I know it can get a bit tough on here but this forum is definitely my fave . It's were my wits and memory of scripture is sharpened and , it's where I might learn something about the Word of God or , maybe , I can help someone else to understand something . God's Holy Spirit definitely reads this forum and guides us into all righteousness .

I learn so much here. In fact, I really don't learn nearly as much in any other area of my life. It's like the pieces come together and a voice says, "This is the way, walk in it". I think that's why I keep coming back. But it may simply have to do with having studied so much so intensively for so long that I got burned out doing it alone.

I don't know why you said God's HS reads BDF, but CC is seems to be the best of a trinity I have looked at.
 
Singles is my fave. BDF is a high-entertainment venue though. I venture there occasionally to try to inject a little humor in that dry bitter place. I treat the red X's I get there as a badge of honor. Does not hurt my feelings on bit.

Because we should not encourage our sister to be in an echo-chamber.
Ignore the topic, not the person. And the topic preference is different for many.

I love the sleepy icons that some people put on controversial posts to indicate that they can't hear what the poster is saying because God has given them a spirit of slumber lol

There is always two sides to every story.
For example what you see as "controversial" i see as boring and repetitive and therefore i rate the poster (a leftist usually) with a boring emoji. :)(y)

Yeah I know. I was just trying to be light-hearted about a like-hate feature I think is childish. However, I occassionally find it useful when I want to make some kind of positive affirmation to a poster without having to post a reply.

So, you admit butting in to a conversation we were having and you justify it by claiming
superior knowledge of what she is doing and needing?
Staying in Him should not produce pride and feeling superior.
We are instructed to turn away from many in these last days, the heady, the high minded, liars, boasters, lovers of self over lovers of God.
But if you know better than the Creator and choose to lean on your own understanding then so be it.

Absolutely!
We are on a public forum where we all can butt in.
This isn't a private conversation. It's public. This is why it's important to hear all participants even the ones like you who think might know more than God Himself.

Oh gosh , I'm sorry , I haven't made myself clear , again . I just meant that sometimes when I read posts on here , they r so spot on its feels as if the Holy Spirit is here , on this forum , helping us all to understand the Word of God . Sorry if I was a bit too vague .

2 sides? Doesn't that leave out the Father?
Much better to renew the mind as required to see the world through His lens.

The Father is supreme but here and now for human purposes we have to hear two sides to a story so we can make the best understanding of a topic.
