That is correct. But Pharisees who had entered the churches made Torah observance a condition of salvation. Since the Torah contains "the Law of Moses" those insisting on applying this to Christians are called legalists (a term derived from "law) or Judaizers. The epistle to the Galatians addresses this serious issue. The modern application of "legalist" is incorrect.

Do you believe that Christians are required to obey all the laws given to Moses at Sinai?

Many words not found in the Bible still exist as concepts expounded upon in the Bible.

Are the words athest, agnostic, wiccan, Trinity, Shekinah, rapture, or the word Bible in the Bible?

Other words absent exist in our lives in some way. Are strawberries or coffee in the Bible? Pizza?

Prescription for you: Read Romans, Galatians, and Hebrews. Repeat until you are no longer fallen from grace.

Anyone who thinks things should only be done one way are legalists. The only exception I've found to this is Jesus who only allows salvation in Him. So evidently, if you create the world you get to be an exception to the rule. Any takers?

That is called the Argument from Silence fallacy.

An argument from silence (in Latin 'argumentum ex silentio') is a conclusion based on the absence of an exact statement or exact term or exact word, rather than their presence. It is often found in the example of a question asking for something the asker already knows does not exist. Example, "Where is the word "Trinity" found in the bible?". The fallacy is the requirement for that exact word to be found somewhere rather than the concept of the Trinity being found. People unfamiliar with this fallacious tactic might consider the type of question valid when it is in fact invalid.

I understand what you mean, but I get the feeling you're posting these threads just to irk people and not actually encouraging them to do good as a result of salvation and the Holy Spirit in their lives.

If that's the case, you really shouldn't use God's Scripture and His ways to upset people. They're not meant for that.

Jesus is one correct way and his commandments are not heavy.

I agree - God's commandments are not heavy or upsetting especially in light of the fact that we have the Holy Spirit to enable us and cause us to obey the Lord.

But you're not demonstrating that. You're being pretty hypocritical. :)
