Your point is weak. I guess you have never won a person to he lord before they died who could not be water baptized.

The word of God doesn't mention every situation in context to the Sharing and witnessing the Gospel message.

But what do see is the message of Jesus Death burial and resurrection reach all Jews, Gentiles, pagans, devil worshippers, sick poor, rich, and old. Jesus is the one a person my receive to be saved. AS Jesus said.

You are going by what the bible says.

"since baptism is for the remission of sins, then one who dies without being water baptized for the remission of sins dies without having their sins remitted/forgiven."

As I said, you have a gospel that lack the ability to save and reach the lost without water baptism. What did Jesus say that is not null void because of your error in understanding of Acts 2:38.

Mark2:17 Those who are well have no need for a physician. But those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance"

What did Paul say? 2Corthians 5?

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.
12 For we do not commend ourselves again to you, but give you opportunity to boast on our behalf, that you may have an answer for those who boast in appearance and not in heart. 13 For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; or if we are of sound mind, it is for you. 14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Where in your word to those in the hospital on their dying bed is the hope of reconciliation that you have been given to minister if one is not water baptized? You will be judged by this. you have weak gospel .
My point is biblical. Acts 2:38 is crystal clear. As is Mark 16:16 and every other passage under Christ’s covenant concerning water baptism for the remission of sins. If you dies without repenting and being baptized for the remission of sins, then did they have their sins remitted when they didn’t obey what the Lord says on how to receive remission of sins?

I don't have to understand all the particulars, but I know without a doubt that what is recorded in the word is true. And
I believe what Paul revealed, "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death
: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." Rom. 6

The context of Romans 6 is Dead to sin, Alive to God. It is not the water baptism it is the symbolism that water represents the grave as Paul shows. The Paramount context is Christ death burial and resurrection that one aligns their life to. As Paul is saying in chapter 6.

11. "Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

its not the water, its the Blood of Jesus and His death burial and resurrection.

Scripture does not address the scenario you present. However, what scripture does express is believers are to "Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for remission of sin, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38).

the word of God doesn't address all scenarios. Yet you refuse to deal with what acts 2 says after verse 38 and many other text on this topic.

There are also people in the hospital, on their deathbed who have been baptized for the remission of sins. None of the verses you listed mentioned repentance, so where did you get one must repent from? I can only go by what the Bible says, and since baptism is for the remission of sins, then one who dies without being water baptized for the remission of sins dies without having their sins remitted/forgiven.

Now, here’s a question for you: There are people in the hospital who don’t believe in the gospel, but want a preacher to come tell them about it. Just before the preacher gets there, the people dies without ever believing in the gospel. Did they die saved? Yes or no.

Lol you did not answer my question in context to what I asked . To answer yours I don't know they were saved as they died before I got there are you have said. I leave them to the Lord the dead bury the dead. BUT what I do know of those who I have present the gospel message and did receive the Lord and repented as Jesus to come into their heart before they died which I witnessed Charlie Mccoy died before he was water baptized. You saying God will not accept and repented heart that has not been water baptized? based on one verse in the whole Bible? Charlie in hell right? answer yes or no.

Nope. first off as I said this is not about water baptism as I do believe one must follow in Lord in obedience of water baptism after their confession of Christ. They just don't need to be baptized in Jesu name only.

Circle your wagon all you want. There are people who have been saved who were not water baptized. You have no hope for those in Christ with water baptism. That was never what Jesus , Paul, or Peter ever taught.

Saved by Grace Through faith. Water Baptism is an act of faith and public profession. As we see before Jesus death and after His resurrection.

what Jesus could do? what Has Jesus done in context of Completion and what does HE continue to do?

we Know from Hebrews 7:22-28 Jesus is our high Priest in of the order of Melchizedek a priest for ever.
We know it is HIS Gospel That Paul said he was not ashamed of which is the power of God.
We know that we are saved By Grace Through faith not of works less any man should boast
We know that those who repent and call on the name of the Lord Shall be saved
We know that God is calling those to Himself such that should be saved.

No the New Testament rebirth was not possible when Pentecost happened. Jesus said what happen on Pentecost was to receive power to be a witness of Him Acts1:8.

The New Testament as Jesus said was Written in HIS Blood that was shed of all. Matthew 26:26-28

His death, burial and resurrection is the Foundational truth for The Gospel message. FYI The Disciples already Had the Holy Spirit before the day of Pentecost As they received from Jesus recorded in John 20:22-23 which is parallel to Mark 16, and Mathew 28

which says: John 20:22-23

Jesus said to them again:
"Peace to you! As the Father has sent me, I also send you" and when he had said this , He breathed on them, and said to them
"
Receive the Holy Spirit." " If you forgive the sins of any they are forgiven them: If you retain the sins of any they are retained."

You are very much mistaken about Jesus and what he sad done and said. it s also amazing that the only time Jesus Speaks about baptizing after His resurrection we see in Matthew 28 where to Instructs to baptize in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
Matthew 28:19.
My post was in reference to your comment that everything was finished at the cross.

The NT rebirth can only become a reality through Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. That's the point.

