i think your english is a little broken, ada. maybe you want to type a sentence into google translate and paste ehre what english comes up? i have no idea what you're asking.
No you are making this up.
Please tell me how baking and haman ears does not fit to purim an young jewish education.
For the unknown.
Anual jewish feast of Purim means the slaughter of 75000 innocent man, women and children
cause they were on the alleged suspicion to attack the jewish people that refused to leave babylon,
cause God told them too.

This is exactly what happen today using america as a proxy, where they hides behinds the scene, making more and more a scapegoat out of the christian zionist people.

what a beautiful quote :) we SHOULD be eternally grateful <3
he was born in the fall. like now. ^_^ sometimes God quotes movies at me to teach me stuff. i think it's fun. nobody speaks our language like He does.

Yeah, it is fun how God can reach to each one of us. Even through secular music, sometimes, too. As long as we are open for God to speaking to us and touching us, then everything is possible for Him, whether it is showing us something in a movie, music, out in the nature or any other fantastic way. :)

I just finished watching that youtube video link you put up in here. Quite a "wake up" video. ;)

Makes a lot of sense about Santa's connections with the Scandinavian pagan god Thor, I learned a lot about Norse Mythology in school, though since I am born into Norway this should be plain normal. ;) After some few years ago I have became less and less happy about the way Christmas was celebrated during the 25th as well as during most of December, I am very Santa Claws Anti, Anti against most Christmas decorations, though I do must say I did thought it looked nice with all the lights put up in the dark, I don't like the Christmas Tree, or the last time I was at my parents place I had no interest in going out to the woods getting a Christmas tree nor decorating around in the house(my mom is a Santa Claws fanatic, she loves decorating around with these dolls with such typical red hats on them). Something they didn't mention in the video is that in pagan Scandinavian they also used to put out porridge for the "nisse"(nissen is a kind of demon or troll from the underground, if you'd not treat him nice, he'd make a lot of trouble for you and your life, and once you'd move away from this house he'd always join you to your new house), he was more of a curse I beleive than a blessing for the people having him in the house.

It is funny how last Christmas's I have felt as there is something that wasn't right with it, as well as reading about this 25th December date being pagan, so I was starting to come to an conclusion of not making so much out of Christmas season in the western world's point of view. I will show my husband this youtube video too. I am fine with not celebrating it during that time, and especially when it is all a manmade and pagan traditions put together in it. Also something funny is that I many many times starting singing those Christmas songs more during summer than during December/winter time. Lol. Would be a lot more special celebrating Sukkot, I think. :)

Thank you for sharing that video! -God Bless-

all i know is that december 25th was actually the birthday of the sun god, zeus, and believers started celebrating with the pagans at the same time so as to avoid persecution.

jeremiah mentions somewhere about decorating trees like the pagans do. i know it's not God's ways. i never studied about santa, and i have never been a christmas basher.
i'd much rather not trample on people's special holidays.

when i was a kid, my mom told me right off the bat, "there is no santa clause. he's a myth that people like to believe in. but honey whatever you do, if you hear kids talking about him, please don't burst their bubble. just keep your mouth shut and let their parents tell them someday"

that's kindof how i've always treated this religion crap. i kind of keep my mouth shut until our "Parent" tells them himself about what will bring Him glory in their lives. God can get their attention in whatever way He wants. he doesn't need me to go around bursting people's christmas bubbles. i just like to tell people when it actually is Yeshua's birthday so that they can honor it in their hearts if they want to.

i mean gosh. the disciples knew when his birthday was but they didn't really talk about it OR celebrate it. birthdays themselves actually have a bit of a pagan connotation to them (i heard a long teaching on it once) but ya know? that's not gonna stop me from celebrating my OWN. and knowing what i know about the Jewish Holidays and feasts? i'm gonna celebrate that in my heart to the best of my ability.

tiny tidbit: it was at the end of this feast during the water pouring ceremony that yeshua stood up and said "if anyone is thirsty, let him come to me... and out of his inner most being will flow rivers of living water..."

that's what Jesus chose to celebrate. so. yeah. food for thought and all that jazz.

I know that some people think it's bad to put up Christmas trees...I don't really see anything wrong with it. The problem comes when people start worshiping the tree, and that's what the pagans were doing, if I'm correct. And I'm not even sure the type of tree people put up in their house is the same type of tree that the pagans were worshiping, but again, I could be wrong...and mainly, Santa Claus came from the whole story on Saint Nicholas. Because didn't he give things to the poor around that time? But I don't know how or why they blew it out of proportion and made him "Santa Claus" and I think it's sorta deceiving to tell kids that Santa is real. My parents did the same thing yours did. At first I didn't believe them, but then I accepted it later on in life. (I was 6 or 7, I think.) I'm glad they told me the truth.

lil_christian; your Toy Story quote did made me smile. I always love the part with those green aliens, they are so very funny. ;) :)

ijustwanttheTruth;

it is right about not bashing about how other celebrates their holidays, same way as with many other traditions and things other people likes doing. Except of if they are doing something we know is wrong, then we are to confronting them. Though all should be to confronting them in love in Christ Jesus, something many Christians rather forget, and then when they confront others out in anger they create more confusion and hurt rather than making them see the truth.

Anywho; With my mother it was very different. I'd respect the way she thought was nice to decorate and celebrate Christmas, but she herself would bash at my simple way of celebrating Christmas. And that last time at their house she instead of accepting that I viewed this all in a different way as well as keeping Jesus Christ as the main focuse and reason for celebrating, she only made a huge bashment out from this all, as well as being sarcastic to me just wanting to keep it more simple and Jesus centered. As a child myself I was told the myth about the three wise men still being alive and giving the kids presents every 6th of january, I did beleive in this very much, and other parents of children that already didn't beleived in Santa told them to not telling me about them no longer existing, the day my mother told me that they didn't existed any longer, I got so mad, as well as I maybe felt fooled by something I did thought as a true fact.

I agree on the Santa Clause issue. Santa Clause is an abomination unto God. Let's just examine it...He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows when you've been bad or good....So now he is all seeing and all knowing..like a god. People tell theur children to act right so Santa Clause will be pleased with them. No!! that is idol worship! We need to rell our children to act right so GOD will be pleased. See how man has corrupted something that belongs to God??

Yep, I see that. Also why I think it is sad that even in many Christian families they still celebrate with Santa Clause in mind. Especially in Norway there they have about these "nisser", they are some similiar creatures like Santa Claus in miniature, or one could say they are like what elf's are for Santa Clause, some little helpers, as well as what people in the older times up there in Norway or Scandinavia in general feared and needed to please them, as in putting out porridge or other nice food to their "nisse" also living in their house, or most keeping an eye on them and theirs. But there are Christian families that tell their children Santa Clause is fine and that keeps it as a part of the tradition, whilst Christian families should tell more the truth to their children, and showing an Christian attitude to those who are non-beleivers in celebrating a way that is more God honoured as well as God centered.

It is just sad to seeing how far this Christmas celebration has gone, and how many participates in it. Of course, if the focuse is good and Christ centered, then I don't think this will bother God, and it will rather please Him seeing that the way they celebrate is more honouring and pleasing to Him. What I think is wrong is celebrating without giving God much thought nor honour during this time, as well as being open for Santa Clause and any other bad's that isn't God honouring at all during that time.
