I read that we don't have anything equivalent to Vegemite here. Someone commented that they tried Vegemite one time and almost died. Well, I've been needing some adventure in my life!
Have it on toast, with plenty of butter. Layer of vegemite should be as thin as you can spread it - you can thicken to taste later (if you reach the point of becoming accustomed to it). Have it when you're feeling like something savoury - if you're craving sweetness, it will disappoint.

Im frankly worried. My work forced me to take the covid shot. Ive mostly become vegan again but im still worried. The shot causes coagulation in the arteries we dont need no more cholesterol.
You should read up on what can be done to counteract it's effects, as the effects are real and deadly, but people are claiming there are antidotes.

In your circumstance, I would probably consider a round of ivermectin or other anti-parasitic drug/s (e.g. fendbendazole), as there are plenty of accounts of some sort of parasites within the vaxx (these are the things clogging up everyone's arteries leading to strokes, heart-attacks etc.), and afterall, ivermectin must've been banned for a reason. Ivermectin is also supposed to be very good for cancer, and turbo-cancer is another side-effect of the covid-19 vaxx.

Obviously, speak to someone who can advise on your specific situation before trying anything, as there are risks (although these are likely much less risky than the covid-vaxx itself was, and these treatments are voluntary whereas the covid-vaxx for many was essentially mandatory). Even good drugs can be bad if used with ignorance or if you have other conditions, and the dose rates need to be correct to counteract the effects of the vaxx (i.e. too much can harm or kill you, but too little won't provide the antidote effect desired).

I'm sorry to hear that. What kind of job is so important to cost your life? What kind of people am I working for who would harm me to keep it? That's equivalent to giving up a kidney or undergoing radical surgery to keep the job. These are questions we should ask ourselves when wicked or stupid people tell us to do something. There are religious exemption letters available and I can provide you one IF you want it. They are always going to push more deadly boosters or whatever they want to scare employees with.

I'm going through a traumatic loss of my own family. They are gone, but the pain continues. Everything reminds me of them, even the half brother who agreed with her worthless Dr to put Mom down like a dog. This has given me post traumatic stress that affects my sleep, my heart, my health and I don't want others to go through the torture.

I try to forget and be positive here, but I love people who I don't know.
I decided that if God will provide a way, I want to share the gospel with the poorest people who lost everything and are closest to death.

At the same time, i hate reprobates who love money sooo much that they harm/ kill people who innocently entrust their lives to them. I have preached hardest to a room full of nurses/ dr at a nursing home who inject the innocent with those harmful vaccines. God loves those older folks who lost all their homes, wealth and many their families. Then they have devil vampires sinking their teeth into them and turning them into dementia infected death when they should be home enjoying their grandchildren instead.

My few local friends forgot about me and needing encouragement.
We just need to encourage all others before they end up like a zombified Michael Jackson needlessly in the grave. If I remember the news right, it was an MD that he trusted who was ultimately his killer.

Fried okra is... Okay. Not delectable, but edible. But okra in soup, boiled okra at all, is just mucus and boogers.

Somebody at some point was desperate. Have you ever SEEN okra growing in the garden? Hairy, irritating, and when you break it open it's slimy. You gotta be desperate to look at something like a raw okra pod and say, "I wonder if I can do something with this to make it edible."

It's like scrapple, souse, poke sallet... All these things people used to eat back in the day when we didn't have anything better. And some people still eat it because they got used to it. But WE HAVE BETTER FOOD NOW! We can stop eating stuff we have to pretend is good.
Actually, each year I grow a small plot of Okra. Prefer it fried. My wife likes it raw, sliced, in a salad. Good in soup too.
There is no need to pretend. You gotta get onboard with the Okra program, man. There is no need to pretend. Time to get real. :p:cool:

I prefer it fried too. Very enjoyable to me.
I've never tried it raw, sliced, in a salad. I will have to remember to try that one of these days!

There are plenty of other threads where you can rant (and definitely have ranted) about all the evils that surround us, that we should be deathly afraid of every day.

Thank you for the helpful tip. I look forward to receiving my jar of Vegemite and reporting back with my personal verdict of how I fancied it (or didn't fancy it) using your guidance here.

I won't be surprised if I find that I like it. I seem to like stuff others avoid or won't even try. For example, one of my absolute favorite foods is calf fries. Most people I know won't even go near them. I guess they don't find that particular part of the bull appealing :unsure:

My wife says it gives the salad a nice crunch.

As a child I didn't like it because of it's slimy texture. I was wondering if it works as an egg substitute? Since I'm allergic to eggs now, maybe give it a try again if I can use it in a batter.

I have had it fried breaded, but might give that batter idea a try.

When I was a child, I was allergic to chicken eggs. I was able to eat quail eggs though. My great grandfather just so happened to raise quail, so I didn't go without eggs.

I've raised ducks and geese.
Those eggs tasted like chicken eggs, but better, probably because they were free range. I have a neighbor who raises quails. I'll have to ask him about that. Thanks!

I like duck eggs. When my mother was alive, she raised ducks and would often bring me duck eggs. I found that they have a richer flavor than chicken eggs.
When I lived in the country, we had chickens and guineas, so I've eaten guinea eggs too.
Quail eggs are small, but that doesn't matter if they are helpful.

Quail eggs are small, but that doesn't matter if they are helpful.
My friend raised guineas to protect her chickens, but I never ate an egg from them. I think she showed me one once. Are they spotted? What do they taste like?
