I heard on youtube someone say that God does not want you to share your struggles outwardly. Also, they mentioned something about demons might pick up on this your feelings as it’s a public forum to attack you further.
I don’t know if there’s any biblical truth to this, but there could be, I just haven’t researched it. I know that God doesn’t want you to complain but since we are, we would be complaining to brothers and sisters in Christ. I don’t know if that’s OK or not OK any thoughts?

Forgive me, but I think your first mistake was going to YouTube to find out what God wants or doesn't want. The best source for this information it The Holy Bible.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Matthew 11:28
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

I hope this helps :)

Please share the link.

I think sharing struggles is okay but complaining may not be.

You provided outstanding scripture regarding the sharing of struggle. The one of 1Peter 5:7 is exemplary. The casting of anxieties is definitely the sharing of a struggle.

Without having seen the video, all I can do is offer a guess: maybe he was talking about people who do nothing but complain?

There is a fine line between sharing problems and complaining though.

But the part about giving demons information is bull. One, they don't need information. Two, greater is he that is in me. The only information I need to give them is, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Youtube 🙄

Demons have been around for 1000s of years, influencing and affecting people. They know what they're doing and don't need us to tell them where or how we're struggling. They're aware of when you sin and which sin and how often. You verbalizing it doesn't mean anything.

Galatians 6
2 Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.

I agree Subhumanoidal, we are children of the day (e.g. 1 Thessalonians 5:5) and we live our lives in the light, not in the shadows. And (as you mentioned) we are to share each other's burdens, confessing our sins to each other and praying for one another .. e.g. James 5:16.

As far as the demons go , living our lives like an open book could indeed be problematic for us, but like everything else, God (who will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able to handle) has that one covered for us, as well :)(y)(y)

God bless you!!

~Deuteronomy (David)
1 Corinthians 10
13 No temptation has overtaken you, but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
James 4
7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Ok thanks. How about complaining to other Christians?
