God does not violate His own nature. He does not love arbitrarily like humanity. God is love. His nature does not change according to circumstances.

"Say to them: ‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked should turn from their ways and live." Ezekiel 33:11

In context, this applies to Israel. However, That God also loves the Gentiles is obvious. He reserved His most elite apostle to minister to the Gentiles. If we were running things, we would have considered Paul to be the obvious choice because he was Jewish to the core. God's ways are not ours. God no longer sees Jew and Gentile. God does not delight in the death of wicked Gentiles either.
God hates the devil and his unrepentant minions.

Yes, on the one hand some of the KJ onlyists, in a rare moment of honesty, could say, the translators made a mistake doing that, using the word hell in place of multiple other words that had different meanings, but then they would turn around and still claim the KJV was perfect and/or without error. Quite illogical. The hell many describe comes largely from fiction, more specifically, Dante's Inferno from The Divine Comedy, and William Blake paintings. Nothing like that is described in the Bible. In 1824, British landscape painter John Linell commissioned the poet and artist William Blake to illustrate the Divine Comedy, a fourteenth-century epic poem by Dante Alighieri. Though they were painted five centuries after the poem was written, Blake’s one hundred and two water color illustrations resonated well with Dante’s secular and spiritual ideas of a subsiding society and a soul’s journey through hell.
Ah dantes inferno I enjoyed that movie but thought it was just that a movie. and yeah getting the kjv onlyists to admit it is not perfect is next to imp[ossible as is most situations when it comes to cults
personally I like it but I would not say it is or any translation is perfect as it is not the originial manuscripts to begin with the original texts have been so watered down over history that honestly I wonder how much of the word of God is actually the word of God

God hates the devil and his unrepentant minions.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaites, which I also hate. 7 He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: To him, that overcometh, I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of my God. 8 And to the angel of the church of Smyrna write: These things saith the First and the Last, who was dead, and is alive: 9 I know thy tribulation and thy poverty, but thou art rich: and thou art blasphemed by them that say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison that you may be tried: and you shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful until death: and I will give thee the crown of life.

How does this passage relate to your earlier claim that you quoted?

I know there is a doctrine which asserts "perish" means to "ad nihilum" to nothing, but I do not think it is really supported by the context of all scripture.
I'll give one verse...
Modern thinking has twisted people's thinking but you need to read the Bible as it was written, in true context... but people only see with modern corrupted filters on their eyes...

Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Everlasting punishment.....

Does it mean they will burn with flames for ever, be punished forever, and recieve eternal life from God to suffer forever???

Or is Jesus saying everlasting punishment.
The punishment is everlasting.
Notice He didn't say punished forever.
The punishment of sin is death. That is clear. So Jesus was clearly saying...
"Everlasting death"

But people don't want to see it that way
They would rather believe the lie of the devil. "You shall surely not die"

Jesus is saying everlasting death and the the devil is saying everlasting life for the wicked...
Which one are you supporting?

They will most likely and typically stick with the Augustinian view...

If annihilation is the just punishment.........no need for "degrees."
Degrees, the time they suffer and are alive is to bring justice.

If you are not saved and are raised in the second resurrection (of damnation),
And can understand that you are lost and can see God's glory and all you sins come up before you, condemning you,
Would you want to live longer or die?

Those that are alive longer, will suffer longer and when God's justice is done they will die, perish, and not have any part in life forever more.

True justice ⚖️ of God.

Good question.

Eternal life is living forever.

Perishing.............Is dying forever.
REV 14:11 - “the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever and they have no rest day or night.”
So you believe God gives the wicked eternal life. ???

There 2 resurrections John 5 and Rev are clear that the first is for the Righteous and the second is for the wicked...

The annihilation and second death which destroys all sin and suffering, happens after the second resurrection.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

If there is no more death or sorrow how do people claim that God keeps them alive in hell suffering and burning 🤔???

Hebrews 13 verse 14~ This world is not our home; we are looking forward to our everlasting home in heaven. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Either the torment is pain and suffering that lasts for ever which controdicts Rev 21.
Or the it is referring to the everlasting effect of death, no rest from death, forever dead.
Or the punishment that lasts for a time...

The word "ever" used in chap 14, is...
AION..
for ever, an unbroken age, perpetuity of time, eternity
the worlds, universe
period of time, age
Origin: from the same as G104

Strong's Definition: From the same as G104; properly an age ; by extension perpetuity (also past); by implication the world ;

an age or time.. sure it can mean eternity but then it controdicts the other verses.

A time is more accurate.

Like Jude 7...
Jud 1:6-7
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

This is referring to " the judgement of the last day".
Sodom and Gomorrha were used to compare, and it was said "suffering the vengeance of eternal fire"..

Eternal fire.. they are not burning today.

The Dead Sea rolls over the place where those ancient cities once stood. Yet they burned with "eternal fire," and we are told that it was an example of something. What is it an example of? "And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly." 2 Peter 2:6.

There it is! That eternal fire which brought Sodom to ashes is an example of what will finally happen to the wicked.

Unrepentant sinners go to hell which is a place/state of extreme torment for all eternity.
If life comes from God alone,

Why would a loving God torment people for all eternity?

Why wouldn't God allow them to die?

God has no pleasure in tormenting people
????
If He does like to torment people I do not want to worship that type of god.

Dante had an intriguing concept in The Inferno, that Hellfire is the presence of God without the protection of the Blood of Christ. Since Hebrews says "God is a consuming fire."

However, Scripture tells us Hell was created originally for the devil and his angels,
"Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels.." (Matthew 25:41). However, it also is now for those who refuse to believe (John 3:18) and are of Satan (Revelation 20:15).

I frankly think those in hell God thinks no more of, for God can forget things by choice,
"For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” (Hebrews 8:12).
If God can forget Sin, I think he can forget the souls in hell after Judgement Day when all men and women have been judged.

It is the Lake of Fire that is to be created for the devil and his angels. Death and
Hades (hell) get thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.
It is our sins He remembers no more...

Psalm 103 verse 12 ~ As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

Right but the point is if God can forget sins, I believe he can forget the sinners in the Second Death once they are judged. That he will pay them no mind.

how loving....

Just put them into a tormenting torchured state and forget about them...

If you had a child that rebelled and dose not repent can you put them into a painful hell with not ability to die for ever and ever. ???

The concept of a burning hell was actually invented by pagans and the papacy took the concept and applied it to Christian teachings..

The Council of Trent taught, in the 5th canon of its 14th session, that damnation is eternal: "...the loss of eternal blessedness, and the eternal damnation which he has incurred..." This teaching is based on Jesus' parable of the sheep and the goats: "Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire...And these will go off to eternal punishment,..."

Think about it from God's perspective..
Do you think he would like to be reminded of people who spat on His Son, and rejected His free gift of Salvation. Who say no to his love?

Do you when you break up with someone you love, want to be constantly reminded of the heart break?

Good point. I must add EZK 33:11 to citations of 1Tim. 2:3-4 on our website.
It is probably that verse which inspired Paul's.
