This post was so cute that I had to make sure to include it in yet another post -- just to make sure people had the chance to read this twice!! :ROFL:
 
What about the I've got a lifetime commitment to my dog who believes it's her job to protect me from other humans, especially those scary men. When I first got her, I was saying that I made all my relationship mistakes with a dog instead of a man. But she's been a pretty good dog for me.

Or maybe we should just say, I'm waiting for a man brave enough to come and get me (forgive the bad face blur job here):

I have had the gift of tongs too. They are in the top drawer where I keep all of the miscellaneous cooking gadgets. I don't have the gift of speaking in tongs though. The only time I speak in tongs is when I can't find the tongs among all of the other clutter.

Sadly I couldn't keep my kitty at my home anymore, so they get along as well as can be expected for never seeing each other.
 
When you took your girlfriend out fishing but reality slaps you and says your single like....

I met my husband right as I was finishing some of my M. The., at the OPC I was attending, and pretty much immediately married him. I'd never been on a 'date' with anyone, and my husband got to be chaperoned by my seventy year old father until we married.
I thank God every day I never had to deal with the modern dating scene.
