Can you imagine a Church that lets this dude teach children!?

He’s the exact opposite of what Christ taught His disciples to be.

Gee, what a shock. A political thread on a religious forum has dissolved into acrimony and vituperation. Who could ever have seen this coming?

In the end times they call evil good, so...thank you?

Now how did Christ really mean you CAN serve both God and Mammon? Do tell.

I love how people just randomly hate trump. There's not even a reason to not vote for him. Just orange man bad.

I'm independent and hate both democrats and Republicans. There's only a handful I can even stand and that includes trump.

People need to educate themselves more. Read propaganda and 1984. Then you can cast stones.

Biden literally opened up our borders to terrorists. That's an act of war! But what does he care democrats love war. Oil and money for them and they can raise our taxes.

Democrats were the party of slavery. I guess we don't care about that anymore?? And most are still racists.

Democrats will let out the rapist and murder the baby. The innocent always suffer. Criminals thrive.

Republicans are bought off or too scared to grow a pair. They sit back like little weasels.

Even though I can't stand either party I don't know how any Christian can vote democrat. They are flat out evil.... they would crucify Jesus if they could. Instead they'll just tell little kids they came from monkeys while exposing Trans adult genitals to them.

There's a lot more, but that's blunt enough....
I’m not casting stones and I’m not casting my vote for Trump.

For the lulz. It's hilarious watching so-called Christians attempt to serve two masters when it directly contradicts the teachings of Christ.

Some folks aren't such blind followers they have to erect a surrogate "leader." Christ's sheep hear His voice and follow.
I don’t know what “voice” you’re hearing , but it certainly ain’t Christ’s!
“My sheep, go into the world, mock, cause strife, and laugh at them”

Show us a verse where Jesus got His jollies by laughing at other people.

Maybe it’s the adversary’s voice your following?

I just do not think you can make an argument to not vote by using scripture.

I do understand the reasons for not voting for other reasons, as things are a big mess, not liking Trump or Harris, having said that there are Christians working tirelessly to expose evil and fight injustice, so even if you do not vote I think we should all be salt and light and find ways to preserve the good (the inalienable God given rights and freedoms, the Constitution etc.,) and work to return to what was once a good nation, that would be the nation before World War II, before the USA decided it was going to be an empire.

And by the way it is the "end of the age" and not the "end times" ..... the end of the age in scripture was the end of the Mosaic system.

For those of you wondering: The military and law enforcement don’t change because of what president we have. Neither Harris nor Trump will be able to change that. That’s a moot point.

I'll do one better - Yahweh does as such:

Psalm 59:8; "You, O Lord, shall laugh at them;
You shall have all the nations in derision."

Christ is "God manifest in the flesh" so there.

Dude, you're the type of hypochristian that led me into the ministry to expose fake "Christians in Name Only" in the first place. Nobody claimed to be God, silly simp - I quoted a Bible verse that you should've known about your own (supposed) Father to begin with.

But seeing your Savior is Trump I'm not surprised - all you've done are Ad hominem attacks and haven't disputed any of my confirmed scriptural points yet, lulz.

You're grammar school.

Yeah. You quoted a Bible verse and related it to yourself!

Please stay away from children.

See my post above - you've lost the debate long ago. More Ad hominem won't save you, any more than that devil in shoe leather Trump will.

Don't you have some easy-believism to vomit forth elsewhere? Something like "Christ alone isn't sufficient, we need godless billionaire whoremongers to save America instead?" ;)

The only real choice is to throw a vote away on a third party candidate.

You don't win, but at least you're not helping somebody you can't agree with to win.
I did something similar in the 2016 general election for president.

I wanted to vote for Trump but my wife, who can't stand the guy, said that if I voted for Trump I would be sleeping on the couch for the next 4 years. We both agreed, I would not vote for Trump and she would not vote for Hillary. I went with Bernie Sanders. I know he's a Communist, but I find him oddly amusing. Basically, a harmless loon.

She reneged and voted for Hillary anyway. Harris is basically a Hillary-lite. Formidable opponent though. Trump has to start ripping her a new one, and fast.

Don't think that I will be doing the Bernie thing again though. Maybe AOC. Nah, I don't find her amusing anymore.

That kind of thing usually happens in the BDF.
