Hey Everyone,

It's time to have a very serious talk.

Let's find out who among us are truly LIVING ON THE EDGE!!

In other words... When it comes to the following dilemmas, which do you choose?

1. The edge of the brownies, or the center?

3. Do you eat the WHOLE slice of pizza, or are you left with a box looking like this?! (Are pizza edges/crusts worth eating?)

Some time back, I had made a pan of brownies and sent a picture to friends, saying this was the result of me being single and not having to share with anyone!

There's nowhere to hide with this one. This thread is going to expose all people who like to LIVE ON THE EDGE (or at least, consume it) -- and are thoroughly enjoying every bite!

Everyone is welcome to answer!

* Do you have any family members/roommates you have to fight for the "best parts"?

* Do you have any rules about who gets first dibs on their favorite selections?

* How do you manage to reach a compromise? :)

I will eat any brownie that doesn't try to bite me first.

I will eat the whole cookie, but only if it is homemade. For some reason store bought cookies never did figure out how to be appealing. Even the soft ones.

Pizza crust is good with butter. Not that oil with garlic in it. Real butter.

Sandwiches are not worth peeling the crust off. I will eat them whole. Unless it's a sandwich I made, in which case it's thick enough that I will eat it in probably three or four bites.

🍕 edges are fine with me as long as they aren't cardboard, I like to dip em in marinara sauce. Never had a problem with bread crusts either. Not a big brownie fan but perhaps I never found a good one yet! If it's a really high quality cookie that thing is gone in one bite, nevermind the edges on that thing 😛

No brownie edge, preferably, but will still eat with.
A trick to try @seoulsearch is make small pieces with the edges and eat those first. That way everything left has no edges. Gets past the bad part first and enjoy the rest. Or give those small edge pieces to someone else haha.

For sandwiches I'm usually not a fan of the top part of the crust, the curved area. Depending on the type of sandwich I may or may not bother taking it off.
I'd prefer it without any crust, though. But if it's one of those 'healthy' breads I'll take all the crust off every time.

With pizza it depends. It depends on the crust and my mood. Some places have hard and chewy crusts, and those are usually a no. If it's a soft crust I'm more likely to eat it.
It also depends on how hungry I am, and how much pizza I get. If I only get a piece or two, I'm also more likely.
Or better yet. Stuft crust pizza, especially with dipping sauce *drools 🥰

Cookies if its more of a fresh baked cookie the edges tend to be hard, I hate that. If the edges aren't hard or chewy then I just eat the while thing.

I live alone, so I wouldn't need to share. I'm usually not one to call dibs on things when something is shared.

I keep the edges because it is a waste to discard them. Taste wise, I am basically indifferent but I do like pizza crust. I prefer brownies without edges because the sides can be burnt sometimes.
