Our Lord Jesus showed in his time among the Jews who has the answer for #1 and for #2.
When Our Lord Jesus entered in the Temple angrily he drove out those selling sheep, oxen and money changer.
Then he said Destroy this Temple and in 3 days I will build it again.
JOHN 2:19
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Scribes and Pharisees because they don't know who God the Father is (John 8:54-55). Their belief that Our Lord Jesus is not Speaking in Parables. It is clearly to their understanding that he is talking about the literal Temple. So they answered him.
JOHN 2:20
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
AMONG THE 2 ANSWERS, SCRIBES & PHARISEES CHOOSE ANSWER #2. THEY INSIST
But the Disciples of Our Lord, at first they understand is the literal physical Temple too.
JOHN 2:15-17
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
But since the Disciples know who God the Father is, they believe that Our Lord Jesus is Speaking in Parables (Mark 4:34)
So it was revealed to them by Our Lord Jesus that he was talking about his body.
JOHN 2:21-22
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
AMONG THE 2 ANSWERS, THE DISCIPLES CHOOSE ANSWER #1. THEY SURRENDERED WHAT THEY UNDERSTAND AND WAIT FOR OUR LORD TO REVEAL THE MEANING OF TEMPLE. AND IT WAS REVEALED TO THEM.

To reckon self dead to first born flesh daily, Rom 6:1-12. To see new and grow deeper in humility in the gift of love and mercy for us all daily, in thanksgiving and praise, understanding, no one before Jesus, during Jesus's time here on earth and to this day afterwords can be perfect ever of themselves ever, at least I see this now after many years, not giving up on Father and Son as won(One) for us all, am learning this unfathomable love to any first born flesh and blood, to me at least. Others might think they got it, Okay go ahead, and be whatever anyone else thinks, please do not be proud in it, or harm others, either, thank you
