I knew you w*rked for Micky D's but I thought it was more warehouse? And, every day? .

Not every day of the week of course. But every day that I am there, I am at the same place. Most employees get trained on every job. I've been at the grill every day since 2009.

Either I'm too dumb to train anywhere else or I do the grill so well they don't want to give up me being on the grill to put me somewhere else. But I say I'm a one trick pony and leave it at that.

A shared Happy Meal can be romantic though if you buy a large shake and put two straws in it.

Though your other half may start resenting you that they can only have half a meal or your leftovers.

I have thought hard about what was romantic about sunsets, or being up high.

I have walked up a mountain but it was very hard slog getting up there, and you dont really want to come down a mountain after sunset as you could fall over in the dark.

Also, since I live out west coming home from work with the sun going down I have to wear sunglasses, and going to work, with the sun coming up you get sunstrike heading the opposite direction.

I think looking at sunrises are better for me though especially on eastern beaches. Western beaches can be rough and wild, and driving in the dark after sunset is not romantic for me, or being in the car with someone after dark especially if they dont know where they are going or maybe had a drink or so. Its dangerous where I live.

Yeah, pretty much a thankless task. I admire anyone that works regardless of their position. I took a year off when we moved to Tennessee then decided the extra money will come in handy. Maybe in a couple years, by the grace of God, I will stop working for good. Will still work around the house though.

Outside the small town that I live in the roads are quite dangerous too. I would not even attempt to drive them in the dark.

I agree with you about attitude/position within the ranks. Another good thing about your job position is that it is
unlikely people come looking for a job there gunning for yours. I've had that happen to me a number of times over
the years and I can assure you it is no fun. A weird thing about it too is that they want my job and have zero
experience at it, but refuse to take direction from me when I have multiple decades of experience doing it.
Anywho, I am glad you finally found a job! I am happy to be back at work, too, after almost three years away...

Some days when I am not keen on going to work, I think, "Whose idea was this anyways???" .

But generally speaking, since I am only working three days a week and six hour days, it is quite doable...
and I have always enjoyed the job I do. My boss is also fairly flexible on which three days I work, and
that is great too, since some days I am really slow to get a move on, and then it occurs to me, ugh,
I just don't wanna go to work today. I will message my boss and he either okays it or says no, I need
you today, in which case I get that move on that was lacking before. LOL. And the money is good.
Jeepers, with the way the economy and inflation have gone, I'm gad for the extra income! .

Yeah, no, I partook of neither the shirt nor the shake. Nobody liked that shake. It WAY overstayed its welcome.

I dunno... At the END of the day?

I always imagined that if I ever got married, she and I should start each day with a long hug. At the end of the day I'd be asleep - I go to bed about 8pm, which is too early for most people, so we'd always be disagreeing about where the end and hug should be.

Icecream needs to be served in an edible cone because then there are no dishes wash afterwards.

Unless you have dishwasher, washing dishes is not particularly romantic, but it is clean.

I like squeezing lemon on the final rinse just for that squeaky clean sound, and putting them away instead of leaving there to sit for the next meal.

You will never know what someone will do in the house to clean or tidy up until you live or stay with them for three days.

I might try adding a lemon wedge to the dishwasher before I turn it on to get that squeaky, clean sound.
