God had given us a commandment the Tithes & Offerings. How people today followed the commandment?

In the Time of Noah the equivalent of Universal Declaration for the Truth , Noah was Crazy because he was building the Ark.

In the whole world there was only 1 family (Noah's family) who was dependent on God alone.

The Truth must be shared to everybody. And it is everybody to decide.
Please, just stop. You have no idea what I mean by “universal declaration”.

Please, just stop. You have no idea what I mean by “universal declaration”.

You may elaborate what you mean by Universal Declaration so everyone in here could understand what you mean.

But you can't stop the Truth.
Even in the New Testament Our Lord Jesus mentioned it.
When the Pharisees asked our Lord to rebuke his disciples or to stop them.
This is what he said to the Pharisees.
LUKE 19:38-40

38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.

40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

You may elaborate what you mean by Universal Declaration so everyone in here could understand what you mean.
I didn’t write, “Universal Declaration”; you did.

I wrote, “universal declaration”.

Do you see the difference? If not, there is no point in elaborating.

That verse has nothing to do with understanding the text.

To depend on text or what we can read or see is not the basis to salvation.
Paul being a chosen of God.
This is what he said.
2 CORINTHIANS 4:18
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Why do you bleat such twaddle? How about responding to what I do state, rather than what I don’t.

I came in this Chat group to share what is the Truth.

You may repeat what did you state. If possible do not use deeply words. Make your words simple to understand.

Our family's personal application is to bring the 3 different tithes mentioned in the OT. Yes, I know these are not required, but we have seen wisdom and blessing in each of them.

1) We give our weekly and/or monthly 10% based on our increase during that time.
2) We set aside aside money strictly for offerings for widows, orphans or special needs.
3) We make separate offerings during the Biblical Feast Days. In particular, we set aside a tithe for our Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) feast. We give gifts to our children, splurge on fun and activities that we might ordinaly spend money on, and bless them with the "junk food" and treats (we'd rather not give them, but hey, it's a time of celebration.)

Sure, we don't do it perfectly, or to what some people might consider the "letter of the Law," but as I said there is wisdom and blessing in following God's instructions and His heart.

God gave the law in Tithes & Offerings in Spiritual and not in Literal Physical because God is not a Man that needs Physical things..
ACTS 17:24-25
24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

Wrong. The law required submission of physical tithes payable on physical increases. The goods submitted were used by Levites and priests, not directly by God Himself.

How do you fulfill this part if you are submitting in physical?
DEUTORONOMY 14:23
23 And thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the Lord thy God always.

It’s talking about the tabernacle and after that, the temple, which was not yet built. Still physical.

Let us remember what Our Lord Jesus said. His words is happening all the time even in our present generation today.
He said this in the New Testament and it is happening today.
MATTHEW 24:35
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

The Law in Tithes & Offerings is a law in all generations.

Sure, we don't do it perfectly, or to what some people might consider the "letter of the Law," but as I said there is wisdom and blessing in following God's instructions and His heart.

I used to think as you have stated here. As an Israeli, I was bent upon what I thought was "obedience" as the means to obtaining blessing. What I later realized is that we can't obey that Law when we don't have what that Law specified. The Law of Moses never stipulated a tithe from wages, even though that is common practice today. In other words, saying one is keeping that Law by "tithing" of one's wages is a man-made precept rooted in nothing but emotional grounding rather than anything found within scripture. It's very much like Cain, who knew what Yah commanded for sacrifice, and instead brought something else.

Wages are currency, the value of which fluctuates on the basis of whim and placed value. Tithes from crops and livestock, those were substance that did not diminish except on the basis of actual consumption rather than the market confidence that drives the perceived value of the dollar. A steer fed many people, where a sum of money in a market of increasing greed, otherwise called "inflation," purely subjective.

So, modern tithing of wages on the basis of the Law is Cain bringing his vegetables rather than the blood. Don't get me wrong, Paul of Tarsus spoke well of giving from ones wages, but to point at the Law, that's just plain misplaced when assuming that the heart of obedience to that Law somehow is the mechanism or avenue for blessing.

Just calling a spade a spade in order to avoid the slight of hand antics of giving credit to the Law that it doesn't deserve. The Law could not save because of its inability to express the fullness of the righteousness of Yah. This earth could not begin to hold the tomes of books it would take to come even close to an adequate expression of of even the beginnings of the righteousness of Yah, not to mention that man cannot obey even what was given without becoming guilty of it all.

So, pointing at the Law rather than the teachings of Paul, THE apostle for us today in this dispensation of grace, is grossly mislabeling the source for our blessings.

Shalom

It is a complete commandment of God the Father.
DEUTORONOMY 14:22-23
22
Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

23 And thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the Lord thy God always.

It should be followed completely not a partial fulfillment only.

This is what God the Father said when the fulfillment is not complete.
JAMES 2:10
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

No, it is not. Why do you ask questions and then reject the answers?

Do you have crops and livestock from which to tithe? To whom do you hand it over? Where does it go?

Please show to us one verse anywhere in the Law of Moses that ever defined the tithe as a portion of one's earned wages? Those who argue that it was an agricultural society in ancient times, that's a cop-out that betrays gross ignorance. Currency existed all the way back into the days of Abraham when he purchased the burial cave for Sarah, all of whom were before the Law of Moses, so I'm hoping you don't try to go there.

So, if you're going to claim adherence to that Law, then how do you obey such without Levites, who alone were authorized to collect the tithe? Are you picking and choosing from the Law what applies to everyone, or is this all about you and what you have chosen for your own life? When laying something upon all, there has to be some foundational support for that within the text. Paul did indeed speak much about giving to meet the needs of others, but never based it upon the Law.

Yes... under the OLD covenant. It has nothing to do with the new covenant in Jesus Christ.

It is a complete commandment of God the Father.

The Law is fulfilled completely in Jesus Christ. You cannot follow the Law completely today as there is no tabernacle to which to take your tithe, no Levites to receive it, and no priests to bless it. The Law was given to ancient Israel, not to the Church.

This is what God the Father said when the fulfillment is not complete.
JAMES 2:10

No, that is not what God said when the fulfillment is not complete. There is nothing whatsoever said about "fulfillment" in that passage. It's not even hinted.

If you were correct, then you would be obligated to offer a lamb as a sacrifice for your sin, or two doves if you are poor. If you don't do that yourself (and I know you don't because there is no Temple), then you have no business telling anyone else that they should do so, and no business telling anyone else to follow the Law.

Remember Our Lord Jesus fulfilled this law.
Matthew 5:17
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Everything he did it Spiritually and not literally.
ROMANS 7:14
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

And how to follow the Spiritual Tithes & Offerings was revealed by our Lord Jesus to his disciples alone and not to all the Jews.
MARK 4:34
34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

Because the recognition of the Disciples to our Lord Jesus was a revelation from the Father
MATTHEW 16:15-17
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Even in our times today.
The meaning of Spiritual Tithes & Offerings was revealed only to those people whose recognition to Jesus is from the Father.

Have you heard a religious leaders saying it requires a miracle to know Jesus as what our Lord says in Matthew 16:15-17?

But it is the Truth. It takes a miracle from God the Father to know the real Jesus recognized by the Apostles.

Your conclusion is wrong because your hermeneutics are faulty.
