So any regulation of business is communism?
Does that include child labor laws? Banning the dumping of chemicals into waterways? Prosecuting fraud? Prosecuting tax evasion? Having a minimum wage?
Are you an anarchist?
Some regulations are necessary to ensure fairness and safety.
No, banning of dumping of chemicals into waterways is absolutely necessary.
Harris proposes to increase business tax from 21% to 28%. This will have the effect of businesses leaving the USA, resulting in massive job loss, and loss of revenue to the USA as fewer people will be paying taxes. Also, this will have an adverse effect on individuals that have a 401K. Stock market will tank and the value of holdings will greatly diminish.
There was no prosecuting of fraud in the 2020 general election for president.
Minimum wage may be necessary but the higher it rises the less opportunity for employment, especially for young people just starting their working lives. Look at California and see how raising the minimum wage for those in fast-food restaurants to $20 hour is working out. No way a kid barely out of school is worth that kind of wage. Many businesses have either closed their doors or greatly reduced staffing.
For the record I am all for child labor laws as children, at one time years ago, were severely exploited.
Not an anarchist but rather a realist.
