John 19:28-30 After this, knowing that everything had now been accomplished, and to fulfill

He did all He could do through His last breath. He was fully obedient to the law in suffering a violent assault on His Person and body and being. The evil forces thought they had Him where they wanted Him and would be victorious over Him by killing Him.
The Father turned His apparent defeat into glorious victory over death by raising Him to Life again as was promised to Him in the Law for His obedience in giving His Life to save us. The Father's righteous judgments were demonstrated to all of creation through what His Son accomplished by His obedience and faith as a Man.

John 19:30 "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said,
"It is finished:" and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost.
When Jesus said, "It is finished," He was quoting from the final verse of Psalm 22, where the Greek word "finished" is the same as the Hebrew word "done." This verse implies that Jesus kept His head erect, until He laid down His life, as stated in John 10:18.
John 10:18 "No man taketh it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of My Father."

For the kingdom is the LORD's, And He rules over the nations. All the prosperous of the earth shall eat and worship; all those who go down to the dust Shall bow before Him, Even he who cannot keep himself alive. A posterity shall serve Him. It will be recounted of the Lord to the next generation, They will come and declare His righteousness to a people who will be born, that He has done this.

In order for the Son to complete His mission and purpose and assignment in obedience to His Father's commandments, He had to die. He is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
At the precise moment of His death and His last breath, He had fully obeyed the Law and fulfilled the Law. Then it was up to His Father to keep His promise/commandment to the Son that He would live and be raised to life again.
The Son had completed His obedience and given His full measure of devotion when He died in obedience to the Law and His Father in love for His Father and His neighbors who could not save themselves.
Finished, completed, fulfilled, accomplished, paid, performed, died, done. His part was complete. Then His prayers to be raised because of His obedience, as recorded in the Psalms were answered by His Father according to the promise of life in the Law to Him for doing it.
