Makes no sense. OF COURSE satan was in the garden empowering the Serpent, Jesus was 4,000 years later.

angels are created beings. Hebrews tells us man, which we are an animal too, is a little lower than the angels. Ezekiel tells us Satan was created full of wisdom.

He deceived at least 1/3 of the other angels - if not all of them. he deceived the perfect, sinless Woman.

so he is really really really sharp.
he thought he could deceive even Jesus - because he did not at the time know Who He is.
what is missing?

He wrote it because it is true.
