Hi! I think online Christian entrepreneurs should be willing to tell other Christians how to earn successfully, as it's one way they could help fellow believers. And it's God's will for the heads of households to be able to provide for their families through working for a living. But in some parts of the world, it is very hard to find a good way of income. I have 2 overseas Christian friends who are wanting to earn an income through online methods, since there is a lack of good ways to earn an income locally in their locations I've tried to find good advice for them. But unfortunately, there's a huge number of online business offers that are untrustworthy, though some call themselves Christians - but I know that most aren't, evidently. If you know of any that you've found to be trustworthy, that you've had success with yourself - or have friends who have found successful programs like this - please let me know. My overseas friends are very poor and can't afford to pay any business startup costs.

This is a challenging situation. There is no quick/easy way to make money in business; usually starting a business involves a period of debt/no pay in the beginning. They can find a business person abroad, who will fund the business and then employ your friends (for example, someone in the U.S. open a purse company, and then hire your friends to make the purses which can then be sold in the U.S.). They basically need a venture capitalist. Your friends first need to spend some time developing a business plan.

Thanks for your reply! I have copied all comments on this page from you and others to my computer, so I can go over it other times too. Thanks for your suggestions!

When starting a business, focus on what people need regularly, what you’re good at, and what stays in demand even during a recession. If you’re good with plants, you could try growing microgreens such as mustard greens or sprouts, or starting an oyster mushroom farm. Some businesses are seasonal and can make up half of their yearly budget during peak times. There’s still enough time to prepare. With Christmas approaching, people are getting ready to make decorations, candies, and sweets. Your sewing hobby could be turned into a business. If you like to draw patterns, you could advertise them on YouTube and sell them on Etsy. You could also sell stuffed animals, Christmas sweaters, stockings are big on platforms like eBay each year and similar items like customizable presents.

I am sorry for your friends' financial hardships.

However, I don't think this site can be of help because for obvious legal complications, the site could not support people here sharing supposed ways of making money (otherwise everyone would be doing it, and there are too many scammers to count, which the site would not want to be held liable for.)

Have your friends done any Google and YouTube searches of such things? If other Christians are out there teaching others how to make money through their own online businesses, I would imagine there are blogs and videos dedicated to this.

I have to say though that I've spent several years in the finance space, and it seems like the only people making money through online means either 1. have some sort of hugely successful social media account (YouTube, TikTok, etc.), 2. are selling some sort of course on something they are teaching -- and it seems that a good majority of these "courses" are just more scams, 3. are facing so much online competition that their business idea never gets off the ground. (Think of how many competitors there are out there, as everyone dreams of making money off the internet.)

This brings up the other difficulty with your belief that successful Christian entrepreneurs should be teaching others how to do the same thing -- it's going to take time and resources that most people don't have, and/or the legal ramifications might prevent legit people from trying to teach others. If "students" don't get the results they expect, they will often sue the "instructor," and it winds up being so much of a hassle that many won't even try such a business.

People seem to think of online "businesses" as easy money that just passively rolls in, but from what I've seen, anyone who can actually do it have to put in just as much work as a full-time job and more, especially when starting out -- and with little to no payout for the first several years until they get established.

I'm sorry to sound like a Debbie Downer but that just seems to be the harsh reality of online "work," and at the very least, I hope your friends aren't taken by any of the multiple scams that might try to take advantage of them.

Praying for the financial situations by speaking success and abundance in Jesus name, it will be that way and no other, in Jesus name to the glory of the Father forevermore.

most businesses for sure, need advance capitol, which is a loan which takes years to pay off. there are some businesses that don't need a loan. giving music lessons: can be done at home, initiating a landscape business: start with a used lawn mower, house cleaning: buy some cleaning cloths a bunch of different cleaners, ( i know several girls who started their own house cleaning business & they live well & travel a lot, even overseas, ( they earn $500 to $1,000 a day ), the antique business: start small; $50 or a $100 will do it, a band: learn an instrument & begin a band. the old lesson of "work hard" never fails. learn ambition if you don't have it. i know a guy who sells guns in big quantities. he started on his own & he certainly has a way with words as a salesman. there's people who started delivery businesses & they are quite comfortable. some people i know started restaurants & are very successful. i hope these ideas assist anyone looking for the entrepreneurial lifestyle. i, myself, initiated my landscape business with a used half broken 16" Craftsman mower & my antique business with $2. also, you can subcontract out work & earn money doing so.

i have been creating Christian artificial intelligence music since march of this year. The distributor I go through takes about 2-3 months to accumulate money in your bank on their website and when you finally withdraw money, they have two days a week where they deposit money in your bank account. Someone who is immoral with no integrity can make a lot of money doing this but since my music is strictly holy and peaceful for my main artist account, that means it might be a slow start.

At first, I was earning about $0.08 a week and now I’m earning over $2 a week. So it is slowly growing.

There are probably way more useful strategies that I don’t know about and if I had money to put toward it, it would grow faster but I don’t.

In my mind, I’m also having to think to myself in every decision, “what would Jesus do“ and not what I think I should do, am I following God with this decision or am I choosing to follow mammon over God?

You need three things.
Identify a need.
Have the skill to provide that need.
Have the money to start the business.
