physical jews are coming to Christ all of the time.
always have been.
just not the majority, yet.

but, it don't matter how you want to dissect the Jew, God LOVES Them, came to Them Personally, and left a Gospel specific to Them.
A gospel specific to them? Explain, please.

Not only did Jerome (374-420 A.D.) claim to have seen the Hebrew gospel, he said he had translated it and on several occasions he quoted from it (On Famous Men 2 & 3). Jerome confirmed, “the gospel in Hebrew letters which the Nazarenes use” (Against Pelagius III, 2), or “the gospel according to the Hebrews.” A much earlier writer, Papias, who was a disciple of John the apostle, stated that Matthew recorded the sayings of Jesus in Hebrew and everyone translated them as best he could (Eusebius, Ecclesiastical History III, 39, 16). It is quite possible that Papias’ “Matthew” is the same as Jerome’s Hebrew gospel.

The gospel according to the Hebrews

for almost 50 years, Jerome's job, was to gather and examine EVERY KNOWN copy that existed relating to our Bible. from Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, and to his own Latin, that was his sole life's duty.
and if JEROME, not only thought it VALUABLE to not just mention this Hebrew Gospel, but took the time to view (it) multiples times, translate it, and then the [[[[[[[TESTIMONIAL]]]]]]] of them ALL, QUOTED from IT, as if it came from JESUS HIMSELF, is ""extremely alarming"" how people claiming to be Followers of God [[could ever]] try to DENY IT!

The physical Jews had their chance and they blew it. They rejected and crucified their messiah, so now God gave the kingdom to the spiritual Jews (aka Christians). No longer being circumcised or of Jewish descendence makes any difference in people's salvation. Jesus condemned the Jewish Pharisees to hell.
So we are to obey those who are as the pharisees, condemned to hell?

Exactly. All authority is from God, but all authority has to be obeyed nonetheless.
No, definitely NOT, which is why the Bible tells us to obey ALL authority.
Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities.

That does not mean all authorities as you say. We do not follow Russian rulers, for instance.

The pope is to be called holy father by those who follow that system.

Jesus said call no man your father.

Yes, that's why Papists don't choose popes based on familial descendency like the priests did in the old covenant.
Actually, it's why they have no authority to choose. Just as Jesus chose Peter, He chose Paul. And He has chosen ever since.
The Papel line is not spiritual. That alone should tell you it wasn't chosen by Christ.

Oh, I see what you’re saying. ….but we must make it clear that there’s only one gospel.

The whole chapter describes the situation. 15-25 talks about more detail, and 22-24 talks about the specific point I've been making.
Uh… What’s your point? (succinctly stated)

While Jesus is usually "The Rock" being referred to, the rock in this instance is the revelation by the Father of Jesus as the Christ.
Yes, the context is Peter's statement of faith/belief/truth.... that Jesus is the son of God.... and the rock that the church is built upon.

To be the church leader. Peter himself was a meek and cowardly man, but Jesus nevertheless gave him they keys.
…and to spread the gospel of Christ.

What do the keys mean then? Isiah 22 has the same situation of a king giving special keys to his stewart; keys that are passed down to his successors.
so, somehow, you think these are literal keys that Peter was given, to pass down to his successors, all the way to the present day "Pope" of Rome?
Or, were they the figurative keys to open the kingdom of God up at Pentecost?

As it applies today to all Christians. Jesus gives His sheep the same keys.

I would argue that the emphasis is not on the statement, but its source. The blessing is associated with the revelation because it is given by the Father.

That's what Jesus said in Mathew 23:3 - Obey the authority of the Pharisees.

You must obey all authority applicable to you, including church authority.

Just because Papists do wrong doesn't mean they don't have authority.

Do you really think Christians have the authority to decide what's been bound and loosed in heaven?

So strange that you go on and on about how we are to obey the authority of the RCC
while wanting us to believe at the same time that you do not believe or support them.

The RCC is certainly not my authority.

Was Jesus speaking to Christians then, or Jews under the law?

Do you believe Christans are under the law?

Totally, absolutely incorrect, out of context, false, whatever other adjective you can come up with...
Papists are NOTHING as authority figures. At least not in the church that Jesus built.
