And if they like hiking (or at least don't mind getting dirty), critters, and aren't afraid of spiders they are really in a heap of trouble :ROFL: (just speaking for myself here lol).

Thank you for your healing words! I mostly just stayed quiet. It was not easy seeing posts made about me and still operate as normal here, but I knew that being quiet was my best defense. I think that anything else would have given attention to the situation, and I suspect that is what he wanted. I chose to pray for him and forgive and carry on with my life.

I'm exactly the opposite. At least I hope I am. Maybe?

Let's just say I'm desperately clinging to the hope that I am the opposite. It's the only shot I have.

At first glance I am a three. But when you start talking to me I can climb to as high as a five and a half, maybe even a six.

Or at least I sure hope I can.

He was banned the other times? I thought he told me he requested deletion on the other accounts. I only knew of the last account being banned. Interesting.

He usually leaves on his own, loudly. But he always sneaks back in.

But it's possible we are talking about two different guys. It's hard to keep all of them straight.

I was DEVASTATED when I found out I couldn't wear contacts anymore, and tried everything, but nothing works. My eyes are so dry (even with constant drops) that I run the risk of them sticking to my eye without coming off, causing permanent damage.

While I think I've found some fairly cute glasses (but they were quite an investment,) I can't wait to shed them in heaven.

But for now, at least I don't have to wear separate sunglasses (I have the transition lenses that change with UV light,) and, it's a funny thing.

As I've gotten older, the circles under my eyes have gotten darker -- but my glasses help hide them at least a little bit! :geek::cool:

i love wearing glasses. they make anyone who wears them look smart. you look great with glasses in your picture. plus to me at least people with glasses look more genuine. and certainly more memorable with the number of ppl i know. which is why it is particularly evil when someone gets new glasses that look just like someone else.

Yeah, for me he's gotta be okay with spiders and critters because I am NOT so he definitely needs to take care of that. :LOL:

Will chuck my two bobsworth in, i don't think marriage and kids was meant to be a lasting thing and that it was for a practical, time limited purpose. Not saying romantic love didn't exist historically but i do think it has been fetishised in comparatively recent times.

Late in life i realised it was preferable living with just my little cat than with my ex-husband too. Who i was seriously in danger of loathing because we had so little in common left by then. Personally think marriage was instituted for procreation/population, property and other functional and legalistic purposes. Also think in modern times it's been used as a tool in the general dumbing down/infantilisation of ordinary people, why literally worship physical beauty which is down to the luck of the draw, not achievement? Or even worse, surgical, the reasons for which open yet another can of worms.

Still having problems typing but the arthritis seems to be lightening up some, not feeling up to scratch, hope my comment makes some sense.

I think this might be the secret to a pairing that might be set up for a better chance at success.

Both people involved are humble and underrate themselves (out of honesty, not in false humility,) and truly see the one the other as being better than themselves (but out of inspiration, not worship.)

Just my own opinion though.

Like a lot of amazing people on this thread, think you were just born a couple of decades too late Lynx. It's beyond gutting somebody as clever and witty as you, thinks a six is something to aspire to.
My generation was one of the last to view people as a package, course we thought "phwoar" about hot people but smart, funny, kind, lovely people etc often got their day in the sun too. Large gaps in supposed attractiveness were pretty common at the time, common enough for popular songs to be written about it, like this one from Joe Jackson in 1978/9:

Reading through this thread is so saddening, the world's gone mad, had a nervous breakdown and i don't think it's going to recover.

I remember the infancy of your courtship with Darlene, and the love blossoming as yous were all goo-goo ga-ga to each other as one inspired the other's creative genius. I love you both and twice as much so as one.
