The only one here making a fool of themselves is you with this ridiculous argument you put forth.
You put all your eggs in one basket because of your strong desire to refute all things you deem not of scripture.
Verily I say unto you the world revolves around the sun or Son if you prefer and to try and make this a debate about theoretical science is proposterous.
You refute all knowledge given to man because of an ill founded belief in Tychonian theory.

Sorry Doc. Wrong
You have not added anything to the debate with this.

Calm down. Do some research.

We're not talking about creation...we're talking about the stationary Earth. But while you mention it, what was the earth orbiting before the sun was created?

Ok, this is what I'm saying. You have to add to Gods Word to make your theory stick.

Did the moon stop in its orbit? Or was it only the Earth that stopped spinning?

You are offended. It's quite normal. You were like this when I told you Rome aint the whore.
The earth spins otherwise you wouldn't have 24 hrs a day DUH!

I don't have to add squat to my theory it makes perfect sense to any one with rational thought.

If the earth stopped spinning the moon would seem to stop as well

CALM DOWN OH MY WORD YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME YOUR GONNA TAKE 2 PASSAGES AND PUT YOUR ENTIRE THEORY BASED ON THAT AND SOME LOONEY TUNES GEOCENTRIC THEORY.

yOU KNOW THE AGE OF REASON DOES HAVE A LOT OF DETRACTORS ABOUT IT BUT THERE ARE SOME THINGS OF A GOOD NATURE THAT CAME OUT OF IT.

YOU ARE REFUTING ALL KNOWLEDGE GIVEN TO MAN BY GOD IN THE LAST 500 YEARS OVER A LOONEY THEORY MADE UP BY SOME CRACKPOT WHO REFUSED TO BELIEVE HE WAS WRONG

EXPLAIN ALL THE VOYAGER PROBES FINDINGS THEN OR ARE THEY ALL JUST BS TOO.

I GUESS NEWTON GALILEO COPERNICUS HUBBEL AND ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO DEDICATED THERE LIVES TO RESEARCHING THE FACTS ARE WRONG ACCORDING TO YOU AND TYCHO...PLEASE!

??

Whats the earth spinning got to do with time?

Or do you mean day and night?

I don't have to add squat to my theory it makes perfect sense to any one with rational thought.

If the earth stopped spinning the moon would seem to stop as well
Erm no. If you had an orbiting moon around a spinning earth...and the earth stopped spinning....the moon would continue on its orbit and therefore move across the sky. Gods Word says the moon stayed in exactly the same place for a whole day.

Like I say, God told us one thing....you tell us the opposite. I'll go with God. The sun and moon stopped in the midst of heaven.

Why are you shouting. You are making a scene.

What do the voyager probes prove exactly?

The rest is hypothetical science. Galileo even retracted his heliocentric theory as any Catholic will tell you.

Peace Musky. This is what you were like with the Whore thingee 'member?

Genesis is literal, God did make the heavens and the earth in 6 human days and resting on the 7th day (Sabbath), this is why people rest on Saturday, human time.

Gold is Almighty and powerful why do you doubt the possibities, did not God himself say;

Jeremiah 32:27
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

If God made the heavens and the earth in 6 days, then it means what it means.

Do you remember what Thomas did?, he doubted that Jesus rose from the dead and demanded to see proof, why doubt the possiblities of God, you mind cannot concieve, you thinking cannot contain, your logic cannot grasp the sheer power and majesty of the Almighty God, praise be to him!

You listen to science because it's tangible? or because it's the truth...? brothers you give science a spotlight to explain the things which you mind does not understand, have no doubt for if the Lord made the heaven and the earth in 6 human days, then let it be!

DON'T FALL BACK ON ANOTHER ARGUMENT TO TRY AND PROVE THIS ONE dOC.

Galileo had to retract or the Catholic church was gonna cut off his head.

The probes proved much more than you give credit for.

When you say these things you detract from the Glory of God saying it is not possible because your limited understanding cannot comprehend it.
I am surprised that someone of your obvious intelligence would even consider Tycho Braes theory
He was the last of the naked eye observers which means he saw squat in comparison to what his descendants did.

Peace man and I hope some wisdom falls on you concerning this cause to follow your theory is to seriously detract from the glory of creation that God made.

How else do you prove stuff but with an argument?

Galileo had to retract or the Catholic church was gonna cut off his head.
You might have a point had he not refused to retract a host of related particulars the RCC wanted him to.

The probes proved much more than you give credit for.
But nothing you can actually tell us?

When you say these things you detract from the Glory of God saying it is not possible because your limited understanding cannot comprehend it.
I'm not saying anythings not possible, just stating the bibles apparent position on geoccentricity. It appears to support it.

I am surprised that someone of your obvious intelligence would even consider Tycho Braes theory

Your surprise is the HS convicting you that you may be wrong.

Peace man and I hope some wisdom falls on you concerning this cause to follow your theory is to seriously detract from the glory of creation that God made.
Nonsense. I'm not detracting from anything.

If anyones detracting you are, by going against clear scripture.

Your emotions are clearly clouding your senses Musky. He was responding to the OP.
And your doing your darndest to discredit me Doc. with your semantical arguments which have no basis in fact only hyperbole.
I have been an enthusiast of the stars and the heavens since I was very young I have studied more research and literature on the topic than anyone in here and that is not a boast.
Refuting Modern wisdom based on old wives tales by Brahe is proposterous.

I suppose you deny the fact that there are other Galaxies as well eh?

Guess they are just pinholes in the cloth of the night sky then?

Doc. what do they call a person who refutes irrefutable evidence laid before them?

Horse hockey you can't back up your hypothesis with any credible evidence so you rely on discrediting your adversary rather than putting forth credible evidence.

YOU ARE WRONG PERIOD.
It is you who mistakenly takes scripture out of context to prove your wacked out theory and in so doing won't back down due more to pride than anything.

I know when to back off apparently you still have to learn.

Why are you taking this so personal.

Quickly, without looking it up....tell me which direction the moon actually orbits the earth?. Dont cheat now!

Refuting Modern wisdom based on old wives tales by Brahe is proposterous.
How about refuting science falsely so called with scripture and REAL observational, repeatable, testable science?

I suppose you deny the fact that there are other Galaxies as well eh?
Theres lots of lights in the sky.

Guess they are just pinholes in the cloth of the night sky then?
No, but many could very well be reflections off the waters above the firmament.

Doc. what do they call a person who refutes irrefutable evidence laid before them?
A bi-futer?

G'night pal. Going to bed.

If I refuse emotion then I refuse love, can't do that Doc.

You bet I am emotional when I see a clearly uneducated or ignorant view of the order of the universe.

Back off then I dont care.

The earth is still not moving.

What evidence do you want? How about using your God given senses? Does it feel like the earth is moving?

Nope thats what your doing

No, but many could very well be reflections off the waters above the firmament.

This just goes to show your lack of knowledge stick to scripture Doc. science ain't your bag man

Dont be a bi-futer Doc.

Sweet dreams man we will pick up later where we left off

May God bless you
