What is some of these threads about thiefs not entering the kingdom of God? Didn't a thief died next to Jesus and Jesus told him you will be with Me in My kingdom? Doesn't the Lord God come like a thief in the night? Wasn't Mary Magdelene an adulterer, yet Jesus saved her? Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Ramon...Christans are Christ like, not Jesus, who was w out sin and God's son. If Christians didn't have sin, then what would of been the purpose of Jesus Blood? I agree everyone needs to die to the flesh to have bond w Jesus. U'd have to literally die though the physical death ur saying? I believe once you have excepted Jesus, repent and do God's will, and abstain from stuff of this world, that you have excaped death. Unless of course you died of natural causes, but what does that mean? You only get one life...and then you either go to hell or united w Jesus! Christians are dying EVERYDAY to things of this world, and once that's done, you get blessed from God and a better life, not death!! You live eternal life. So I say...then again that is my understanding on this topic. All this is complicated to me, but Jesus clarifys it for me, which is Groovy!

You are right on track my friend. The gospel is not complicated at all. But many don't desire to repent and follow Jesus. The disciple of Jesus are just that, disciples.
They are servants just as he was. Tell me though, why was he killed?
He was killed because he testified against those who THOUGHT they were righteous but couldn't bear the fruit. Indeed, there will be many prostitutes and thieves who enter before the children of the kingdom, but they children of the kingdom will be cast into outer darkness, where there will be weeping an gnashing of teeth.
If we stick close to following Jesus, then we can't go wrong. May Jesus bless you.

1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
And also:
1Jn 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
And also:
Mat 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
Mat 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

Odd, scripturre not only tells us we can be perfected, but it commands us to do so. Matthew 5:48
It is only through faith in the death, and resurrection of Christ that we can receive in infilling of the Holy Spirit which enables us to live sin free.
If we receive Salvation through faith in Christ and then continue in sin that it what makes His death vanity.
