Hello Grandpa it's always nice to talk to our elders for usually they are full of great advice from years of experience and they are generally pretty smart too
Lets look at the time line first this is a revelation subject so it obviously relates to the end time prophecies. Couple questions first though
1 What nation today or city is the greatest in trade and commerce surpassing all others in world history?
2 What nation today is the purveyor of the majority of pornography in the world?
What nation today is involved in the majority of wars worldwide?
What nation today is responsible for the greatest gathering of knowledge known to man in history?
what nation today is responsible for most of the greatest technological inventions of all time?
This is not finger pointing merely observation of modern day events as I see them the truth is out there and cannot be denied honestly
1 by what currency are all others measured and where is the majority of wealth distributed from? New York has the worlds largest stock exchange bar none
2With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 How many countries in the world is the U.S and her allies currently at war with?
4 The greatest deposit of information in the world currently resides in the state of Illinois in a massive computer the size of a 10 story building
5 The majority of technological advancement that has ocurred in the last 100 years comes directly out of the U.S.
I would rather not say it because of the outlash that will result from this but the truth is the truth even if we can't se it it must be told

I'm not trying to be as geographicaly correct as I am symbolically and time wise with events that could not have happened even a generation ago but are now taking place even as we speak I.E mark of the beast just 1 generation ago this would not have been possible but now with nanoprobe technology it's here and some people already have them in them this isn't fiction it's the truth what about the cloning of dollie the sheep in Great Britain or the genetic manipulation of the very food we eat so that it is sterile that is to say it gives no seed if that isn't an abomination of desolation I don't know what is think about it and give me your replies I love a good debate!

Babylon is the 'great city' being referred to throughout Revelation. The Whore.
It's Jerusalem.
Peter even straight up calls Jerusalem BABYLON here:
(1 Peter 5:13) The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.
Peter was living with his son Marcus IN JERUSALEM.

This being the case, Peter wrote his first letter in Rome.
