Actually I have. And yeah it was nerve racking but honestly EVERYONE fears rejection. And fear's just a crutch. So if there's a guy I really like then I'll pray for the courage to put myself out there. And if he says no, it might hurt but I won't be destroyed.And on a lighter note, I've been told I'm too tall. :)
 
I was told by a guy that his parents thought i was to backward and didnt talk enough......... imagine that.

Not true. Every girl is different. Some equal nice guys to being really boring, and the bad boys as fun and exciting. I've heard that nice guys can be funny and not so boring, i have yet to prove this theory.
 
Ha ha ha. I was once told, "I'm not ready to date anyone right now," by a girl who started dating another guy a couple of weeks later. *sigh*
 
can't say I've heard that one. My friend's usually give legit reasons as to why they can't go out. "I've got no one to look after (child's name)"....."(Child's name) was sick all night, so I'm shattered, sorry"....... hehehe sorry.

I always say , 'The Lord leads,' and that's DEFINITELY letting Him lead. I would correct one thing though that you said (sorry, it's the analyst inside me. GET OUT! GET OUT ! :D ) . I think there would be a lot more happiness, joy, christian relationships included, IF guys had the guts to ask girls out all the time. There are enough girls out there just waiting.... my opine. Nothing more. Before you hit me, loveydove, make sure you look at my name :D

Lame excuses are good if you want to avoid drama from the guy/girl :p Ok, I was kidding....kind of.
Actually if I don't want to date a guy or I want to reject an invitation I like to be honest, but it also depends on the guy. There are some guys that prefer a lame excuse than a NO, I DONT WANT TO DATE YOU because then you are a ... I can't say the word here :).
 
That's why I ressurected it.

I once told a guy I couldn't go out cus I had PMS. Me PMSing isn't really that bad, I just didn't feel like being with him that day.

In high school the PMS was a free pass to the nursery (where you took a pill and then you could wander around the cafeteria). You could see a bunch of girls "PMSing" in the middle of math class. After the class finished, PMS was miraculously gone.:) I came to the conclusion that math causes PMS.
