This is interesting.
I can definitely relate to some of the dislikes you've stated in your posts (as well as the likes... Shrimp Scampi, where are you??!!!) but this is part of why I find food preferences between individuals fascinating.
I tend to like a lot of my foods on the drier side. For instance, I do NOT like sauce on my sandwiches, because I don't like most condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, dressings -- beh!) and I think they make my sandwich mushy, which I don't like at all.
I'm losing my taste for meat as I get older, and when I do have it, I have to shred it or cut it into very small pieces -- there's just something about the texture about bigger chunks of food that I don't like. I also came close to suffocating on various pieces of food as a kid (maybe I was just being too greedy at the time, lol) so I tend to cut my food into smaller pieces as a precaution.
I eat salad with the dressing on the side, because I grew up in the "you're not losing weight because your salad is drenched in fat-laden dressing" era, only dipping a corner of the leaves in at a time.
But when it comes to M&M's... I can whole-heartedly make the egregious sacrifice of taking on any unwanted ones that come your way... All in the interest of helping out a fellow Christian.
