Okay, for years I have said that I have all I need and all I want, to the point that I can't even think of anything I want for Christmas. But that has changed. Now I know something I want for Christmas.
Now a backyard BBQ is a dress code I can handle!!
So the people who go to Nobu can send us fabulous pics and videos, while the others of us will be having a cookout at Susanna's!
(I'll pass on the beer -- more for everyone else -- and I might throw a few burgers on the grill instead of steaks, but I'm sure it will be a smokin' good time!)
If they are getting $135 bucks for my lunch, they had better accept me showing up in sweatpants and a t-shirt, or even a tutu. If they want to be picky about how I dress, they should lower their prices. A lot.I have to admit, and this is going to sound silly, but fancy places make me nervous.

Does anyone ever worry about what they would wear to such a fancy place? I've only been to a few fancy places, and of course dressed accordingly, but those days are long past and these days, I don't have anything I could really wear at such a place. I wouldn't want to be disrespectful in my manner of dressing -- and would have to get a new fancy outfit just for the occasion.
It sounds lovely!!! I LOVE looking at different places for their architecture and decor, but I'm just a girl next door in jeans and a t-shirt -- I'd never look like I actually had any business being in such beautiful places!
