The rest of the dead live not again until the 1000 years are over.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The first resurrection is for the saved.
The second is for the unsaved. All will be raised.

Joh 5:28-29
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
I'm pretty sure Christ resurrected. Wouldn't he be the first?;) This passage is not referring to all that will resurrect. Context, context, context...

Only to those who refuse to accept what's written. Interestingly, you provided no biblical proof for your position either...not one verse talking about the earth being empty of humanity during that time. What internet preacher do you listen to and believe?

MM
Rev 19, 20, 21 states the way it will all happen.

Jesus is coming as king of kings.
Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
He tells the birds to feast on the dead.
And the rest are destroyed.
Rev 19:21 And the remnant (remaining) were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Only the save survive the second coming

Rev 20 explains that the devil is cast into a bottomless pit. That Word means abyss
The same description given to the earth before creation. A void. Wasteland.

Rev 20:5-6
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

No evil will be with the saved. They are safe with Jesus.

Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

Satan now has souls to tempt
Satan can start working against Jesus again. He is loosed out of his chains.

Rev 20:13-15
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The second death is for those not written in the book of life.
The unsaved.
After the 1000 years the heavenly city comes down to earth. Earth is cleansed by fire and recreated

Rev 21:1-2 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Vs 8 states that the unsaved face the second death.

Mat 5:3-10
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. .....5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. ......10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Both the new earth and the kingdom of Heaven will be given to the saved.

First 1000 years in heaven then the holy city comes down to earth and earth is recreated, made new.

I understood you to say earlier that there would not nobody living on the earth during that thousand years. I haven't gone back through the posts yet, but that is what your words indicated when read plainly.

So, if that was a misunderstanding, then please clarify.

Thanks

Joh 11:43-44
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
This wasn't the first resurrection.
In relation to the resurrection of all the saved, these are examples. Reasons to believe in Jesus. They are the first fruit.

When Jesus comes, judgement is finished.

We are saved or lost.
As in Noah's day.

Where we go is of little significance. As long as your in the saved group.

Jesus has prepared mansions in heaven for the saved. The tree of life is in heaven..the new Jerusalem, the heavenly city.
Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

We need to be in that holy city to be close to Jesus, the throne, the tree of life, etc...

Rev 21 states that when death has passed away the new Jerusalem will decend to Earth.
Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Please show me bible verses that say that people will be ruling the earth for the mellenium..
I can't find any verses.

No. Noah was saved by faith and works, just like Abraham. That is not the means by which we are saved today. We are saved by grace, and that not of ourselves through works that we may boast for having earned what cannot be earned since it is unmerited favor. Paul made that case very clear a plain.

Where we go is of little significance. As long as your in the saved group.
Where we go is of little significance? We are told where we will dwell, and that is important...at least important enough for the Lord to have revealed it to us. The body of Christ will dwell in Heavenly places, Israel will dwell in the New Jerusalem, and the tribulation saints will populate the nations of the new earth surrounding the new Jerusalem, and there will be no more oceans on the new earth.

Jesus has prepared mansions in heaven for the saved. The tree of life is in heaven..the new Jerusalem, the heavenly city.
The new Jerusalem will rest upon the new earth, almost like this one except that it will not be tainted and plagued by the atrophies of sin.

We need to be in that holy city to be close to Jesus, the throne, the tree of life, etc...
Scratching my head over this one, for He is in all places at all times (omnipresent).

We also will not dwell in the New Jerusalem, but in Heavenly places...not that the Lord won't send us as visitors to that city when He no directs, but that city is not our dwelling.

I believe you quoted it in another post:

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

There are those who have chosen to demand that Jesus will rule from Heaven, even though they can point out not one verse anywhere that shows Christ returning to Heaven immediately after His Second Coming with the angels of Heaven as His army, and ruling with the tribulation saints AND the risen saints of Israel.

The resurrection is likened to a harvest.
1. First fruits are gathered
2. The main harvest is gathered
3. The gleanings

If you are a teacher of God's word and teach the congregation that they will fly away in the rapture to escape the coming tribulation of the Antichrist, you need to read the 13th chapter of Ezekiel where God is against the false prophets. In Ezekiel 13:18-23 God says, "I am against those that hunt souls to make them fly." This in in the King James bible, not in the newer translations where words have been changed.

No. Noah was saved by faith and works, just like Abraham. That is not the means by which we are saved today.
Heb 11:6-9
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

Moved by faith
It was all about faith for them, too.

And today, Faith without works is dead.

True faith will have works, because you love and trust the Lord.

Jas 2:17-20
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

You also need to read much more scripture because with our being saved by grace through faith alone, the Lord will not force us under the Kingdom Gospel whereby we must perform works for salvation, as will be the case in the tribulation period. Additionally, He will not UNseal us by Holy Spirit and make us UNborn again, for the people of the tribulation will have to persevere unto the end so that they SHALL (future tense) be saved. We are saved right now, but they will have to persevere. Any other scenario will force a change in our salvation status that simply does not fit in with the tribulational narrative spoken in Matthew 24 and other places.

So, if there's any falsehood, it is to say that we today ARE reserved unto wrath, which the scriptures declare is NOT the case.

So, the falsehood is on YOUR part, dude, not what scripture actually states.

If you choose to try and live under that gospel, that's on your own head, not ours. If you preach that other gospel, then Paul says you are to be accursed, for we are not under the Kingdom gospel today. That gospel will not save you right now.

The kingdom gospel will be preached unto all the world during the tribulation, then the end will come and the second coming of the Lord as King of kings.

Not tricky, the text tells you who will reign with Christ for a thousand years.

And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because
of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the
mark on their foreheads and on their hands
; and they came to life and reigned
with Christ for a thousand years
.

These are the Tribulation saints. They come after the Anti-Christ reigns for 42 months.
It says... They came to life. It does not say they were resurrected. They, like Lazarus... will be raised in their bodies,
and it says will reign (on earth) for 1000 years.

As for the Bride of Christ?

It won't be only for 1000 years.

For the Bride of the King reigns wherever the King reigns.
He will reign beyond a mere 1000 years! Reigns Forever!

There is a difference...

I'm not sure where you ever got the idea that the One true God ever gives up on those who are truly saved, but that's not the God of the Bible. I say that on this basis:

2 Timothy 2:13 If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

See that? We? The "we" in that statement is believers, and though one fall into unbelief, yet will the Lord remain, abide faithful BECAUSE He cannot deny Himself. Why? Because once one is a part of HIS body, He is not in the business of cutting off a part of Himself.

You see, it's about faithfulness in the midst of faithlessness. This is the basis for that:

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

That's the power of salvation...it has an effect that some out there don't like. Some hate to think that they are no longer their own once in Christ because they are then no longer "free moral agents." They are those who prefer a god who is under THEIR control. They want to define a god who acts and reacts in all manner as they see fit.

So, when the TRUE transformation takes place, God always shows His faithfulness, even in the midst of our faithlessness. Does that make sense? So you could NOT have become UNborn again, and UNsealed from Holy Spirit. None of our emotions prove anything in the realm of the eternals.

MM

The bottom line is that nobody looses their salvation within the dispensation of grace. The objections I've seen this are always steeped in hypotheticals, with them necer explaining how anyone today can become UNborn again and UNsealed by Holy Spirit.

I would say that you feel differently now because NOW you are truly saved. Salvation is not a feeling, it's becoming a whole new creation.