I never said they needed to be baptized in Jesus name *only* as a formula. I’m not talking about the formula. Im talking about the purpose. I guess you can try to receive the remission of sins your own way, I guess! Good luck with that. As for me, by God’s mercy and grace..I heard the same message those people on Pentecost heard when they asked what shall we do? By God’s mercy and grace, I was told how to receive the remission of sins. Just like the all who heard the message did. By the mercy and grace of God, I received the remission of sins, just as everyone else did in the book of Acts who repented and were baptized for the remission of sins. By the grace of God, I was saved by not of works, but by God’s mercy and grace, as no mere mortal man in and of themselves and by themselves had the answer of how to be saved from sin. But Jesus sure did. And one of His apostles revealed it by the authority of the one who whose covenant we are all now under, that has been sealed with His blood, and he says to repent and be baptized for the remission of sins. That’s grace and mercy right there.

It's faith in the shed blood of Jesus and obedience to the gospel; repentance, being baptized in the name of Jesus for remission of sin, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost as well.

But as Paul says, not all have obeyed the gospel.

John 3:16, 18,
Romans 10: 9-11
we can start with these
Actually verse 13 references calling upon the name of Jesus. And that is a reference to water baptism.

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Rom 10:13-17)

Romans 10:13 has nothing to do with water baptism. You are out of Context

Lol you did not answer my question in context to what I asked .
I did. When it comes to having remission of sins, I can only go by what the Bible says. That applies to the context of any situation. And so if someone does not get the remission of sins the way Jesus said under His new Covenant and dies, then the only answer I can give them is they died without getting the remission of sins by Jesus’ authority per Acts 2:38.

Jesus said it was finished NOT me.
Again, Jesus did what was necessary in the flesh and finished His earthly ministry dying on the cross. However, the possibility of eternal life would not have been possible had He not resurrected, and poured out the Holy Spirit.

again yo know a Jesus is that is limited in His work on the cross. Not the Jesus of the bible.

Romans 10:13 has nothing to do with water baptism. You are out of Context
In Romans 10:13 Paul is saying how to be saved. Verses 14-15 Paul is saying the lost cannot believe and call on Jesus in who they do not believe if they have not heard the gospel from a preacher. Verse 17 says faith comes by hearing the word of God. One hears the word of God and the gospel from a preacher. When the lost hears the word and the gospel from a sound preacher, they will hear how to call on Jesus name. In verse 15, “how can a preacher preach except they be sent?” A preacher is sent to preach. He preaches to the lost so they can believe and hear the word to have faith, and he tells them how to call on Jesus name. So, in total, the lost is to hear the word, believe, call on Jesus’s name. How does one call on His name? Calling on His name is mentioned in Acts 2:21 and told how to do so in 2:38 and Acts 22:16. Of course, one must confess Jesus as well, which is seen in Acts 8:37, Romans 10:9, as well as repent.

Romans 10:13 has nothing to do with water baptism. You are out of Context
I am hopeful you'll read the following, it addresses calling on the name of Jesus.

Consider Paul. He was on his way to Damascus to persecute Christians when Jesus supernaturally appeared to him from heaven. Paul asked Jesus, “What shall I do?” Jesus said, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do” (Acts 9:4-6; 22:10). Paul ...proceeded to Damascus where he fasted for three days and was “praying” (Acts 9:8-11), awaiting further instructions.
... God used a man named Ananias, who said to Paul: “And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord” (Acts 22:16). Notice carefully that Ananias, God’s specially chosen messenger to Paul, did not tell Paul that his sins were washed away when Paul spoke to Jesus on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:4-6), or when he fasted for three days (9:9), or when he prayed (9:11). Even though Paul had seen Jesus, talked to Jesus, and sincerely fasted and prayed, he had not yet “called upon the Lord.” Acts 22:16 indicates that he “called upon the Lord” and had his sins washed away by the blood of Jesus when he took the final step on his way to becoming a Christian—when he was “baptized into Christ Jesus” (Romans 6:3-4).
Paul’s “calling on the name of the Lord” harmonizes perfectly with what Peter instructed the thousands of people to do in Acts 2. Peter quoted from the prophecy of Joel and told those in Jerusalem on Pentecost that “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21; Joel 2:32). The people in Acts 2 did not understand Peter’s quotation of Joel to mean that a sinner must pray to God for salvation. ... Furthermore, when Peter responded to their question and told them what to do to be saved, he did not say, “I’ve already told you what to do. You can be saved by petitioning God for salvation through prayer. Just call on His name.” On the contrary, Peter had to explain to them what it meant to “call on the name of the Lord.” Instead of repeating this statement when the crowd sought further guidance from the apostles, Peter commanded them, saying, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins” (Acts 2:38).

In Romans 10:13, Paul (like Peter in Acts 2) quoted from Joel 2:32: “[W]hoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” When we allow “the Bible to explain the Bible,” we will not come to the erroneous conclusion that Paul is commanding the unbelieving Jews in Romans 10 to merely “cry out to the Lord” (cf. Matthew 7:21) or to “pray the sinner’s prayer.” Rather, with Paul’s own conversion in mind (his “calling on the name of the Lord”—Acts 22:16), as well as those on Pentecost (Acts 2), we realize that in Romans 10 Paul is pleading with (especially) the Jews, who “have not all obeyed the gospel” (Romans 10:16) to “call on the name of the Lord”—that is, to “obey the gospel.” And to “obey the Gospel” is to hear and believe the Gospel (Romans 10:17), to repent of sins (Romans 6:2,6; Acts 2:38), to make the good confession that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Romans 10:9-10), and to be immersed in water for the remission of sins (Romans 6:3-4; Acts 2:38; 22:16). This is what it means for sinners to “call upon the name of the Lord.” AP excerpt.

I see you added to Romans Act 2:21 2:38 Acts 22:16

but removed Romans 10:9-12 why?
