightfame52 appears to spend time in pursuing his stated dogma ... yet the truth of Scripture eludes him.

it's irritating because if brightfame52 is really not interested in the truth of Scripture and he just trolls various sites ... (google "brightfame52" to see the numerous sites he visits to submit his erroneous dogma) ... God has something to say about that and none of it bodes well for brightfame52 ...

and then there are the members here who could be led astray by his erroneous dogma ... it's one thing when brightfame52 rejects the truth of Scripture ... and it's another thing when immature believers are led astray by the erroneous dogma of brightfame52 because there is no Scripture submitted in response to his dogma.

Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges indicates that Romans 16:17 warns believers "not to go as learners to the erring teachers" as opposed to not rebuking or correcting erroneous dogma.

2 Timothy 4:1-5 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Being Justified by the Death of Christ is foretold in the OT also !

Isa 53:11

1 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

The Many are Justified for whom He bare their sins, it agrees also with Roms 5:9,19 by His Obedience unto Death [in route to bearing their sins] shall many be made Righteous, or Justified.

In fact some translators renders Isa 53:11

Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. 24

Scripture is clear as to whom the Lord Jesus Christ "bare their sins":

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

 ... nope ... I showed you from Scripture that it was the whole world ... all descendants of Adam ... for whom the Lord Jesus Christ "bare their sins".

you keep suppressing the truth of Scripture. you need to ask God for wisdom – but you must ask in faith.

James 1:5-7 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

Justified before God apart from our faith/ believing !

This is a truth that carnal religion cant receive, because its a stranger to the Grace of God to sinners through Jesus Christ. However the Elect of God, those Chosen in Christ before the foundation, both old test and new test believers, were Justified before God, before faith, while ungodly in themselves, by the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. First of all, Christ came into the world on their behalf to fulfill all the Righteousness of the Law for them. Paul writes on that here Rom 8:3-4

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

In this He fulfilled the Law Matt 5:17

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Matt 3:15

15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

Now Christ the Surety Head of His Sheep, Church, Gods Elect has perfectly obeyed every command of Gods Perfect Holy Law, in deed, thoughts and speech, in that unto them, its counted as if they did it themselves, because its imputed to their credit as an free gift of Righteousness Rom 5:17

For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ)

Its an gift by imputation, God considers it so, thinks it so, deems it so, pronounces it so Solely upon the Active Law keeping Obedience to His Law by Christ in their place and stead !

Justified before God apart from our faith/ believing !2

Now not only did Jesus Christ provide the Elect a Justifying Righteousness which Honors every precept of Gods Moral Law Isa 42:12

21 The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

But He also for them subjected Himself unto the curse of the Law, hence paying their debt, and satisfying Gods Law and Justice on their behalf Gal 3:13

13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree

He redeemed us from the curse of the law, by being made a curse for us in His Death, So by that God has freely forgiven us and accepts us as Justified/Righteous Rom 3:24

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption[Gal 3:13] that is in Christ Jesus:

This redemptive Justification is apart from the redeemed believing it, or even knowing about it. They shall know about it one day in their lifetime when God is pleased to reveal it to them ! Hence the Just, redeemed shall live by Faith !

nope ... your premise is wholly without Scriptural merit. Throughout the whole of Scripture ... from Genesis to Revelation, God has established that He imputes righteousness to those who believe.

Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

Abel obtained witness that he was righteous when Abel brought his offering by faith ... read about that in Genesis 4.

In Romans 4:3, we read about God imputing righteousness to Abraham because Abraham believed in the Lord ... read about that in Genesis 15.

brightfame said:
Rom 5:17

Its an gift by imputation
Scripture tells us righteousness is imputed when a person believes.

Here are the verses in Romans chapter 4 in which the Greek word logizomai (which means "imputed") is used:

Romans 4:

3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted [Greek logizomai] unto him for righteousness.

4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned [Greek logizomai] of grace, but of debt.

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted [Greek logizomai] for righteousness.

6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth [Greek logizomai] righteousness without works,

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute [Greek logizomai] sin.

9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned [Greek logizomai] to Abraham for righteousness.

10 How was it [Greek logizomai] then reckoned [Greek logizomai]? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.

11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed [Greek logizomai] unto them also

22 And therefore it was imputed [Greek logizomai] to him for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed [Greek logizomai] to him

24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed [Greek logizomai] if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead

How many times does God have to tell you that He imputes righteousness to those who believe before you will believe that God imputes righteousness to those who believe???

And in Romans 5:17 ... your stated verse:

Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive [lambanō] abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

The words "they which receive" are translated from the Greek word lambanō which means actively lay hold of to take or receive," to lay hold by aggressively (actively) accepting what is available ... emphasizes the volition (assertiveness) of the receiver -
HELPS Word-studies.

you are totally out of gas with your claim that anyone was "Justified before God, before faith".

Rom 3:24

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption[Gal 3:13] that is in Christ Jesus:

This redemptive Justification is apart from the redeemed believing it, or even knowing about it. They shall know about it one day in their lifetime when God is pleased to reveal it to them ! Hence the Just, redeemed shall live by Faith !
Let's just take a look at Romans 3:24 and Galatians 3:13 without ripping the verses from the context within which the Author of Scripture has placed them:

Romans 3:

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

in context, Romans 3:24 tells us the gift of God's grace is bestowed upon those who believe ... those who do not suppress the truth in unrighteousness ... when God reveals His truth to them.

Those who suppress the truth in unrighteousness when God reveals truth to them do not benefit from God's grace ... they receive the consequence of their unbelief (Rom 1:18-32).

Galatians 3:

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

in context, Galatians 3:13 tells us that those who seek to be justified through keeping the law will never be justified because no man is justified by the law in the sight of God.

God never intended the law to be a means of justification.

God's intention was that the law reveal mankind's need for the Redeemer and that the promise is received through faith in the Redeemer.

Continue reading in Galatians 3 and in vs 24 we read Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

the purpose of the law was to bring mankind to the Lord Jesus Christ because it is through faith in Him ... our Redeemer ... that mankind is justified.

brightfame52 said:

totally incorrect ... a lie from the pit ...

brightfame52 said:
They shall know about it one day in their lifetime when God is pleased to reveal it to them ! Hence the Just, redeemed shall live by Faith !
 ... newsflash for ya, brightfame52 ... God reveals His truth and mankind either believes God's truth or suppresses God's truth in unrighteousness.

If a person believes when God reveals His truth to him or her, he or she receives the blessing God promises:

Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it [the gospel of Christ] is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

If a person suppresses the truth in unrighteousness when God reveals His truth to him or her, he or she receives the consequence of his or her decision to reject God's truth:

Romans 1:18-19 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold [Greek katechō = suppress, restrain] the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

nope ... your premise is wholly without Scriptural merit.

The words "they which receive" are translated from the Greek word lambanō which means actively lay hold of to take or receive," to lay hold by aggressively (actively) accepting what is available ... emphasizes the volition (assertiveness) of the receiver - HELPS Word-studies.

you are totally out of gas with your claim that anyone was "Justified before God, before faith".

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

More rejection of Truth, you cannot believe !
