TAKING TIME FOR ENJOYMENT

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. —GENESIS 1:31 God not only worked and created things, but He also looked them over and said they were good. He took time to enjoy the work He had done. Do you do that? Do you just work and work, but never take the time to stop and enjoy what your labor has produced? Jesus said that He came that we might have and enjoy life in abundance (John 10:10), but in order to enjoy life, we have to take time to do so. Most people today are busy, busy, busy—rushing here and there, but not really taking time to enjoy the wonderful life God has given them. God worked for six days. On the seventh day, He rested from all of His labors (Genesis 2:2). We should also have a day of rest, not as a law we follow, but as a freedom God has given us. Rest is a gift from God, and it is necessary if we want to live long and healthy lives. Work is good, but we can turn a good thing into a bad thing if we do it excessively. I encourage you to schedule rest into your calendar just as you schedule other important responsibilities and activities, and take time to enjoy God, your family, and your life.

“Father, I want to live a well-balanced life, and I need Your wisdom to do it. Show me what changes I need to make in my life in order to enjoy regular periods of rest and quiet. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Hebrews 4:9-13
Living Bible

9 So there is a full complete rest still waiting for the people of God. 10 Christ has already entered there. He is resting from his work, just as God did after the creation. 11 Let us do our best to go into that place of rest, too, being careful not to disobey God as the children of Israel did, thus failing to get in.
12 For whatever God says to us is full of living power: it is sharper than the sharpest dagger, cutting swift and deep into our innermost thoughts and desires with all their parts, exposing us for what we really are. 13 He knows about everyone, everywhere. Everything about us is bare and wide open to the all-seeing eyes of our living God; nothing can be hidden from him to whom we must explain all that we have done.

God says, in through Son for you, I took care of sin first Son died once for us all., Hebrews 10:10 to give the new life in his risen Life for you tom love all. includes those you have gone wrong and those tha have done you wrong, you decide, thanking God for this love and mercy beyond human flesh understanding

Maybe that is what the Sabbath is for. Taking time for encouragement. Among other things.

To me, the Sabbath was made for us to rest. I see to rest, 24/7. Does that mean to sit down and do nothing? Quite the contrary
Hebrews 4 talks of rest for us, to rest, in trust to God's love and mercy and see in thankfulness it is done for us to love all, not a few and do as called by God, not religion in my own opinion. I know God takes each person in as equal, thanks to Son's done work first for us all. Then works it out in each person, and we each see to glory not in self or others, only Father and Son that did it for us all one time, done, The willing death took away sin first (John 1:29). Then the resurrection provides the new born again life given to each person in personal beleif between God and them. These just love all as Son did, which only Father, Daddy, PaPs reveals as Dad sees fit and when to reveal it.
John 13:34
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

How, you doing with the above scripture to love all? I failed and saw I need God to lead not me ever again, and am still in process, not wanting anything, since God gave/gives new life in the risen Son Jesus for all that believe and will not quit, each eventually see and are set free as in Col 2 for me thanks and love all
