Just an abstract sort of question but if neither Trump nor Musk were the focus of the topic how many of the other members of DOGE staff already had security clearance to view the material their looking through? Just an abstract question though because assembling an staff of members and getting them the level of security clearance to preform these task surely takes more than twenty-two or twenty-three days if you begin from January 20th. Which would mean that they had all been vetted and obtained their clearance level prior to this current point in time and that what they are looking for is not at random at all as if they were looking for just whatever they might find.
Personally I think the people making a big stink over this are those who are afraid of having their crimes uncovered. I don't believe the allegations that there is anything unconstitutional about DOGE nor do I think it is violating Americans privacy. But I am more than happy to have a judge and court decide.
Even though I have no proof one way or the other, my feeling is when a liar and thief is about to be exposed they will often protest vehemently.
