Do not be conformed to this world,[c] but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

"Do not be conformed to this world" sounds like it's telling us to do the opposite and not concern ourselves with cultural/social norms.

Romans 12:2

I would disagree. We shall not concern ourselves with the sins of the world? We must be in the world but not of it, yes? We must concern ourselves with social and cultural norms! The norms of the culture will be to sin, and sin is a serious thing. We should not be conformed to the world. If we concern ourselves with the problems of the world, it doesn't mean we are being conformed to it. Also, is goes to say to rather be transformed by the renewal of your mind. So instead of being conformed to the world, instead be conformed to the image of Christ!

Jesus said to give to caesar the things that are caesar's, and the things that are God's to God. Uncle Sam says he wants Americans to vote, so give to caesar what is his, but pray when you do so to make both caesar and God happy.

See my comment at the bottom.

No, Samson was a Nazarite. Read more carefully.

Nazarene, not Nazarite. Different completely.

Wow. Since you didn't read carefully enough, and conflated two unrelated concepts, you're left with nothing but a tangle and no argument at all.

When you don't understand the basic text, you can't claim to have divine insights about it and remain credible.

When we say Jesus of Nazareth. It is very clear in man's understanding that Jesus lives in a town called Nazareth. This place can be seen or in Literal word.
But what Jesus taught to Paul is the Thing That Can't Be Seen or Spiritual Word (2 COR 4:18)( 2 COR 3:6).
Therefore what God's means for Jesus of Nazareth is in Spiritual word and not in Literal word.

The Spiritual meaning of Jesus of Nazareth is same as Samson as Nazarite UNTO GOD FROM THE WOMB.

The child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb

Streeeeeeeetch.

No.

Stop with your silly, baseless "spiritual meaning" blather and stick to the plain text. You're so far off base that you're in the next county.

I guess I'm thinking in the sense of of not being bound to cultural norms, in the way monks in the middle ages were, they had a slightly different style of dress than most people and definitely had a different hairstyle that wasn't typical of the common population, but they still maintained a relationship with the public.
